Great family space

Quiet location handy to a clean Berrara Creek and beach which are fabulous for swimming & kayaking. Great bushwalking nearby too… take your swimmers for a dip at the mini waterfall. Be aware there is NO internet service at the house. This actually enhanced family time…. Games nights!!!

Perfect location with a short walk to the lake.

Large house with loads of room and spaces. Loved the front room ( dubbed the palm parlour reading room!). Whilst large and tidy, it could benefit from some modernised styling, and fresh linen ( lounge pillows and bed covers. A couple of deck/ patio chairs out on the front deck would be well used to appreciate the views of the lake from.

We loved it

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our older family; location to Berrara lagoon great for fishing and kayaking. Perfect beaches, inlets and lake are so close. No mobile reception or wifi available in the property, but this was welcomed; switching off for the week. There is limited restaurants in town so we used the kitchen a lot. Would have liked more basic equipment, in better condition; we made do, but utensils and equipment were limited. Would stay again. Thanks.

No frills beds by the beach

The property is located in amongst a beautiful natural environment, near an inlet and the ocean. There was no reception in the suburb and no wifi at the house which made communication difficult. The house is probably in need of a bit of TLC, with a broken kitchen faucet and not a lot to make meals with. It’s basic accomodation with no linen, tea towels and very little toilet paper - so a lot of BYO required. All in all, fine for a weekend if you want a no frills bed and a hot shower by the beach!

Great Spot

Fantastic location. Clean house. We were only there a couple of days and it’s a beautiful part of the world. The house has little to no mobile phone reception, but that can be a good thing. The only problem was there was no dryer, but again, that’s only a problem if it’s raining and you can’t dry your swimming stuff.

Wonderful peaceful stay

Great location, near lake and beach. Had Kangaroos visit in the morning and lovely birds chirping nearby. Love the tranquillity and calmness. Very peaceful, great for unwinding. Only thing is no internet in the house and pots/pans need replacing as were quite old and rusty. Hot water is great, very quick. Otherwise, lovely place to rest and recharge. ♥️

Exceeded our expectations

The house was clean, the beds comfortable and we were impressed with the layout of the property, the multiple living areas. This allowed all guests to spend time together or retreat each into one of the comfortable spaces. We loved staying at this property and will return should the opportunity arise. Thank you!

Family friendly property

The house is in a good location and suits a family. Unfortunately we found the property to be less than ideal in terms of cleanliness, but this speaks more of the previous occupants than the owners. If you want to stay in a house with plenty of sleeping and living space then give this place a try. It is close to the lagoon and a park and walking distance to the beach.
