Härlig bondgård 1792 i historiska New England Village. Vårt hus av Butternut Brook är utmärkt för en grupp vänner eller familj som deltar i ett bröllop eller examen i området. Du kan njuta av huset under alla årstider. Det är fantastiskt för en fantastisk resa för 2 eller fler.

8 sovplatser i 4 privata sovrum, 2 med privata master bad och 2 sovrum med delat badrum. Plats för upp till 10 personer med luftbädd eller futon madrass.

Den första våningen består av ett välfylldt kök med en 3-säsongs veranda och köket är öppet mot hällen och matsalen. Det finns också ett vardagsrum med bekväma möbler vilket är perfekt för tyst integritet. Ett halvt badrum och tvättstuga finns också på första våningen.
Det finns ett drottning sovrum med master badrum med badkar / dusch på första våningen. Det finns 3 sovrum på andra våningen. Befälhavaren svit har en king size-säng och en duschkabin. Det finns ett litet rum utanför befälhavaren med en spjälsäng om det behövs. De andra 2 sovrummen delar badrum med dusch. Ett sovrum har två tvillingar och det andra har en dubbel. Varje sovrum har lyxiga sängkläder och erbjuder fantastisk utsikt över majsfält och berg.

Det finns bra utomhusutrymme. Den ena sidan av huset har en öppen stor grön gård. Utför uppfarten finns en uteplats med sittplatser och grillning. Du kan höra Butternut Brook från uteplatsen.

Walpole är en vacker stad med en bygrön. Det finns en världsberömd chokladbutik och ett bra utbud av restauranger inom gångavstånd. Det är en destination året runt.

Det finns 2 avsedda parkeringsplatser. Ytterligare parkering är tillgänglig. Vänligen meddela oss om det behövs. Parkera på de två första parkeringsplatserna till vänster. Det finns 3 hyresgäster i vagnshuset som också parkerar i uppfarten.

All i's dotted and t's crossed!

Beautiful, well kept "home". Bedding and towels all first class. Didn't need anything. Right down to plenty of filled ice trays. This place is perfect if you like an historical New England, staying at the rich relatives, kinda feel. Thanks Karen and Jon.

Great birthday celebration

This was the perfect home for our big birthday new years celebration. Everything was perfect, we cooked up a great celebration in this warm comfortable property. Karen the host even sent us home made cookies. The home was huge and so warm and comfortable. We hope to come again.

Just lovely

This home was so charming. The decor is a real collection of Americana. It is just beautiful with treasures everywhere you look. The furniture and beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are well appointed and clean. The kitchen is very well stocked and easy to navigate. Our group of four women thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It felt like you were staying at a family member’s house without having to deal with the family. Ha.

Great location. Had everything we needed. Great place to gather family and friends. Great place to view the stars over the Connecticut River. Don’t forget visit the small shops in the area. Had a great conversation with the owner when we arrived.

Charming and comfortable

Jon and Karen are great hosts and our stay at their house was perfect. There were 8 of us. All family and the house accommodated our every need. Beautifully furnished, lots of comfy relaxing places to sit and converse. A very well stocked kitchen, we would go there agai and highly recommend it. , we felt right at home.

Wonderful house for gathering as a small family - to sit or explore

We had a small family gathering at the house which served as a home-base for re-exploring and reconnecting with an area we grew up enjoying. The location is fantastic for reaching each area of New Hampshire and Vermont. Access to the highway is very close and the proximity to the surrounding towns and villages means you can have your getaway away and still enjoy what each has to offer. The house itself is wonderful for a family or group who wants to be together but needs to spread out or have some space to themselves for a bit of each day. The rooms are comfortable, well-proportioned and spaced for everyone to feel they have their own oasis within the house. We found multiple areas that were comfortable for reading away half the day. Communication with Karen and Jon was excellent. We also appreciated meeting Karen, who happen to be in the area, and who was very sweet. For us and our situation, the house was a perfect fit. We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated our time at the house and would rent again next time we come back to the area.

Excellent Property

We had a great wedding weekend thanks to this property. The building had so many rooms which made getting hair and makeup done so easy! It was great to have the bridal party all together in one space. Also, it was so easy to check in and out and parking was a breeze! Great to be so close to Alyson's Orchard.

Beautiful, comfortable country home

Our extended family had a perfectly comfortable stay in this lovely home! Comfortable beds and linens, plenty of space for everyone to spread out and so close to pretty Walpole. It was our second stay at this house, and we will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

Absolutely charming

We stayed 3 nights for a graduation. Their lovely restored farmhouse was hard to leave. Could spend a season there. Clean and so comfortable. Spacious but loved gathering in one room each night. Hope to come through again.

Walpole stay

Great spot on a quiet road close to just about everything. We had 2 little ones with us, and the property was a bit tricky with them due to steep stairs and lots of antiques around that are breakable. While tricky to navigate, we managed! They had a wonderful crib and books set up for our littlest member which was so very helpful!

Dickinson’s Xmas House

Charming and spacious

On the outskirts of Walpole, a characterful little town with a surprisingly good little grocery, restaurant and of course the famous chocolate shop and tea room, this house is comfortable, furnished with antiques and has enough space for a group of family or friends.

Perfection!!

For a history lover this house was perfect! All the charm of an old farmhouse but with modern conveniences (gorgeous bathrooms). Absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. We've rented many houses over the years but this house literally had everything. There was not a meal we could think of that we could not make! We even had a turkey dinner!!! This was especially appreciated this year during the COVID pandemic! My family and I had an amazing and relaxing time playing in the snow and with all the games and puzzles the house came with! I'd move into this house in a heart beat!! Walpole is beyond charming! We just drove around a bit (because of the pandemic) but hope to visit again when life returns to normal! Owners were friendly and helpful!
