Mountain Retreat är ett land stil hem inbäddat bland ceder, tall, och bomullsträd träd. Helt avskilt på över ett tunnland och boarde National Forest, är Mountain Retreat den perfekta platsen för jakt, fiske, längdskidåkning, forsränning, vandring, eller bara koppla av. Ligger 10 miles norr om Gardiner, MT, den norra infarten till Yellowstone National Park, och cirka 0,75 miles från Hwy 89 Mountain Retreat ligger nära till åtgärden men tillräckligt långt bort att missa massorna.

Cedar Creek, en infödd mördande lek ström, rinner längs kanten av huset som ger hisnande vyer av många fönster i hela hemmet. Ljudet av bäcken söver dig att sova på natten för ett otroligt vilsam och avkopplande upplevelse.

Mountain Retreat är idealiskt beläget för dem som vill ha enkel tillgång till fiske och vandring. Från din dörr en mil och en halv enkel vandringsled tar dig upp på berget till OTO Dude Ranch. OTO är genomsyrad av historia och visar fascination så många har med den amerikanska västern vid sekelskiftet. Boken Musik, Sadlar och Flapjacks, är en kopia ligger på Mountain Retreat för din läsning nöje --- är en stor läsa om pionjärerna dude ranching rörelsen på OTO. Om fiske är vad du är ute efter, är Mountain Retreat 10 minuter från fyra olika fiske åtkomst. Yellowstone River är ett blått band öring bäck och utmärkta floden för att finslipa dina flugfiske färdigheter på och njuta av en dag på vattnet.

Vi älskar vår bit av paradiset längs Cedar Creek och vill dela den med våra gäster. Mountain Retreat är en unik fastighet och vi kommer att sträva efter att se till att det är den bästa möjliga upplevelse för dig!

Huset har 2 sovrum, ett med en drottning säng och den andra har en dubbelsäng. Den har också en multi-användning rum med två enkelsängar. Det finns ett badrum i huset. I vardagsrummet finns en öppen spis och utsikt över de vackra omgivningarna ut båda panoramafönster. Längs baksidan av huset finns en veranda med stolar och en grill för din användning tillsammans med en picknick bord alla tittar på Cedar Creek.

Relaxing Rustic Hideaway

Quiet, away from the bustle of the visitors of Yellowstone Park. Easy drive to entrance to park. Creek on the property was wonderful. Very clean and comfy beds.

McPherson Family Trip - 2025

The property was the perfect escape from reality—peacefully tucked away from it all. After a long day exploring Yellowstone, the sound of the nearby stream was pure bliss. Our family enjoyed hiking around the cabin, and we truly cherished the time together. The stargazing at night was absolutely breathtaking.

Perfect place for our family

Nice, quiet location (exactly what we were looking for). Cabin was clean and comfortable and just the right distance to Gardiner and Yellowstone. Hosts were super nice! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Base Camp for a Yellowstone Trip

This cabin on a mountain is an excellent base camp for a Yellowstone Trip. It is a bit of a drive away from the actual Park, but it's worth it to get away from the crowds and relax near the running stream. Excellent property that we hope to stay at again during our next Yellowstone adventure.

Mountain getaway

We enjoyed the outside peacefulness, having our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Absolutely loved the creek and viewing it from the bedrooms and dining room. The stars at night were gorgeous! Loved hiking around the area too. Quick drive to Gardiner and Yellowstone. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful location

Quiet cabin set up into the hills with a roaring creek next to the cabin. Perfect location and cabin for our family. Will definitely stay again if we go back to Yellowstone.

A Perfect Getaway in a Serene retreat

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at this charming mountain home. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the stunning surrounding landscape, so picturesque with a creek, trees, and an adorable bunny! The location was wonderfully secluded yet so close to town offering the best of both worlds.. Our hostess and her daughter were fantastic-warm and welcoming, and incredibly attentive to our needs, ensuring that we had a great experience during our vacation. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I will definitely be returning!

Cabin in the woods

Our stay was great! Cabin was clean and had the amenities we needed. The creek is a beautiful addition, It’s such a lovely sound to listen to! We liked how close the cabin is to Tellowstone but that it is private and away from all of the chaos. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay!

The property owner and manager are so friendly and communicative! The creek behind the house was AMAZING. We left our windows open and slept with the sound of the creek in the background. It’s a very private location with fantastic access to the North Yellowstone entrance.

Cutest cabin

Quiet and pretty spot. Home was clean, neat and was surrounded by beauty. Would be wonderful any time of the year and close to town! I would definitely reserve again. Hosts were super friendly and left us some goodies!

Great location close to YNP entrance

We didn’t spend much time in the house as we were in the park from sun up to sun down, but it worked great for us. The creek running right next to the house made for some great white noise at night!

Short drive to Yellowstone

Loves the house! It was perfect distance from Yellowstone but out of the way of crowds. Creek right next to the house was wonderful to fall asleep to. House has everything thing you need for a perfect vacation. Kids watched dvds after spending all day in Yellowstone and didn’t even miss their fast wifi.

Excellent little cabin

This property was exactly as listed. Great GREAT location to Yellowstone and extremely clean!! It was perfect for us on our stay and had more than enough room. The stream can easily be heard inside, and was so peaceful and relaxing. We had a minor issue and the owner came immediately to fix it and was so helpful and friendly!!! We would definitely stay here again if we're ever in Yellowstone!

Our stay

The property was secluded and about 15 minutes from town and the entrance to Yellowstone park. We went into town and found just about everything we needed for our stay. The property manager was very communicative and she responded to all questions promptly. Heading the steam running alongside of the property was wonderful.

Great Experience

The property was very clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. The stream next to the cabin was beautiful and a great addition. It was necessary for us to contact the host who was very gracious and made sure all of our needs were met. I would highly recommend the cabin and my family and I will be back, hopefully sooner than later.

WOW!!

Being right next to the creek was amazing!! My grandfather said he liked this place better than going to the actual park! lol I don't think I would have liked staying any closer to the park, this house was great and close enough to the park for us!! Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely and close to Yellowstone

Thank you for a wonderful stay! We really enjoyed the sound of the stream and the quiet getaway that was clean, close to Yellowstone and well maintained. Everything was easy and pleasant. The property is easy to find and very lovely. We even had a hand written note and wine waiting for us. Really appreciated having a well stocked kitchen. Thank you!

I ran Mountain Retreat as a vacation rental from 1990 - 2002 before the vacation rental movement became popular. My daughter and her family are now helping get it up and running as a vacation rental again after taking an extended hiatus from it. My daughter's boyfriend completely remodeled the house and hand crafted all the interior finish work. Our family owns the three properties before you reach Mountain Retreat along Cedar Creek Road.
