Vacation house

Overall nice property. Had a couple issues that were taken care of in timely manner. In my opinion the house could use a very deep cleaning. Especially ceramic tile floors and showers. The shower in master bedroom really needs updated. Tile dirty and moldy.

Quiet Neighbor hood

The good it was better then a Hotel Room or condo. But here is my Negative . I contacted VRBO about the Hot tub Nobody showed up to fix it so 9 Days no use without Jets, Until the 9th day i trouble shooted it on u tube and i guess it worked , no more error messsage and the jets work , WOuld of been nice to have because of my back one of the main reason i booked this house. The place need a Vacuum , Nobody hase cleaned under the Theater room chairs in allong time. Main Bathroom shower curtain is Mold and dirty need thrown in the garbage, Second bedroom double bed very un cofortable ,leans / Springs sqeek , need a new mattress.Chair on the dingroom table ripped all apart , need replaced, pots and pans are warped and in , really need a new set , Great selection of everything from plates and glassware to utensils ,Couches in main living pool area where so dirty i had to wash the cushions, But someone needs to steam clean the arms, Vent for air conditioner in the hall is very dirty and black need clean and maybe a touch up paint . Outside screens need to be replace , you get allot of bugs in the area /pool area.. sp dont leave the slider open . The Gaurds at the gate are very polite, You Pay VRBO a service fee on top of this rental they're not really keeping it up for the owner. Safe Travel everyone

A Good Place to Stay

We spent the week at this house while attending a collegiate baseball tournament. It met our needs perfectly. The best part was having a fully functional kitchen, alleviating the need to eat out all the time. The property manager was very helpful when our house entry had a small hiccup. We would definitely do this again!

Close but no Cigar

Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived I noticed that the garbage was overflowing and there was a discarded lawn chair in the front of the house. So needless to say, our first impression was negatively impacted. Upon entry to the house, I noticed a stained carpet in the living room. This did not make me feel that I should remove my shoes, which is typically what I would do when I come home. The house is definitely cute with a cottage like feel. The theater room was a highlight in the house. The chairs reclined and the surround sound gave us a feeling as though we were at a movie theater. Good job! However, back to the lack of maintenance of this property, I paid for the pool and Jacuzzi to be heated and it was, but both were not well maintained and once again not clean enough for me to partake. Bar stools broken, leg of kitchen table broken, Screen to patio broken. To their credit, when I wrote a long in-depth letter to Management about being unhappy with these things, they were responsive and sent someone out right away. The overall point is that having to write this email during my trip was a real downer. I had to move from my vacation mode to problem-solving mode (which is why we needed a vacation in the first place). In the end they gave me a small compensation monetarily, but this did not begin to make up for the inconvenience. Because of all of this, my fiancé and I made other plans to just be away more than we initially wanted. At the prices we paid, this property probably needs a little more tlc before charging the rates they charge and expecting happy clients. For a pristine environment that I can feel comfortable in during my vacation, I don't mind paying top dollar. This just missed the mark by a bit. It looked nice as long as you didn't look to closely.

Not what expected- but not horrible

We booked this property, expecting it to be a little more convenient than it was. For instance, when we arrived we noticed badly stained carpets throughout the house, dusty figurines, fixtures and curtains (we have an asthmatic child), only 2 rags and 4 towels, no trash bags, nothing for cleaning (vacuum, mop, etc), one bunk bed had marshmallows on it- my children slept in the theatre with sheets I washed because of dried blood on the bed and mattress cover, the screen leading to the pool was broken and fell once one my little one as she tried to adjust coming out to the pool, and the constant annoyance of flies burdened us. I mean flies day and night. I’m aware I’m kinda of stickler for certain things, so my standard is high; however, it just creates inconveniences we didn’t expect to encounter. The theater was nice, the community the condo’s in was peaceful, and the central air was consistent. As a renter, I would suggest some serious dusting of all things with frequent touch ups, carpet replacement or significant deep cleaning, plastic bed liners to catch anything like the blood that’s on the current ones, a good SET of cooking pots, fly stripes in the front of the house, and a handbook with places to get additional things needed for your stay, that the condo doesn’t provide. We decided not to go this route again, given the experience we had with this rental company and rental platform. I hope the next person has a better experience than us!

Dissatisfied- stained carpets, dirty walls, no garbage bags, dishwasher soap or anything consumable.

Disappointed that foe the price it wasn’t cleaner and minor consumables were not provided like garbage bags, dishwashing soap, mire than a single toilet paper roll. All very cheap items that would have saved us trips to the store when we realized basic items were not provided. A lot of things not working in the house too.

Good but not good

The house was nice BUT it was absurd how we had to provide our own toilet paper! It’s something that should obviously already be included in the home but it was not. Also other amenities were needed that we didn’t know we had to provide since we weren’t told to begin with AND it’s common sense they should be in the home. If we paid so much to stay at this home you’d think it would be worth what we paid but it wasn’t. Home was also not so clean. Sadly dissatisfied.

Great find...would stay here again!

After looking and looking for a rental that fitted to our needs, I had came across this gem. The house is beautifully laid out. We loved the amenities. Nice sized TVs in every room and living area. We loved, loved, loved the movie theater room and pool table. Only gave 4 stars because there were spiders and cobwebs on the furniture by the pool and cigarette butts behind the jacuzzi. May be time to upgrade some of the pots and pans. We did not cook, so we did not need to use them. And you may not have had time to clean the spills all over the carpet, so I will give that a pass, however carpet stain remover spray on hand could have resolved this. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!
