Awesome Little Family Stay

Great value for money

Reviewer Comments: The unit was in a good location, fairly quiet, with everything in Evan’s head within a 15min walk. Bowling club and beach access with 5 mins walk. Queen bed was comfortable, appliances and facilities were clean. Realestate was easy to deal with.

Good but needs improvement

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment is in a good location and the size was perfect for 4 people. Unfortunately we found the TV only got 1 channel, the coffee cups were all stained and there was quite a bit of dark hair on the floor. We booked through and there was no mention to the fact you need to supply your own linen and towels. We called the Real Estate office to find out what happened and they said it was in the email they sent. Well I received 6 seperate emails before we arrived and they all appeared to be the same so I didn't scroll all the way through to the bottom after the first one (which is where this information was located!). Anyway, the real estate was kind enough to bring us some linen packs. Other than that, we still enjoyed our stay as we weren't there much but would not be recommending to others.

The property was good. The price was really good, considering it was a long week end. You get what you pay for. You want 5 star, you pay the huge money. This property was good value for money.

For the budget holiday experience.

Property in disrepair

Prior to booking this property I checked if there were ceiling fans, I received confirmation that the property had them. There were no ceiling fans in the property. There were torn curtains and broken blinds in the bedroom. There were only 2 drinking glasses, 3 stained mugs, 2 bowls, insufficient for a property with 4 people renting. You would think this would be checked each time prior to rental. The water supply had a stench and bad taste, the owners say this is normal, NO IT IS NOT!!!!, as I have family living in Evans Head and their water is clean.Stay clear of this place

Lack of Safety Lighting - Kitchen understocked to suit Needs

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After Daughter in law had fall downstairs due to lack of lighting we both reported. Advised would be fixed. Next stay Outside lights worked for a few days intermittently but still pitch black arriving home after 10pm. Advised Elders that TV stopped working nothing done. Found powerboard was faulty. Last stay the heater was not working when needed. Bedding for 4 people however Crockery etc. missing so when Son and his wife stayed overnight when picking me up lack of crockery caused issues at mealtimes. No bedside lighting in a unit (no street lighting) where once lights are off unable to see hand in front of face causes danger if have to get up during the night and unable to read in bed and have to get back up to switch off main light and feel way back to bed. Certain areas around windows and under furniture had not been cleaned since last stay with cobwebs everywhere esp. around windows. The lack of lighting may explain why the majority of units are vacant nearly thr entire of my last 5 week stays

Nice apartment shame about the nomessy painters

Unfortunately got no toilet paper, Cofee or tea etc and painters were sanding and painting the exterior from annoyed two days in a row very early in the morning which woke us up which isn't ideal for a holiday..dust all over car and outdoor furniture
