Great location/apartment.

This was an excellent place to stay. Comfortable and clean ! It’s a short walk to the underground! It was easy to use ! The property had everything we needed. Nice neighborhood. Excellent communication.

Great location, not very clean

Check-in was easy and location is great. We were not told where to find the sheets and bedding for the second bed, so this was frustrating. The towels were also wet upon arrival. The windows don’t open and it gets extremely hot with no AC. The bathroom door had handprints on it, and mold in the shower. Very disappointing considering they use a cleaner as stated. The main bed was flat (you can feel the wood beneath the mattress) and the pullout bed had stains on it.

We arrived to London and suddenly we have no place to stay because the owner rented her apartment in another platform without let us know. We were refunded immediately from her but we had no place to stay in London. Thanks to VRBO that they help us to find another location.

Great Flat

While nothing could be done about the cold temps outside the flat was clean, warm and safe in a great area. Would stay again. Having a full kitchen and a washer and dryer huge plus. If anything was wrong maybe the shower drained a bit slow but boy, the water was HOT, and the pressure was excellent. So if tub drained a bit slow if that was the worse issue this plce gets 5 out of 5 stars!!

The location is great, but the unit is very outdated. The towels and linens are very old, and not white anymore, the pillows under the pillowcases are yellow, the garbage can was not empty when we arrived, and there is stuff in the kitchen and bathroom cabinets left from thst is

Great Location

This flat is in a great location. Close to Notting Hill Gate station. There are several grocery stores nearby. Perfect for 2 people. Includes washer/dryer which was nice. This would be a 5 star place, but it really could have been cleaner. For example the dish towels left were wet and didn’t smell very good. We used paper towel to do dishes.

Everything nearby: shops, tube station, Portobello road market, Kensington gardens, Holland Park,... I didn't meet with Gina in person, but we had contact via e-mail. Everything was very nice!

London Winter sightseeing

We were 2 adults and one teenager, visiting London for 6 nights. It would be a tight squeeze for anyone else. The property is in a great location for the tube/buses/walking/local shops and restaurants. The property needs some refreshing, a thorough clean, fixing of Venetian Blinds (you have to stand on a chair to adjust). It worked well for us.

Great Location but flat is rather spartan

The location is excellent, five minutes from Notting Hill Gate station. Lots of excellent restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby. About the flat. First the positives - it is quite spacious, and the washroom is excellent. They also have a washer/dryer in the unit. Also, the person managing the unit is very responsive to queries. The negatives - the bed in the bedroom is very small and the mattress is quite uncomfortable. The sofabed in the living room is actually more comfortable. My wife and I slept in different beds throughout our stay as the bed was simply too small. The flat does not provide you with anything. No toiletries - two rolls of toilet paper (we were staying for a week). Thankfully, there is a Tesco and Boots within walking distance. The flat is at ground level - a few steps below. What this means is that there is a bit of street noise. Also, a bright street light means that even with blinds, the rooms are not totally dark at night. To make this place work, pack your own toiletries and an eye mask if darkness is important for you.

Beware: "Self Service Property"

Location is great. Check in was easy. Heated towel rack in bathroom was wonderful. Bedding and towels were clean, warm, and comfortable. Dishwasher worked nicely. Internet connection was good.However, the apartment was very poorly cleaned prior to our stay. It seemed to me that the absolute minimum effort was made in cleaning prior to our arrival. The floor was quite grimey in the corners and adjacent to the walls. There were many long, black hairs under the furniture, wrapped around chair legs, and inside the lower cabinets. The window blinds and baseboards were coated in dust. The kitchen countertop and the countertop appliances were dirty. The inside of the refrigerator was not clean, and there was an old jar of kimchee left behind that made the inside of the refrigerator smell very badly. There were towels left inside the washer/dryer that were wet. We tried every drying cycle on the machine, and none of them worked, so we resorted to drying our washed clothing on the electric towel rack. The cabinets are quite cluttered and dirty and contain items from previous residents. The apartment really needs a good, deep cleaning, which seems to not have been done in a very long time. The shower drained extremely slowly such that I could only run the water for about 30 seconds before I was standing in a puddle. When I contacted management and asked them to address the issue, they told me to pour a bottle of drain blocker (which was in the bathroom cabinet) into the

Perfect flat for 2 for a week

The location of the flat was perfect for us. Close to the Nottinghill Gate tube stop and with plenty of shops and restaurants (including a M&S Simply Food, Tesco and Little Waitrose) near by. The flat kitchen had everything we needed (including washer/dryer and dishwasher) and the shower in the bath was excellent. Feng Sushi and Beluga Persian are both less than a block away and definitely worth eating at. We would stay here again if we wanted to be in Notting Hill. Note: Although the futon in the living room pulls out to sleep an additional 2 people, I suspect that the flat would be quite tight for 4.

Great for a London vacation

The location is possibly the best thing about this Flat, Close to a great Underground stop which we used to go to multiple popular tourist locations. Nice neighborhood, relatively quiet, safe with nearby pubs, dining, grocery. Nice modest flat, very clean, very nice bathroom. Was tight for our 4 adults but we did fine as we were out seeing London.

What to say when the good is equal to the bad?

Very small. No more than two people. The great quality of this apartment is that it is close to everything. Everything is less than 5 minutes away. To live there for a long time would be difficult. Maximum 4 or 5 days. Personally all the misfortunes have happened to me. Key that does not work when I arrive. Almost an hour of waiting before entering and it was raining. No internet connection possible throughout the stay while it worked very well at McDonald's. The connection for the television was not made and no explanation on the spot. A very small fan to cool off. I must say, however, that the manager has really tried to correct all the problems. She even accompanied me to a computer store But the bad thing is that she did not succeed at 100% and she is really very very busy. Too much for one person. TrĂšs petit. Pas plus de deux personnes. La grande qualitĂ© de cet appartement c’est qu’il est proche de tout. Tout est Ă  moins de 5 minutes. Pour y vivre longtemps ce serait difficile. Maximum 4 ou 5 jours. Personnellement tous les malheurs me sont arrivĂ©s. Clef qui ne fonctionne pas Ă  mon arrivĂ©e. Presqu'une heure d'attente avant de pouvoir entrer et il pleuvait. Aucune connection internet possible durant tout le sĂ©jour alors que cela fonctionnait trĂšs bien au McDonald. La connection pour la tĂ©lĂ©vision n’était pas faite et aucune explication sur place. Un tout petit ventilateur pour se rafraĂźchir. Je dois dire cependant que la gĂ©rante a vraiment essayĂ© de corriger tous les problĂšmes. Elle m’a mĂȘme accompagnĂ© dans un magasin d’ordinateur Mais le malheur c’est qu’elle n’a pas rĂ©ussi Ă  100% et qu’elle est vraiment trĂšs trĂšs occupĂ©e. Trop pour une seule personne.

Cozy apartment in Notting Hill

This property has a great location very near the Notting Hill underground stop. We shopped at the nearby markets (there are 3) for breakfast items and snacks. The apartment is small, but was a perfect home base for our family of 4 (two kids ages 9 and 11). Great restaurants are in the neighborhood. The entrance to Kensington Park is a 1/2 mile away and was a wonderful place for morning runs (I even saw a fox!). The kids enjoyed exploring the park, especially the Princess Diana Memorial playground.

Small flat in a great location.

We like this flat. It was a bit small for a family of 4, but had everything we needed, and fit our budget. The lock boxes made it really easy to check in and out on our own timeframe.

Cozy and Convenient

Our family of four stayed here for a long weekend and had a blast. It certainly is cozy, but the pictures are very accurate. The location was excellent - we loved grabbing breakfast and coffee in the area, exploring the market, etc. There were several grocery stores within a few blocks, making it easy to grab snacks as well. Then we were easily able to hop on the tube to explore other areas of the city. I would say the one major limitation was lounge space. We would up sprawled on the bed and couch because there wasn't enough room in one room for four people to hang out comfortably.

Perfect Location!

This flat met all our needs during a recent 5-night stay in London. It was comfortable and offered all amenities exactly as described. Most importantly, it's convenient to 3 tube lines, shops and restaurants while still in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Gina communicated all information clearly and was extremely responsive. I would highly recommend it!

Ideal para dos personas

El departamento es sumamente chico,fantastico para dos personas...a lo sumo 3.Si es una familia de 4 con equipaje,es imposible moverse.Es un departamento de un ambiente,dividido por una puerta corrediza que no cierra bien.Esta decorado con muy buen gusto,remodelado a nuevo en un barrio muy lindo.Cerca del metro y de supermercados.Tiene lavarropas y lavavajillas. Las fotos dan la impresion de mayor amplitud y una de ellas no se corresponde con la realidad,la puerta de entrada no es la publicada.La entrada es fea y por la parte trasera. Muy recomendable para dos personas.La dueña,aunque no la vi personalmente,fue amable y respondio siempre rapidamente.

Great location!

Our stay was pleasant in Notting Hill, access to and everything in the flat was exactly as stated, it was clean and a fantastic location! It is small space for our family of 4, but very well organized. The only comment I would suggest to improve our stay would have been to have a fan or two, as it was very hot in London a couple of weeks ago, and we could only find 1 unassembled fan in the closet (with parts missing). Otherwise, our stay went very smoothly! Thanks.

Great option in London!

Flat fits perfectly three guests, is bright, clean, fully equipped and decorated with taste. Great location, in a residential area only two blocks from Notting Hill Gate, where you can find supermarkets and everything one can need. It is close to Notting Hill Gate tube station, served by three lines, and also Portobello Rd and Holland Park - a very charming place. Gina provided all information before our arrival and was attentive to our needs during the stay. Absolutely recommended!
