Denna charmiga Boise-hantverkare är charmig och omsorgsfullt inredd och erbjuder en innesluten trädgård och alla de mysiga bekvämligheterna i hemmet - planera en vinprovning med nära vänner eller en familj till en friluftsliv i detta underbara utrymme! Detta ljust hem byggdes 1923 av irländska invandrars son och har trägolv, antik inredning, glada blå och gula accenter och tre sovrum och ett badrum på bottenvåningen. Snuggla upp i soffan vid gaspisen, samla dina nära och kära för ett familjebrädspel i solrummet och låt de små koppla av med filmer på platt-TV-kabeln och DVD-spelaren. Utanför är den inneslutna trädgården ett nyckfullt utrymme med en vinstocktäckt pergola och en utsmyckad uteplats med flodrock. Servera saft eller mojitos under paraplyet på verandan, eller eld upp grillen för den perfekta utomhusgrillen.

Harrison House ligger i Boises historiska North End, på den trädkantade Harrison Boulevard (som finns i National Register of Historic Places). Hemmet ligger två mil från centrum och bara några kvarter från Camel's Back Park och Hyde Park. Spela dubbel på Camel's Back tennisbanor eller hyr stand-up paddleboards från Idaho River Sports för att utforska Quinn's Pond två mil bort. I stan kan du cykla längs Boise River Greenbelt eller promenera med dina nära och kära genom Idaho Botanical Garden. Flyt floden vid Barber Park eller ta kiddos för att se tigrarna i Zoo Boise. På vintern är Bogus Basin mindre än 16 mil bort, där du kan njuta av en vit jul eller ring på nyåret i skidbackarna.

Dirty bed sheets

On the evening we checked in it was nice enough to sit outside with a glass of wine. Outside seating was dirty so came inside and turned down the bed. The bed had a hair tie, hair and dirt on the sheets. Could not have been possibly changed from the last person. Enough said.

Dirty bed sheets

We arrived on a night nice enough to sit outside with a glass of wine. Outside table and chairs were dirty, covered in yellow green pollen and had someone else’s alcohol carton trash on them. So came inside and turned down the bed only to find a hair tie, hair, and dirt in the bed. Sheets clearly not changed. The remainder of the house was clean but home has a strong odor. Smelled like antique furniture store to me. Hardwood floors creek loudly and announce anyone headed to the bathroom or in other bedrooms. There is an abundance of rough one-ply toilet paper, though. It is close to adorable Hyde Park which was the only plus for us. Would not choose this one again.

Happy visitors

Comfortable home in a beautiful tree lined historic neighborhood within walking distance of Camelbacks park with abundant trails and city views. Also walkable to Hyde Park and a short drive to the city. Perfect for our first visit to Idaho.

Beautiful and historic

This house gives off major “Gilmore Girl” vibes. It’s original, historic and the perfect vibe for being on Historic Harrison Blvd. it was stocked with everything needed! Ultimately, the house was everything we wanted & more, would absolutely stay here again!

Great spot with walkable family areas

We loved the location. The listing was 100 percent accurate and every little detail wat thought of by the hosts. The parks for our little ones were nearby and the vibrant restaurants in were a short walk away too. We will definitely return in the future.

Charming and great location

We had a lovely stay at this charming home. It is walking distance to the Hyde district which is my favorite corner of Boise. The home is really well stocked with everything you need. It’s an old home but well maintained, clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. My only recommend to owners is to please stock more toilet paper and to fix the cabinet door under kitchen sink so access to garbage is easier. I think the latch is broken?

Perfect, cozy, work getaway

I was traveling for work, and needed a place that was quiet, but still close to downtown. This was the spot!! This home is so cozy, and I was excited to retreat to it after a long day at the office, but finish up my day on my laptop on the dinning room table, then doze off to the TV in the family room. The beds were delightful, the curtains made the room black out, and the charm of the old house rocked me to sleep. This place is on my list anytime I am needing a place for creativity, focus and peace.

Quaint house in lovely part of city

Such a quiet lovely house. Amazing area and street lined with trees about 15 mins walk to Center of Boise. Couldn’t find ironing board and could not play tv for 6 days due to complexity of 3 remote controls but still loved the place! Thank you

Cozy and comfortable

We instantly felt comfortable in this cheerful and cozy home. It is on the most beautiful tree-lined street surrounded by gorgeous historical homes and a wonderful atmosphere. The house was clean and we appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. We also lived the art deco light in the bathroom and cute built in vanity. The house was full of charming details like that for those who love older homes like we do. It was roomy enough for three adults and two toddlers to roam, and the location couldn’t be better - in the heart of the north end and just minutes to the Hyde Park neighborhood and all of its cute restaurants and cafes, as well as downtown Boise. We would stay here again!

THE BEST LOCATION!

Pros: The location of this home is fantastic. Walkable to coffee shops, dining and parks. Charming older home with comfortable beds and linens throughout. On street and private parking was great. Cons: The home shows its age and the shower can be tricky to perfect the temp. There are no window coverings in the front of the home (living room/dining) so in the evenings we felt a bit on display for the neighborhood. The basement level has an odor but no living space is down there for use other than the laundry.

The location of this house was great, near hiking trails and cute Hyde Park shops and restaurants. However, I could only recommend it if the owners took the time to make this house more guest friendly. They first need to include specific instructions on how to unlock the door, use the gas fireplace, use the TV which offers home shopping channels and Netflix, and adjust the thermostat. They need to throw out permanently stained towels, replace the decades old frayed dish towels, unclog the bathroom sink, provide more than one blanket for 3 bedrooms, provide more than 6 forks and spoons for a house that accommodates 6. Without attention to the above, I cannot justify recommending this property, despite its great location.

Didn’t feel welcome

The house itself was lovely, but the rental experience was less than great. When we arrived, late, we tried the given lockbox code, which didn’t work. After 30 minutes of trying, we called Vacasa and they had sent us the wrong code. Also in the instructions it says “lockbox code,” but it actually was the code for the electronic door keypad. After finally getting in, we were awoken by frantic and loud banging on our front door at 7am. We answered it and it was a man just asking if we were staying here and if the car in the driveway was ours. He told us “oh we didn’t know this place was rented.” So I’m not sure if he was the owner or a neighbor, but needless to say it was less than relaxing. And lastly, as we were loading our vehicle and gathering last minite bags, at 11:05am, when the cleaning team arrived and were very rude to us. They were upset we were still there, however, we left the home very clean, even did our own dishes, so we felt a little disrespected that they were so offended.

Classic old home with upgrades

Our stay was good once we figured out that the code only works on the front door and how to re-close and lock it. Normally there are plastic baggies in the kitchen for left overs. I'm not a huge fan of plastic but there were none. The mirror in the bath room wasn't clean. The creaky floors were just part of being in an old home and kind of charming but woke someone up at night. Other than that, we enjoyed the home. Thank you.

Charming home, not so charming management

The house is a charming, 1920s home with minor updates. The three bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. There’s one bedroom with a small shower and a claw-footed tub. The home is walking distance to Hyde Park cafes. There’s a musty basement where the washer/dryer are kept. The management company leaves much to be desired. The beds were dirty (with hair and dirt on sheets), dirty socks and tissue paper under one of the beds, dishes that were not washed. It took several calls for them to drop off clean sheets and 2 blankets for 4 beds. They did refund the cleaning fee but checking into a dirty house after a long travel time really out a damper on this trip and how we viewed the home.
