Family time

Lovely house with good space for 5 people. Could use a gate at the top of the stairs but otherwise really nice and homely. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed to prepare a nice meal.Bonus time spent in the shearing shed.

Homely barn house stay

We really appreciated the ASAP accomodation. We travelled down for a tangi (funeral) and grateful we had a place to stay not too far from the marae.

An Amazing weekend in a barn!

The place was lovely and very accommodating. Will definitely miss waking up to the majestic view. Had a really good time and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic winter family getaway

Spacious and comfy converted barn surrounded by stunning farmland. The wood burner and farm fresh eggs were a bonus. The kids loved it too, would stay again.

Great stay

Host Jill was very accommodating with supplying eggs & setting up the fire ready to go, which we all enjoyed as it heated the whole house. Being close to Masterton we were able to take the 3 boys to the skate park (which is awesome) each day along with giving the paddle bots a go. Good location very central & cosy with everything you need.

Great little getaway

Lovely place to get away for weekend. Enough space for everyone. Fire was already lit when we arrived and fresh eggs in the fridge. Thank you. Cute touch with fresh flowers. Would stay again.

Very nice place. Good location. Caring host. Jillian, had the fireplace going for our late checkin. Walking to a nice warm house from a long drive in the cold winter night. Good house for small family. 👍

Great place for families

Our family loved staying at Green Barn. It was clean, comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. Our kids loved the big outdoor space and having the sheep over the fence. Jill was a lovely host and made everything easy. We appreciated the fresh eggs too!

Excellent country stay

This is a great 2 bedroom place to stay. We enjoyed the Easter weekend there. It's close to Greytown, Masterton and Carterton. Our host was friendly and welcoming and the eggs were a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to chill out

I was in Gladstone helping to run a two-day cycling event. The Green Barn was the perfect spot to relax at the end of two busy days.

The Green Barn.

This was a great location to stay, peaceful with a country atmosphere and the Gladstone Inn just down the road. We had to travel to Carterton for Golf each day, and that was only a 10 to 15min drive. Jill was a great host, and even supplied us with a doz. eggs. A very cosy house to stay in.

A sunny retreat house in a farm setting

This was a sunny, homely retreat surrounded by fields. There were games for all ages, and lots of cosy spaces downstairs. It has two bedrooms, but because the babies fell sick while we were there, and woke crying during the night, we realised that they're more like one and a half bedrooms for sound. We would love to come back as a couple on our bicycles, or with the children when they're a bit older

Great little place to say!

When we arrived, we thought wow! It is very spacious and very clean. Love the beautiful green surroundings and the amenities the barn provided. Jillian was a good host, we stayed for 4 nights and she popped in twice, once to say hello and second time was to check if we wanted new towels, etc. I will definitely choose to stay again. Only suggestion I have is perhaps having a fan during the summer months as it can get quite hot and humid at night. Overall, the green barn is a neat place to stay 10/10.
