Den Enchanted Valley View är ett fullt möblerat gästboende med en fantastisk panoramautsikt över de omgivande dalarna. Just what we needed

Had a great stay at this location. It had everything that we needed. The view was absolutly stunning. The host was responsive. We had a wasp nest outside of our front door and I texted him to let him know before we left for the day. When we returned in the evening the wasp issue was resolved. We would stay here again.

Beautiful stay and kind host

Almost felt more at home here than at my place . Jim was responsive and accommodating and made our stay super easy. Stayed here for almost 2 weeks and couldn't have been more comfortable. Large kitchen and living areas made our holiday stay comfy and cozy. And the view was spectacular, the quiet hills over Watkins with clear skies.

Great dog-friendly stay, beautiful view

We visited to enjoy the Deck the Halls winery tour around Seneca Lake, which was wonderful. We brought our three dogs along, who all enjoyed playing in the snow and the space of the home. We loved the sun room and the view out those windows. A great house for a peaceful, family-friendly stay.

we loved our quaint weekend in Watkins Glenn! The unit was so lovely and the host was very responsive to any and all questions we might have had. The view from the house is beautiful and you get to enjoy it from the two different porches! We will stay here again on our next visit for sure

Beautiful view

The view was beautiful. We arrived in the dark and we were not able to get a hold of the owner to verify we were at the correct home(we had been told it would be unlocked and lights on. It was unlocked but no lights and we didn't want to be walking into the wrong home). We weren't there long, the view was amazing but the beds were VERY VERY uncomfortable, which was disappointing as we had been traveling all day long. The shower was like none other we had ever seen. Directions on how to get the water to come out of the shower would have been helpful. We did get to chat the next morning with the owner and he apologized for the lack of communication. He was very nice. Our stay was short and uncomforatable.

Would use again

As reviews stated, was as advertised. We had no complaints and enjoyed the views and the house was quaint. We stayed for a wedding and did not spend much time at the location. Some aspects outdoors are a work in progress.

Lots of space & great view

We loved all the special items in the house, like the binoculars, which my family loved. The view was amazing! We saw lots of deer in the morning.

Quaint place with a wonderful view

It was a neat place with a great view. It’s not new or updated but we appreciated its uniqueness. Very roomy for 4 of us. We loved the sun room and multiple balconies. Jim was very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again if ever in the area.

Location is Beautiful!

First off, the name “Enchanted View “, doesn’t do it justice! The view is Amazing! We spent pretty much the whole time either in the sun room or deck overlooking it all. There were deer in the field below, both in the evening and morning. If we ever make a return trip, I know I would definitely look at booking it again.

Just Great!

Very spacious 3 bedroom house. It has a large kitchen with an island. A living room and a great all window sitting room. The view is awesome as the house sits on top of the hill. It’s about 2 miles from the Watkins Glen raceway and maybe 7 miles to the town of Watkins Glen. We come to the area every year for the Watkins Glen Wine Fest and will stay here again.

Short family visit

Summer stay at Jim’s family home

Jim offers his older, well-lived in, life-long family home for your stay. We weren’t accustomed to this type of set-up with there being many areas that fell short of preparedness, cleanliness, decluttering, repairs, provisions for eight and general maintenance. We’re happy to share examples as the property could be a gem for a traveling family.

Wow, what a view, what a house

This home near Watkins Glen was perfect home to stay.. There is a million dollar view out the sun porch Amazing!. All in all this was a perfect place to stay. Very, very clean and very comfortable. Amazing view from a lovely house!

View from the livingroom is stunning! It was awesome to have a dinner with that view. The house has lots of antique decorations, which I greatly enjoyed. We spend the evening by the fireplace. Overall, it was very fun and unique experience. I highly recommend :)

Communication

There were 4 of us and had a great time! Great location and a beautiful view. But there were some bumps. The shower drains were either really slow or not draining. The handle on one of the bathroom sink's comes off. The ceiling fans in 2 of the bedrooms didn't work, and we reached out bf we came to see if there were fans bc some of us sleep with them on. We would've brought our own had we'd known they didn't work. Also, we weren't aware that there was another section of the house that was occupied. Got a little fright around 10pm when we heard a TV on in the lower, basement and ppl talking and laughing. Tried to get in contact with the owner but never heard back. Did some digging then and found out there was another unit. We never saw another vehicle but ours when we got there at 2pm or when we got back from dinner. So, this might need to be added in the house description. And alittle maintenance and cleaning should be done bf the next ppl check in. It really is a great place, just needs some TLC. If all is updated, we would definitely come back! The price is great for all that it has to offer👍
