This was an awesome rental - clean, bright, beautiful, relaxing etc. Host was easy to work with. We had a changing cast of people staying as we were all working an art quilt show in town and it was so wonderful to have a lovely place to sleep and eat and enjoy our group. We had extra folks for dinners and it served a larger group really well. It's also in a great location within walking distance of the main drag and 3 museums.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was great to be within walking distance of every shop and restaurant in LaConner. The view was spectacular, too.

Exceptionally well-equipped home, beautiful gardens and view from the deck, friendly, helpful host and detailed instructions and information made this a wonderful stay. Short walk into town is down hill via road or stairs (which means up hill to go back, if this is an issue). Perfect place to enjoy La Conner and surrounding areas.

Beautiful property! We very much enjoyed our girls trip with a king sized bed in each room and two full bathrooms. Lovely decor that made you feel at home.

Hard to believe that the views from the house and the short walk to town could both be possible, but they are!House was very clean, well appointed, and exactly as listed.

This is a wonderful space esp for a family gathering which we had. 7 of us stayed in the house and worked great. 3 other people slept on their boat but ate and hung out with everyone at the house.I recommend this whole heartedly. We hope to go back.

Four lifelong friends spent 3 nights at The Benton Retreat. Five star property plus ! The home is cozy and well stocked beyond expectations. Allan greeted us when we arrived and passed along restaurant recommendations. Neighborhood Buck greeted us as well along with two gorgeous resident cats. We all four agreed this was our favorite vacay rental and we have rented many the past 20 years from coast to coast. Lovely moon rises and sunsets. Close to the shops and restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was Nell Thorn excellent menu and attentive service. We also loved the Pie Dive Bar which is a must to experience! The two brothers who own and operate the Pie Bar are delightful. Both savory and dessert pies to die for. LaConner deserves to be listed as a top destination for Wa State. This vacation home will not disappoint, in fact we four Ya Yas hope to return and stay even longer.

Perfect for a Stay in La Conner

This property is very nice and in a great location if you visit the cool little town of La Conner. Allan was great - very responsive and clearly went out of his way to make sure the house was perfect and we had everything we needed.

A beautiful house in a great location. Took walks to restaurants and shops and pier. Allan communicated well before our arrival, and even brought us pears off of his tree while we were there. Undoubtedly the best house we’ve rented !

Awesome experience once again at this lovely home. Had a wonderful time sitting on the deck watching the lovely view with friends. This home is lovely with quality linens and a well stocked kitchen. It is super clean and the owner is so kind and attentive. Highly recommend this house for a lovely time in LaConner.

We could not have asked for a better host or a lovelier home. Allan provided everything we could possibly need. The location is perfect, the view spectacular and the home beautiful. A relaxing getaway.

Beautiful home near historic Gig Harbor

Modern, clean, welcoming home with beautiful views and just a quick stroll to the cute, historic waterfront. Quiet, pretty neighborhood. Comfortable beds, big modern bathrooms and well stocked kitchen. Alan was so friendly, responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this house and are looking forward to staying again soon.

Magical Time in a Magical Place

Allan has created an amazing space in La Conner that is setup perfectly for families and friends to appreciate and relax into. We had a magical time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This slice of heaven is incredibly well thought out, furnished and created. Recommended without hesitation.
