The house was located perfectly with privacy, good walking beach access, walk to restaurants and best of all the 180 degree view of the beach and ocean. Only complaint was the first-time entry key code
.problem solved but needed to use restaurant land line to connect with management help. All good after that. Recommend this property and I would go there again.

The cabin was clean except for inside the drawers, food crumbs. The view was amazing, we saw a couple whales, the walk to town wasn't bad, after you got past the Y.

Lovely stay - with some things to be aware of

Absolutely stunning view, with the ocean right below your deck especially at high tide. Beds are super comfy and there are plenty of windows that open to improve air flow. Washer and dryer are modern, kitchen small but well laid out. Coffee maker is drip brew which we prefer but a friend that came with us brought her own Keurig. Beach access is not easy - choice between walking several blocks to the wayside (and then back uphill afterward) or walking along the busy road to Symons viewpoint and slip-sliding down a steep and sandy cliffside path. NOT for those with physical impairments. Getting in the car and driving to the public wayside is one option but involves circling the parking lots and neighborhood streets, competing for the rare open parking spot - and this was midweek, not a weekend. The circular staircase to the loft and upstairs bedroom is a hazard - steps are polished wood and triangular in shape, so caution is needed especially when trying to carry belongings up and down the stairs. But the bigger hazard is walking and/or bending over under those stairs and knocking yourself on the head with the sharp metal frame. We moved a chest, end table and couch over there to keep us from trying to walk into that space. I would recommend the owners add a "mind your head" bright red warning sign at forehead height on the living-room side of the stairs. Lovely to have a hot tub on the deck overlooking the ocean - two average size adults barely fit, and we overflowed it first thing. It's shallow and the seats are narrow and the jets are pretty weak - still great for a soak on chilly evenings and early mornings. Overall glad we came!

Beautiful!

The house is gorgeous! The view is awesome! All 5 stars. There were two things that were really not cool though. First, the code would not work when we arrived. We tried it over and over... To make it worse there is terrible phone reception out there so our calls weren't going through. We eventually got a text to go through and vacasa told us the code to the hide a key box. All was awesome inside. BUT then some sort of alarm started going off at like 3am like a fire alarm but it wasn't It turned off after like 30 seconds. I have no idea what it was but I could not sleep after that. I would try staying again.. the views are amazing. Between the door not working right and the alarm I will definitely bring my husband with me!

Cozy home with great views

The home was nicely appointed, clean, and had gorgeous ocean views. Loved the deck and hot tub. Things to know: 1. There is NO cell coverage on AT&T and Verizon. Save your door code and WiFi information ahead. 2. It does not have direct beach access. You have to walk a few minutes to get to proper steps/ramp to the beach. There are a few trails closer but they are a little steep and hard to carry beach chairs, etc down. 3. The door code provided for us did not work. If I were to return, I would proactively request the backup key box code (which is what we had to use the whole weekend). Contacting customer service could only be achieved via email over WiFi due to no cellular coverage which presented challenges gaining initial entry. 4. The kitchen is generally well appointed. If you plan to bake, bring your own baking sheet, the available baking pans were rusty. Otherwise everything was great. 5. If you like cozy blankets, bring your own. The linens are nice but there aren’t extra blankets. 6. Bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and bar soap available. The washer and dryer have detergent available and are very clean.

Nice place!

Cozy little house with amazing views! It was clean and had everything we needed. The only negative we could think of is maybe the setup of the living room isn’t super cozy for more than a couple of people to be able to really kick back in a comfortable couch or recliner or the like. Keep in mind that this does not have direct beach access — you have to go down the road, which is maybe a 5 minute walk. But, being up higher gives you amazing views!

Blue sea cottage is bic

We enjoyed our stay overall. The views are truly mesmerizing and the kitchen served us well for two nights eating at home. I would have liked led clearer instructions on how to get to the beach as we had to figure it out in our own since the path down is about 200 feet away. Easily walkable but you have to find it. Also the faucet in the kitchen kept breaking and needs to be replaced. Otherwise, we all slept well and enjoyed the board games!

Great Stay with Beautiful Beach View and Relaxing Hot Tub

We had an amazing stay at this rental! It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The view of the beach was absolutely breathtaking, and we loved waking up to the sight of the ocean right from the living room. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind, especially in the evenings when the sea fog rolled in – it made for such a peaceful atmosphere. The weather was fantastic, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beachfront escape!

Wonderful views from giant windows. Hot tub was a delight. Just be aware that the second bedroom is on the upper floor with the loft, up the spiral staircase, which makes it very difficult to access for those with mobility issues.

Great Location

This is a great spot on the OR coast. The views from the living room and hot tub were great - amazing sunsets. The beach is a good one - you can walk pretty far in either direction. Fun time!

Disappointed

We were so excited about staying here, but were quickly disappointed by several issues. First - the good - awesome view of the beach and rocks. Could hear the ocean. The hot tub worked. As for the issues: Checkin delayed - we were unable to check in on time because the cleaner was still there til 4:30. Towels soaking when we arrived. Cleaner told us she didn’t have time to dry them. Why she couldn’t have put them in the dryer at least? Not a great welcome. Only one window in main bedroom opened and there was a large rip in the screen, welcoming in bugs into the house. No bath mat in one bathroom. No baking sheets - at all - in a supposedly fully stocked kitchen which also only had one dinner fork but a whole bunch of small dessert ones. Deapitw a sign saying the owner provided condiments - and in fact they did have several - there was no salt. We hadn’t picked that up when we went to grocery because it’s basic and the sign said they had. This place had a strange garbage set up which required a huge garbage bag - larger than normal- which has to be replaced every Tuesday. There was a sign to use the bags provided Uber the sink. Except there were none. Both the kitchen and one bathroom sink leaked. The kitchen was just a constant drip but the bathroom flooded the drawers underneath and the floor. A maintenance person was sent out the next day for this. Dishwasher also leaked and we woke up to wet kitchen floor every mornin Grill only one half worked Broken chair on deck

Great views

The house has amazing views. However, it was not a cheap house and there were some things that were really frustrating. The entry code into the house was glitchy and seems like it should not have been in this day and age. The grill was not functional, so don’t plan on grilling. The views were amazing, but it was a walk to the beach. There is no direct access despite the pictures and review.

Oregon Coast

It was an amazing house. We had a great stay. The views were absolutely stunning and the beach was nice. I loved the way the house was decorated and how welcome we felt when we walked in. I thought everything was perfect but if I did have to make a suggestion it would be to add a floor length mirror. I think it would be very helpful and a nice addition to the house. Thank you for everything by the way we are so grateful that we got to stay in this lovely house.
