En 52-tums platt-tv med Netflix och en Wii på övervåningen och en 48-tums platt-tv nere. 4-personers badtunna utanför, gasgrill på bakre verandan och eldstaden på sidan verandan. Ligger i skog med utsikt över bergen. Nära Blue Ridge Parkway, MST Trail, Folk Art Center och VA-sjukhuset. House är familjevänligt med barn-tema sovrum med två sängar, utomhus trädhus, sandlåda, småbarns gunga, säkerhetsgrindar på trappan, pack-n-play, leksaker, etc. ... House har också en utfälld futon. Huset har tre små däck m / utomhusstolar och bord och en liten inhägnad gård. Hundvänlig med husdjursavgift, inga katter. Intill Grassy Branch Semesteruthyrning, The Wayward Moose lodge och Little Moose Cabin. Huset ligger 10 minuter från centrum av Asheville. Huset är två våningar med övervåningen (cirka 900 kvadratmeter) som innehåller sovrum, barn sovrum med 2 enkelsängar, badrum w / jet badkar, kök och hällen och ned trappan (ca 500 kvadratmeter) som innehåller sovrum, badrum och lerrum / tvättstuga. Huset nås via trappor (se bilder), inte perfekt för äldre och är inte tillgängligt för funktionshindrade. Tillgångsväg är privat smuts / grus.

Loved the location

good stay

Overall the house was nice, and the property was in a great quiet location. My daughter did find a pillow on her bed, and the kitchen pans were dirty and had to be washed before use. We enjoyed seeing the bears and the dear on property. The hot tub was also amazing. We had a good time on our little vacation.

Great location spacious house

Very cozy and clean! Fantastic location, gas station only five minutes away you can be to Walmart in 10. I would suggest if you’re in the area to go to Catawba Falls! We really enjoyed the beds and the hot tub! Thanks guys!

Just a weekend break we wanted

We wanted a "DO NOTHING" break from our daily work. This cabin have us exactly what we wanted. Toys, movies and books to keep the kid busy and relaxing couch and recliner to let us relax. The hot tub was nice and hot.

Great yard!

Good house.

A bit dated, but overall a good house. It served our purposes well(hurricane relief). Great communication from the host. It smelled like an old house that is my only complaint.

Fantastic House Near Asheville, but in the quiet, somewhat private outskirts

Such a comfortable home and so close to all of the Asheville activities. Somewhat private in the trees and very quiet road while we were there. Great patio space and the hot tub was great after long days of exploring.

Awesome Family Getaway

we had a great time at Rodney's house - it's perfect for a family with kids and ours loved the toys and it was so nice they had gates on all the stairs and the yard was perfect. It feels very secluded but was very accessible to everywhere in town.

Perfect host

Mr Clark was extremely fast communicating back with me even during one of the worst possible times this area has seen. I didn’t get to stay unfortunately only due to the hurricane that swept the roads away. I plan on scheduling another time to stay here solely based on how great the host were during that time and leading up to it. The cabin itself had everything we wanted and needed for a great vacation.

Quick Getaway

We planned this trip at the last minute and could not have been happier with the cabin. It was more than we needed for the 2 of us, but the price and location could not be beat. The space was comfortable and location was convenient. Would definitely come back and stay again.

Great price for the location and space

This home feels like you are out there in the woods but is also close to downtown Asheville and even closer to Ingles which is great since we cooked most meals at the home. Owners were very responsive when we needed assistance with locating the outside lights. We would stay again

My wife and I lived in the house from February 2008 to September 2015. We've had two children in that time and we still live in Asheville. We are both geologists, which is why you may find various unique rocks on display throughout the house.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This home has all the convenience of town (less than 10 minutes to downtown), but is tucked away in a forest/ mountain setting just outside the city limits near the Blue Ridge Parkway/MST trail. We have seen a lot of wildlife at the property in Spring, Summer and Fall. I like to paint, so there is a Dr. Seuss themed mural in the kids room and a few other original paintings in the house. The yard is enclosed, so you can let the dogs run free, if they are not climbers/jumpers. True for kids too.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

It ultimately came down to the fact that I could not paint over the mural I painted in the kids room, so we decided to rent the house as vacation rental. We sincerely hope you find the happiness that we found in our years at the house!
