Den nya Tauranga Crossing är nu öppen, vår påskbokning är full men har ANZAC lång helg öppet, förfrågningar är varma så gör en bokning snart.

Bara några minuter till CBD slappna av i landet. Omvandling (Feb 2019), en mycket stor 3 sovrum avskild bungalow som är fristående, ned en privat väg i en lantlig miljö, 2 min från det nya Tauranga Crossing Mall, affärer, restauranger och Event Cinema, 15 min från Mount Maunganui Beach. En kort promenad till ett café / trädgård ctr till frukost eller lunch (7 dagar). En idealisk plats att vara i bukten.

Peaceful and Convenient

Would definitely come and stay again, we found it very central to where we wanted to travel to and peaceful when we wanted to relax and just enjoy the feel of the semi rural area. It had everything we needed and Steve was very helpful even giving us some fresh eggs from the chickens.

Highly recommended

Comfortable quiet location. Comfortable beds. Welcomed with a bottle of wine and a merry christmas label. The host even gave my grandsons a xmas gift. They were very excited to receive it. Made use of the bbq and washing machine. Would stay again.

Amazing Stay! Highly Recommend

Myself and my family came down for the week to watch our daughter compete in the AIMS tournament. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the rosewood retreat. The shower is amazing. The property is in a very serene, calm setting which ensured going home after competing everyday we were able to relax and reset. Steve was easily contactable and very accomadating to our needs.Thank you for having us!

First Ever BookABach Stay Disappointing

Overall the property was positioned in a lovely setting and the host made himself easily accessible and attended and assisted us when and if required. The disappointing part was the cleanliness of the kitchen and bathroom. It appeared to us that basic cleaning had been done but the kitchen and bathroom needed a deep clean. We discovered disused takeaway food wrappers in the back of the kitchen cupboard which permeated a terrible smell when opening the cupboards. The stove top and oven were basically clean however the warming drawer was full of food scraps and mold. It was obvious a quick vacuum may have been done but the cobwebs and insects on the ceiling line and the corners of the rooms had been overlooked. There was a vacuum cleaner provided and we vacuum the insects and the cob webs. Additionally in the kitchen area we uplifted the microwave and other bench positioned appliances and cleaned underneath them as it was all very oily/dusty and we found that this along with the takeaway food container items attracted very large undesirable cockroaches. Additionally the knife and fork drawer was dirty. We removed all the utensils and cleaned the drawer liner. We based our booking at this location based on the attractive photographs and the reviews of 10/10 for cleanliness. We believe that the cleanliness review needs to be revised and addressed. We did drawer our concerns to the attention of the host and we believe/hope they will be addressed.

Lovely stay. But when you are short it was very difficult to reach the cups and glasses No bread board the salt dispenser was empty It needed a light above the sink as was very dark But overall was a great stay

Schönes Haus in grüner Lage

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Steve ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Das Haus ist funktional eingerichtet. Es befindet sich auf dem Grundstück des Gastgebers und man hat vom Haus aus einen schönen Blick ins Grüne.

Peaceful Haven

Good communication, easy check in and out, peaceful and private location. Lovely and modern property, but do take a device to cast to the TV as it doesn't have channels or NZ TV apps.

Tauriko property

Comfortable house, suitable for elderly person with poor mobility. Excellent support from property owners whenever there were problems. Doesn't get a lot of sun in winter. The adjacent state highway has heavy traffic, so not comfortable for going for walks from the property. Avoid Tauriko Crossing shopping centre (and that intersection) if you can. Easy to get to and from McLaren Falls park which is a lovely destination.

Tranquil and Tidy stay in Tauriko

We had a lovely stay: the house was immaculately clean, it is well appointed, in an attractive and quiet estate, and suited us perfectly for our short visit. Many thanks to our host Steve and Christine, and especially for the use of their kayak and a lovely bottle of wine.

The house is very clean and spacious for a big family. The landlord is very kind and can provide prompt help if anything needed. Also the fishing trip the landlord provided is awesome and my family are very happy with the stay

Both business people with a wide background .

love sea fishing, camping, motorbiking and general outdoors freedom of walking cycling and hiking. Happy to share insights to local and NZ attractions.

Varför värden valde detta boende

As part of our family property we developed the bungalow from a new building constructed in 2013. We converted this building in Feb 2019, to a large 3 bedroom and modern accommodation bungalow featuring the latest in appliances decor and all new furniture etc.
Its pretty special and sits in a quiet part of our property away form the main house.

We are close to the new cycleway and over bridge.
The new Tauranga Crossing mall opened in April 2019 with the largest event cinema , restaurants and shops including H&M.

Moments from hotpools and spas, our location gives privacy but accessibility to all the bay has to offer without having to move to other towns in the region. A great base to explore the bay, including, Coromandel Taupo, Rotorua, Hamilton and the Eastern Bay.

Avocado's and Kiwifruit are on the menu and home of some of New Zzealands best food brands including Comvita and Zespri
