Spektakulär sex sovrum stuga ligger på McGregor Lake nära Val des Monts vackert inställd på sin halvö omgiven av vatten på tre sidor. Den nyligen byggda stugan har ett stort vardagsrum med stor takhöjd i katedralstil med stort kök, öppen spis, soffor och bekväm matplats för upp till 12 gäster. Omgivande stora glasfönster ger dramatisk utsikt över sjön med enkel tillgång till stor balkong med utsikt över sjön med grill och uteservering. Köket är fullt utrustat med högkvalitativa apparater, inklusive två diskmaskiner, stort kylskåp, gasspis och vinkylare. På huvudvåningen ingår också en studie, skafferi, loo och skärm veranda med weatherall fönster. Fem av de sex sovrummen har eget badrum med badkar och / eller duschar - fyra är dubbla, två är tvillingar. Det finns också en separat familj badrum. Fastigheten ger lätt, skrånande tillgång till ett par bryggor som garanterar dagens solsken och tillhandahållandet av en kanot och fyra kajaker ingår tillsammans med ett urval av flytvästar. Stugan ligger fem minuter från Val des Monts och bara 30 minuter från centrala Ottawa. Golf, skidåkning, antenn och vattenrutschbanor är också inom 20 minuters bilresa. WIFI, satellit-TV och andra bekvämligheter finns också.

Absolutely gorgeous

I can't say enough good things about my family's stay on McGregor Lake. The property was absolutely amazing and I feel lucky that this lovely home could be shared with us this summer. Everything was perfect. There is a gorgeous view and access to the lake. Large bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms for nearly every room. A spacious kitchen, dining area and living areas which made a larger family get together possible. It truly is hard to appreciate how fantastic the place is until you see it in person. Thank you so much again for sharing your wonderful home with us this summer!

Spectacular!

This property is a gem. The house is roomy, and guests can each have their own bathroom. The kitchen is beautifully equipped. Lovely snowshoeing on the lake and lots of deer. Communication was smooth. Going back in the fall!

The house is simply stunning. Pictures dont do it justice. Communications with the owner were so easy and they were so kind and responded to our many questions. We will definitely try to go back with a bigger group!

Excellent time in Val Des Monts

Sam was a wonderful and accommodating host. Beautifully clean property with the best equipped kitchen that I have rented. Nice comfortable beds. This home made you feel like you were their own guests. Would definitely return.

Family Weekend

I’ll start be reiterating some comments from other reviews. The photos don’t do it justice and it really does feel like you’ve taken over a boutique hotel. The fact that everyone’s room has it’s own ensuite makes it such a comfortable stay for various groups, your in laws etc. There isn’t a mediocre view in the house. Every room has a beautiful view and the living room dinning room area is gorgeous and so cozy. We left talking about how we would love to stay again in the summer.

Absolutely perfect - pictures don't do it justice!

This property, Birchmore, is an absolute gem. Truly, the photos don't tell the whole story. The property is huge, and the house itself is too. It is so well equipped - it feels like you've taken over a boutique hotel. Every room has a dedicated full (generous) washroom which makes it perfect for a couple of families to stay together while having privacy. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything has been equipped to a very high standard. The kitchen is a dream for multiple people to cook together, and with the wrap-around views of the lake (the place is all windows), spending time inside was just as lovely as sitting outside. We took advantage of the canoe and took many paddles around the lake (which goes a long way if you're interested in a really long day of paddling). There are also kayaks (we stuck to the canoe as the ice had just receded). I also should say the owners were absolutely lovely and so accommodating. Check-in was very easy and it was nice to connect (virtually) with the owners to chat about their beautiful property. We stayed with our "bubble family" for just over a week during the pandemic, and the time spent here was so incredibly therapeutic. I can't say enough about this property and the time we spent - if you're fortunate enough to visit, you won't regret it.

Wonderful family holiday!

Everyone had an excellent pre Christmas holiday. Lots of space for relaxing by the fire, reading playing board games and working on a puzzle. Fabulous kitchen with lots of space for meal prepping and good conversation. The pictures really don’t do the cottage justice. Hope to be back again!

Perfect location for a big family

Our stay at the cottage was fantastic. The location is easily accessible and close to all you need. The cottage is beautifully built and has a great feel to it. It was constructed with care and with plenty of rooms. Everyone loved their stay and are looking forward to our next family gathering there.

McGregor Lake Beauty

The setting of this McGregor Lake cottage is outstanding. From the dock you have a wonderful view of the lake, and we made excellent use of the kayaks, the canoe and the paddle board. Beautiful weather for our whole stay was a bonus. It is a pleasure preparing meals in the large, well-equipped kitchen, and again, views of the lake are breathtaking. There are so many lovely spaces in this cottage to linger and chat. We enjoyed coffee on the large balcony overlooking the lake, relaxing in the screened-in porch and group dinners around the large dining room table. The separate TV room was perfect when some of us wanted to stay up and watch a movie. We are a group of five women from the Ottawa area who treasure our time together. What a luxury for each of us to have an ensuite bathroom! We hope to return to this beautiful cottage and found the owners to be very responsive, courteous and helpful.
