downtown

very much a downtown stay. very clean, well appointed. close to the Bald Barista a great place for coffee. Across from the grocery store. Walking distance to great bars and restaurants. A bit complicated to check into. The key system didn't work that well. I wouldn't want to be chased by anybody lol. Overall comment... I'd stay here again

It Was OK But Wouldn't Stay Here Again

I got an email that said I had to load their app, enable wifi and blue tooth, and then my phone would open the building door and apartment door electronically. Alternately, I could go to some other location and get a card key. Too complicated, especially, when early on I could not get the apartment door to open. At least the host has a 24 hr line to call. After I talked to them, we shut down my phone, and blue tooth and then reengaged and it worked. Didn't have an issue after that. As to the apartment itself, the living room (couch arrangement) was not like shown, the ensuite bedroom door would not latch closed while the other bedroom door would stay open unless you propped it open with something. The hall toilet, when flushed, makes a sound the equivalent to a cruise ship horn that I'm sure can be heard in other apartments. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything including a lot of street noise at night. Finally, the kitchen had no paper towels, no salt/pepper or any spices whatsoever. As to the positives, it is located across the street from a small grocery and is a short 3 minute walk from night life and restaurants and a 8 minute walk to the Temple Bar area. Convenient in that regard. We didn't have a car and walked everywhere. The apartment in general is adequate but definitely not luxurious. Don't know that it was the right value for the money.

Dublin Trip with friends

Apartment is centrally located. However the apartment is quite small and the rooms are especially tiny. We had the property manager confirm two single beds per room but they gave us double beds.

Great location?

This is in a great location, but the block is a different matter. I did not feel completely safe, and we were very cautious here. Very close to most things, a Lidl across the street and lots of good restaurants close by. There’s a definite homeless problem here, and not a feeling that anyone cares. The apartment listing is accurate. The staircase to the apartments should be fixed. The carpeting and padding are so worn that you must be careful how you step, it’s easy to slip off a step.

Close to key sights

Convenient to walking the city. One flight of stairs up from entrance. Living room overlooks lively street but bedrooms are to the back and quiet. Lidl grocery store on the same block makes accessing basic provisions very easy. Fully stocked kitchen with stove, micro, and cooktop. Laundry is combined washer/dryer.

Great stay

Had an excellent stay at this facility, mainly due to its central location. Only negatives were the main bathroom plumbing.which made a loud droning noise as the toilet refilled. They could use some large throw pillows on the couch to save lower back pain. Not easy for partners entering to the other side of bed:). Grocery store across the street was great!! Walkable to most Dublin sights

Adequate, Not Much More

I want to preface by saying you're paying for location, primarily. Excellent, if somewhat dodgy, location, close to many places of interest, shops, restaurants, etc. That said, does the apartment have what you need? Yes. Does it have everything you want? Probably not. Apartment is very spartan, not much in the line of decor or niceties. Couch was uncomfortable and there were no reading lamps, so at night,you have to have the overhead lights on to read. Apartment had a musty smell when we arrived, and a definite sewage smell in the bathroom. Also, the pipes made a loud sound like a steamboat whistle. Personally, if we come back to Dublin, we'd book another property. But as I said earlier, the location is great, which is what you're paying for.

Great Location, nice flat

We had a great stay. The place was as depicted. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful. If I could make one recomendation, the kitchen could be a bit better equipt, but that is a minor suggestion and mostly relevant because we were attempting to host an American Thanksgiving. I would recommend this flat and I would stay here again. You can't beat the location!

Nice place near the sights

The apartment is nicely furnished and centrally located. We walked to most of our sightseeing destinations. Management was very helpful when contacted. It does have a hot water issue as mentioned in previous reviews. You can only get hot water at one faucet at a time. I would suggest that they remove the bathroom cabinet over the sink in the insuite bath. It is too deep for the room and sink. You hit your head on it trying to wash your face. There also needs to be a shelf in that shower.

Great Location -- Near everything!

Apartment was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, and near great restaurants. We were three friends (one couple and one single) -- and we didn't cook so can't comment on kitchen - but it looked good. Washer dryer is one unit so needed a little help there. Not noisy at all, considering the location. Loved the check in process -- driver picked us up from airport -- took us to main office and then too us to apartment. Would definiteley recommend.

Big city style apartment

This is a big city type of rental. Management copy is good but unfortunately you have to pick up your keys off site rather than directly at the property. Unit was on second floor with and entertaining view of a busy intersection. If you like your windows open then you can enjoy the busy city noise. Windows and doors closed, outside sounds are greatly reduced. Location is good. A fun window shopping packed streets to Temple Bar or Grafton street. If you have a quick need, no worries, a convenient store is just across the street. Cheers Dublin!

Excellent location and condition

The place is wonderful. We really enjoy it! The only downside is the smell of burrito. There is a burrito store downstairs. The smell of burrito is always there. But you get used to it pretty soon. Overall, this is an excellent place!
