Välkommen till Casa Guacamaya (Macaw House), en vacker villa i Rosa Blanca.
Dessa lägenheter ligger i den norra änden av säkra uppdelning av Playa bil, på södra sidan av Playa del Carmen. Du är bara en 5-8 minuters promenad till den världsberömda 5th Avenue, med fantastiska restauranger som erbjuder mat från hela världen och catering till alla smaker och prisklasser. Det finns barer och underhållning som sträcker sig från blues musik till disco till traditionella sångare vandra på gatorna. Om du bara vill shoppa, har du butiker som sträcker sig från Neiman Marcus till lokala gatuförsäljare. Mångfalden är oändlig och tillgodoser allas behov och förväntningar.

Vi hyrde i Rosa Blanca för ett antal år och i februari 2015 köpte vår lägenhet från en av de ursprungliga ägarna. En omfattande renovering har gjorts för att våra 2 sovrum - 2 badrum lägenhet. Vår enhet har helt ny inredning färg och vardagsrum möbler. Varje sovrum har en king size-säng, garderober och en byrå. Vår enhet översta våningen takvåning läge ger svala havet vindar att flöda genom altanskärmarna på kvällen.

Vårt mål är att vara miljövänlig:
Till att börja med är all belysning energieffektiv. Vem ska laga en stek eller kyckling i en ugn när du är på semester? Var inte. Så ingen ugn: vad vi erbjuder istället finns bekvämligheter som uppfyller våra behov och behoven hos våra gäster.
Induktions koka upp inte producera värme, är barnvänligt, och genererar värmen internt på botten av krukan eller pannan. Sviten har också en brödrost, vattenkokare, mikrovågsugn (engelska display), mixer och vattenkokare.

Det första på morgonen, innan en promenad på stranden, strosa runt hörnet till en fransk bageri för färska croissanter (choklad kära samt) för frukost. Dessa lägenheter är också inom gångavstånd till en stor livsmedelsbutik som kallas Chedraui. Här hittar du ett brett utbud av dagligvaror, kött, mejeriprodukter, sprit och kläder. Det finns en liten hand vagn i tvättstugan för din användning för transport av livsmedel.

Om din avsikt är att komma till Rosa Blanca att festa hårt, det är kanske inte platsen för dig. Rosa Blanca är en tätt sammansvetsad grupp av 12 condo enheter med ägare som tycker om lugn och lugna kvällar.

Den vita sandstranden i Mayan Riviera är en kort fem minuters promenad ner en sten väg genom några träd och tidigare mayaruiner från dagar tidigare. Varje morgon är det första på vår "rigorösa" schema är att gå till stranden innan eftermiddagen värmen. Insidan skämt är att du får träffa alla två gånger medan promenader på stranden: Du möter dem när du går ner och på din avkastning du får träffa dem igen när de går tillbaka till sin destination. Färjan till Cozumel är en annan 2 minuters promenad längre ner till stranden. Ett konkret måste är en dagsutflykt över till Cozumel att göra mer shopping eller njuta av snorkling eller dykning expeditioner.

Efter en hektisk dag kan du koppla av med din dryck val på vår egen balkong med utsikt över poolen. Från balkongen ser du den 4: e tee gröna välkända Hard Rock Golf Course.

Våra sommargäster kommer att uppleva flockar av färgglada gröna papegojor flyger genom träden. När vintern närmar sig de huvudet ännu längre söderut till sina vinter reträtt i Amazonas djungler.

Hur tar vi oss till denna spännande plats?
De två lättaste sätten att nå Rosa Blanca från flygplatsen i Cancun är:
1) Om du är en "nybörjare" till området, det är en tjänst som du kan ringa i förväg och förboka ett fordon (typiskt en van) med chaufför. Så snart du avslutar terminalen i Cancún, kommer föraren av bolaget stå med en skylt med ditt namn på det. Han kommer att driva du rätt till en parkeringsplats på Rosa Blanca. Kostnaden är $ 50. 00 US en väg, väl använda pengar. Denna tjänst kommer också plocka upp dig på Rosa Blanca och ta dig tillbaka till flygplatsen samt för samma summa.
2) Om du är en veteran på området, eftersom du avslutar utanför Cancun flygplats, sväng höger och gå med ditt bagage ner till den sista parkeringsraden (35-40 varv ungefär). Leta efter ADO Bus kiosk. Det kostar $ 12. 00 USD per person och buss driver dig till de viktigaste bussterminalen på 5th Ave. Därifrån måste du ta en taxi till Rosa Blanca som kostar $ 5 - $ 8, beroende på din förhandlingsteknik.

First time in Playa del Carmen - Great vacation!

We were a bit skeptical at the beginning as we saw many properties and never been in Playa del Carmen before. Now we can say we were totally satisfied of the choice we made. The apartment was great, comfortable and had all we needed. Also appreciated the fountain with potable water which allowed to save so much plastic...We liked the community the condo is situated (Playacar) as it offered a quit and restful space out of the confusion on the nearby 5th street! at the same time 5th street was very close and accessible! We met the property manager who was very kind in providing information when he met us the second day. We would definitely consider this property again should we decide to return to Play del Carmen! Thank you Debra and Brian!

Fantastic Stay at Casa Guacamaya!

We had an extraordinary time at Casa Guacamaya! What we LOVED:- plumbed in high quality filtered water. So convenient and makes it feel more like our Canadian home when we can drink water directly from a tap. - the Ninja coffee maker, air fryer and cook top - we used all of them on a daily basis and it kept things simple for meals - also they were brands that we are familiar with and this made it feel like home.- the incredibly comfortable king sized bed. - the views! The patio has great views of the golf course, the pool and surrounding trees. It was stunning. (There is an orange iguana that puts on a show all day long in the tree tops!)- the location was very good- the internet worked well- having laundry in the suite was an appreciated luxury that we didn't even know we wanted. To be able to wash our bathing suits at the end of a long day was amazing- the home is so incredibly well equipped. I always worry about a beach umbrella and they had one, they also had a cart to haul your groceries, a change of sheets and towels, and much more. It was awesome!In addition to the home itself - the concierge (Bernardo) was very responsive. He reached out when he said he would, arranged our transport from the Cancun airport and met us at the home to give us the keys. He accommodated a few other requests and we appreciated his top notch professional service. Overall, Casa Guacamaya exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommend!

Great Location with Beautiful Pool

Our family spent a week in this condo and really enjoyed it. The pool is beautiful and was never crowded. It is close the the action, yet quite. We were able to walk to 5th Ave for meals and entertainment. The beds were comfortable and the condo had a cozy and happy vibe. We're happy to have stayed there vs a resort.

Tasteful decor and comfortable.

Check in was easy. Good communication with the property manager. And everything worked well. Location, showers, pool, patio furniture, and all of the normal Amenities such as plates, cooking items, etc. I would stay there again - that’s the highest rating I can give.

What a great experience! A small condo with a very friendly atmosphere.

The condo is on the top third floor so very breezy and light. We loved the large pool and everyone was genuinely friendly to us. Mostly owners this time of year but we had the pleasure of meeting other Canadian renters while here, even from our own city. The condo has all you might need and more, the owners have thought of everything, we used the pool floats every day and the shopping carts are fantastic to take for groceries. Easy 15 minute walk to get groceries and another 12 to the ocean and beaches of Playacar, 5th is a quick 5 minute walk. We plan to be back, this is a safe and secure area, never felt otherwise while down here since January.

Wonderful Place to Stay!!

Pretty much everything about our experience staying at this property was wonderful...from the thorough and timely communication with the property owner leading up to our trip to the easy check-in and check-out process and everything in between. The condo complex is in a great location relative to all of the amenities of the area and it is very well maintained and secure. The stores, the beach, 5th Avenue and more were all a short and pleasant walk away which made needing a car unnecessary except for any longer excursions. The pool was pristine and was cleaned and maintained daily and the grounds are gorgeously landscaped with an abundance of birds and wildlife. The condo itself was very clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed to have a comfortable two week stay that felt like a tropical home away from home! The other residents and property owners that we met during our stay were very nice, welcoming and helpful with the only exception being the owners across the hallway who were cordial but always had a air of suspicion and never seemed to warm up to our presence like all the others. As long as we followed all of the rules and definitely didn’t hang our towels over our balcony like we were warned about 😊 all was well though. We absolutely loved our time at Rosa Blanca and will most definitely return many times in the future!!

Awesome Location

My sister and I rented this two bedroom condo for a month. The condo's 2 bedrooms each have their own bathrooms and have perfect queen size beds. I'm a journal writer and so loved that there was a small desk in each bedroom. The balcony was great for our early morning coffee, as well as our evening margarita routines. The kitchen was ok, not the best for cook lovers but that just promoted lots of exploring for great inexpensive restaurants. TIP: try to get off 5 ave to eat as most are a total rip-off. There are sooo many delicious places to eat in Playa. We liked that the condo was in a safe central location, no more than a 10-20 min walk to tons of restaurants and shopping, and only 10-15 min walk to a fantastic beach. Each morning I power walked around the golf course which our condo backed on to. The walk ways had lots of morning joggers so I always felt safe. The weather for the month we were there was good, but not great however we did a lot more venturing into nearby towns which turned out to very fun. Be sure to go to Valladolid, a sweet Spanish city.... the Yerba Buena del Sisal is worth searching out for an awesome lunch. (look at Lonely Planet for other great places). There was quite a bit of wind when we were there so we ended up using the pool quite often. It's a great pool with chairs, umbrellas etc. All in all, this clean, colourful condo was perfect for us. Casa Blanca Playacar

Smooth process in renting. Once the payment was processed I was connected via email with the owner. The owner was very good with communication. The owner was very good in providing details about the area and the property. The condo was exactly as listed. Very clean and the Mexican decor was my favorite. Typically response was within 24hrs. Playacar is a wonderful location if you want a more relaxed location but yet close enough to hustle and bustle of 5th Ave and the beaches in Playa del Carmen. The condo was centrally located to the main entrance of Playacar as there are 4 entrances. If you want to stock up on water chips etc you have many options. If your Into staying fit you can walk everywhere. By the end of the day you can hop a cab. Security is serious in Playacar. You don’t get in unless you show your security card. There are many more good things to say about Playacar. The negative that I have is about the property management. I was told someone would meet me upon arrival. No one was there. I had to call when I arrived at the condo. When Jesse the property manager arrived I felt she rushed walking me thru the unit. I was told I had to provide my own toilet paper once the two roles provided ran out. Very strange. Dish detergent was in a container no larger than the size of a tube you get in a hotel. Clearly if your doing dishes this would not be enough. I was told not to use excessive electricity. There is a fee. It is noted in the rental agreement. As I mentioned you need a security card to enter Playacar. If you have more than one member in your party this is clearly an issue if your not always together. I had to inquire about getting another pass for my adult son. I was told they only issue one card. This is an inconvenience. The property manager told us to leave the unit key in the lock box to go in an out. While I stated it was very safe I would never leave the only key to the unit in a box located outside of the condo. I finally was able to obtain a wrist band from security. A small fee was paid. This in my opinion should be part of the checkin process. The property manager should ask how many people in your party would need access to Playacar. I’ve been renting in Playa del Carmen and Cozumel for 25 years. This is the first time I’ve ever had any of these type of issues with a property manager. Shopping for toilet paper is not on my vacation list. There is no cleaning service.

Quiet and Relaxing...

I have travelled to Playa del Carmen for many years, usually staying in centro. This year, I decided to try to find something quieter, still close, but not right in the hustle and noise of 5th Avenue. This place turned out to be just what I was looking for! The condo is a very clean, well equipped, roomy two bedroom two bath unit on the top floor, with a balcony overlooking the pool and golf course beyond. It is on a quiet street, within a 10 minute walk to 5th Avenue, and there is a great French bakery for morning croissants and lattes, and a convenience store, about a 5 minute walk away. The owners were super responsive and helpful with tips and advice. The condo is not on the beach, but it can be accessed with a short walk. If being right on the beach is not a concern, and you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place, which still offers easy access to the shopping, restaurants and activities of 5th avenue and area, I definitely would recommend this place.

Excellent location and unit!

This unit is in an excellent location. Just inside Playa Car, so it’s easy to get to and from. An easy walk to 5th Ave, restaurants, markets and the beach. Vey clean unit in a great little development. Great pool and nice neighbors. The owners were very quick and accommodating with communicating. And gave many great suggestions

Beautiful and relaxing

We stayed at this lovely condo with another couple. The two bedrooms with ensuites were fantastic. The kitchen is very well laid out and even came with a juicer, which was perfect at margarita time. It is very well located, away from the noise of 5th Avenue but only a10 minute walk from most everything. All in all it made for a wonderful vacation.

We loved our stay in this penthouse suite.

The property was well maintained and in an excellent location! It is located in the quiet gated community Playa Car Phase 2. We walked everywhere! The pool was fabulous, and we spent a lot of time there as the seaweed on the beach was not as inviting... Many of the people renting were 'regulars' as once you've stayed here, you know you have found the perfect place! The owners and renters were all very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We had personal emails from the owners before we arrived detailing places to eat at, exchange money, and all the extras that were available for our use while staying at their beautiful condo. We enjoyed a fully stocked kitchen and a BBQ for when we cooked our own meals. The beautiful palapas covered deck looked out onto the pool and gardens as well as the golf course. The birds and wildlife that visited everyday kept us entertained. Grocery stores and many excellent restaurants are nearby. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms make this an ideal spot to rent with another couple!

Perfect!!!

The Rogers’ condo was absolutely perfect for us! The condo had almost all the conveniences of home and is centrally located that we could get anywhere we needed to with no problem. We have visited Playa many times, and stayed in different condos... and this by far was one of our favorites. Being on the third floor allowed us to open the doors and enjoy the beeeze daily, and at night we only needed the ceiling fans. I think we only used the a/c twice during our 2 week stay. The condo was clean and bright, the cleaning staff that came twice during our stay was fantastic... thorough and professional. The pool (which was well maintained and clean) is large enough to accommodate the regular tenants, their guests and the renters. Many days there were 15+ people in/around the pool, but it never felt over-crowded. The condo owners (Debra) kept in touch with us from the time we booked, right through our last day of our stay. She bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and comfortable... very accommodating! We would definitely stay at this condo again and would recommend it to our friends and family!

Wonderful place to stay for our 50th Anniversary!

The place was just as listed. All the amenities of home plus a pleasant surprise from the owners, Debra and Brian. We booked for our 50th Anniversary and upon arrival there was a beautiful flower arrangement, bottle of champagne and a wonderful card from them. Close to everything including grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and beaches. José from the management team was very informative in regards to nearby things to see and do. The pool was quiet as we were the only ones there using it and therefore felt like our own private place. Excellent places to eat were The Mission for seafood and Mexican dishes and the Brazilian restaurant called Bovinos. Debra and Brian were very accommodating and helpful whenever we contacted them for information. They recommended our shuttle service which were there on time both upon arrival and departure. Very happy to have found this wonderful place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well kept and centrally located place that is quiet and great for 2 couples. Thank you again Debra and Brian for giving us a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary.

Very nice place!

Our stay at casa guacamaya was very pleasant, the condo is very clean and well maintained. Everything you need is there! The view on the pool and golf course is great and the pool itself was great to have in the super warm weather. Everything is walkable distance... main streets, beach, supermarkets. The owner was very responsive and helpful all the way through. The welcome bag with snacks and beverages was very appreciated. Thank you Debra!

Fantastic as always! Paradise!

The was our second visit to this wonderful condo at the Rosa Blanca Condominio Complex in Playa del Carmen. We were fortunate enough to stay for 4 weeks of pure paradise! All the previous reviews, including our own, sum it up perfectly. The unit is bright and cheerful. You will have everything you need waiting for you. We especially appreciated the propane bbq and the wonderful shopping carts! The pool is amazing. The grounds are well kept. There simply isn't anything to dislike about this 3rd floor home away from home! Grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants etc. are all within walking distance. We loved it and highly recommend it! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and providing us with another memorable vacation Debra & Brian! 🌞😎👍

Perfect Location!

This condo is just as beautiful as the pictures. It is bright, spacious and immaculately maintained and truly has everything you could want or need while on vacation. We took advantage of the propane BBQ on more than one occasion and the kitchen is well equipped, literally down to a crock pot which we also took advantage of…who doesn’t like coming home after a long day to dinner made in advance? As for location, for us it was perfect; it was a short walk to Playa Del Carmen, grocery stores, Sam’s Club, City Club, shopping, beach etc.. The yard was very well maintained, and had a, clean, large pool to come home to at the end of the day. There are a couple of very reasonable restaurants very close to the condo if you don’t want to cook, including Luke & Lara’s, Casa Sophia just to name a couple. During our stay, we took the local transit system (colectivo & ADO) on multiple occasions to visit the Coba Ruins, Tulum Beach, Turtle Bay, Akumal Beach, Yal-ku Lagoon (very safe snorkeling for a child I would say), Isla Morelos where we rented Golf Carts and toured the island, Playa Punta Esmeralda beach (natural cenote, shallow for kids), the local beach(es) including Mamita’s beach, plus the condo has an access card to the Reef Club (short 20 minute walk), where we could use the beach chairs and pool (at no cost, total bonus!) Our hosts/owners Brian & Debra are always available to answer any questions, as was the concierge. Truly they have supplied everything you need for a wonderful vacation! I would, and have already recommended this location / property to our friends/family and thank you for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us.

Great apartment very well located

We loved Rosa Blanca apartment! The apartment was freshly renovated with brand new furniture. You really feel like at home. The location is great. You can walk to the beach, to the Reef (one of the resort you have access to) and to Quinta Avenida! We also loved the pool! There are a few other apartments for short-term rental in the building so we could meet other parents and other kids, great fun. Another positive point is Jose Luis, the concierge, he was always joinable. Any problem or question we could give him a call and he was responding very quickly. Next time we are planning a trip to Playa Del Carmen we will certainly try booking Rosa Blanca again.

A piece of paradise

Everything exactly as discribed. Concierge service impeccable and cleaning crew very good.Would recommend to all my family and friends. Owners Brian and Debra are always available to answer all questions. Greatest vacation ever. Normand and Michele.

Lovely Playa Condo!

Fantastic Place! Bright and spacious! 3rd floor 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo overlooking golf course from rear balcony. Big pool to enjoy. Rear balcony has comfortable furniture. Kitchen is well equipped and we really enjoyed using the propane BBQ! Great TV with many viewing options. High speed internet. Everything is within walking distance. From grocery shopping to restaurants to the beach...everything is close by. Helpful grocery cart was great! Weekly maid service and helpful concierge is a real plus. Owners always available to assist via email. Everything you need to make this a home away from home! We liked it so much we have already booked our next stay! We think that says it all!

Fabulous Playa Condo

What a gem! 3rd floor - 2 bedroom condo offers a beautiful view from the balcony - overlooking the golf course and the pool - Balcony furniture is comfortable and plentiful. The condo amenities are second to none! the well equipped kitchen was delightful - we appreciated the BBQ as well. The condo has comfortable furniture, new beds and bedding in each of the 2 bedrooms,large bathrooms, lots of storage space and closets, high speed internet and internet TV. The owners were available by email to answer questions and our concierge was always available as well. Weekly maid service is efficient and a real bonus! Shopping for groceries at major grocery stores was easy and the use of the grocery cart was a definite benefit. We walked everywhere from this well located condo - lots of restaurants are within a 10-15 minute walk. Beach chairs and an umbrella made the afternoons at the beach ( short walk away) very enjoyable. We made this our home away from home and are sorry to leave.

Excellent condo

Family of 4 , we stayed 3 weeks at Xmas. Great location, 15 min walk to the best beach in Playa. Condo has been renovated by owners, very modern. Kitchen has everything you can possibly use, best equipped we have seen yet. Pool is very nice, view to south from 3rd floor balcony is lovely with many large trees and birds. Cross flow of air thru the unit was so good you will not need A/C . Victor the concierge was very helpful and owners will answer any questions by email you need to know. Great people !

In our search for the perfect winter getaway we were introduced to Playa Del Carmen and specifically Playacar by friends of ours.
Although we love the activities of biking, hiking and skiing in the mountains, we love walking and snorkeling in the lovely blue green waters of the Caribbean.

We searched for several years with various real estate agents finding that perfect location in Playa Del Carmen. However, after renting from Rose Blanca owners in the previous years we knew that Rosa Blanca ticked all the boxes on our wish list. Security, closeness to 5th avenue and walking distance to shopping and to the beautiful Mayan beach.
We couldn't believe it when in 2014 the opportunity became true that we could actually own a condo and a Penthouse nevertheless.

What can we say. Location, Location, Location!! Rosa Blanca is absolutely in the best location for walking to all amenities. 5th Avenue is close enough to walk to and enjoy the foods and beverages yet far enough away to enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness Rosa Blanca condo's has to offer.
In our search for the perfect condo we found - No other pool compared in size and accessibility as the one here in Rosa Blanca.
