Översikt
En varm, trädgårdsstuga inbäddad i en grotta i hjärtat av Manitou. Denna renoverade boutiquestuga (320 kvadratfot) går från 1896 och ligger några sekunder till källor, kaféer, affärer, stigar och spa. Nest är ett halvt kvarter från Manitou Avenue men förvånansvärt privat och det är omgivet av naturen.

Layout
Stugan har tre rum - ett sovrum, ett vardagsrum med angränsande pentry och ett 3/4 badrum.

Sovrum
En fullstor minnesskumsäng i ett separat sovrum ger stor komfort och avskildhet. Baseboardvärme (dedikerad och justerbar) ställer in rummet på din mest bekväma sömntemperatur. Sovrummet har en dörr som öppnar till en uteservering bakom stugan. Rummet har TV, DVD-spelare och DVD-samling samt hyllor för klädförvaring.

Vardagsrum
Vardagsrummet är utrustat med en Jotul gasuppvärmningsugn, en sektionssoffa med slutbord, en rund och en cirkulär träbordssoffa med två stolar. Rummet är perfekt för loungning, och soffan, i vilken en del lyfter upp för förvaring blir en queen-size säng för ytterligare en vuxen gäst eller två barn.

Kokvrå
Pentryet gränsar till vardagsrummet. Den har ett halvstor kylskåp, brödrost, mikrovågsugn och dubbelt handfat, elektrisk vattenpanna, fransk press, alla nödvändiga tallrikar, muggar och redskap. Gasspisens topp fungerar som förutrymme, men kan användas för ugnens toppkokning om / vid behov.

Njut av den intima miljön i trädgården, med kalkstenstolar och uteplatser, både framför stugan och i en naturtäck av sovrummet. Solljus strålar in i stugan genom fönster på alla sidor och genom ett takfönster över duschen. Solfilterande persienner och en gasspis är perfekta för de dagar då du bara vill krullas upp i en mjuk, varm filt och läsa medan du dricker varmt te.

Cozy and Quiet

A weekend away spent up the hill from a few of our favorite places to eat and a 10 minute walk to the incline/barr trail. The host was wonderful and responsive, we enjoyed the hot tub and the fact it felt secluded while being right in town. The space is inviting and the bed was really comfortable for being small. My husband is 6’4 and I’m 5’10, so we did have to duck under the doors as it’s an older building with around 6ft door frames, but for the price and convenience of walking Manitou we would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

Cozy and Convenient

Very comfortable and the hot tub area was really cute. Walking distance to shops. It was perfect for me and my two kids, but I bet it would also be great for a couple’s getaway. I would definitely stay here again.

Great spot for a short trip

This little place was cozy and perfect for a getaway! It has everything you need and the hot tub is great. The location feels very secluded, but it’s less that two blocks from the heart of downtown Manitou. I only got my car out once in four days and just walked everywhere. The hosts were very communicative and checked in to make sure I had what I needed.

Honeymoon in the Shire

We came here the day after our LotR themed wedding and when we arrived, it felt like we stepped right into a Tolkien novel. The lil cottage was about perfect and all rules were clear upon entering. We were a few minute walk away from the shops and I loved that. I strongly recommend anyone stay here is your can, and if we find ourselves in the area again, while I’d love to see the other property I’d be more than happy to stay in the Nest again.

Cozy cottage

The Nest was the cuttest cottage with a private hot tub for 2 in all of Manitou Springs! It was the perfect weekend getaway location for my Sisterfriend and me. We were able to walk to downtown in minutes. Once there, you'll absolutely fallin love with the town and the people. if you're looking for a place to stay in the Manitou Springs area, this charming, cute little cottage could be just the place you're looking for!

This was a great place to stay for our weekend getaway to CO. Location was great and parking was easy and your just down the street from plenty to eat and things to do. Hot tub was secluded and very clean. Everything was clean and well kept. Thank y’all so much for the hospitality.

Wonderful Stay at The Nest

My best friend and I had a wonderful girls weekend at The Nest. The space is perfect for two. We loved the patio area and soaking in the hot tub under the stars. Walking distance to downtown was a bonus! We'll be back!

Wedding prep and mini honeymoon

Adorable small house, the women in my wedding party got ready here throughout the morning and my new husband and I stayed here after the wedding. Because it's so small, some amenities were hard to find in various nooks, but the hosts were perfect and helpful with everything!

Perfect little spot for a weekend getaway. Everything you could possibly need was provided for us and the location was just steps away from downtown Manitou Springs. And coffee just tastes better at 6400 feet!

Great couples retreat

The Nest is perfectly located in Manitou Springs. We were able to walk anywhere downtown within a few minutes. The hot tub was great. Note: Use caution when entering and exiting the parking area if you have a full-size truck or SUV as to not hit the garage overhang. We didn't have any issues, just worth mentioning so you won't either.

Great Weekend Getaway

We are a retired couple who had cabin fever and needed a quick getaway. We chose Manitou Springs, which was not too far from Cotopaxi, Co. We booked the "Nest", because it was only a block from main street, and had a free shuttle to ride the COG to Pike's Peak and back. This was a very great choice on our part!! The cabin was very well decorated and very quaint for just the 2 of us. We had to only use our car twice, once to get there and to leave! Everything was so close. The bed was super comfortable for a great night sleep, The hosts were amazing and provided everything we needed without us asking! We actually did all our Christmas shopping at all the great stores!! We truly recommend the "Nest" not only it's such a super cute place, but because the hosts were top notched in every way! P.S. The wine was delicious!! Thank You! Richard & Carol Ann Jenkins
