De Taiga House - inspirerande utsikt över bergen vid kanten av Denali National Park

Taiga House ligger i skogen strax norr om Denali National Park. När en rymlig B & B som kallas "The Grand View" har blivit omgjord till en familj hem med två semesterbostäder. Våra tre sovrum, andra våningen bostad fäst, men privat, med en ingång och gården den egna, fantastisk utsikt över lokala bergen landskap och riklig charm. Det sover sex, med 2 queen sängar och en bäddsoffa med rulla säng under, badrum, rymligt vardagsrum / matsal och fullt utrustat kök samt en tvättmaskin / torktumlare.
Det finns en bar-b-que grill, picknickbord, eldstaden och fantastisk vildmark precis utanför dörren.
Det finns restauranger, en brygga pub och små livsmedelsbutiker bara en tio minuters promenad ner trail, eller en två minuters bilresa bort, och många fler restauranger, barer och butiker tolv miles söder i den livliga turistområde kallas Glitter Gulch utanför ingången till Denali Park.

Since the place is on the second level you get an amazing view. We left Denali early one day due to SNOW on May 31 and picked up dinner and just sat at the table for hours talking and enjoying the view. The host are great and the place was perfect for us!

The house was great! We really appreciated the bear spray and bug spray. Super clean, super confident for the park. Lots of parking. We also loved the dogs! Part of our group saw a mom moose and a baby moose. Thanks so much!

The home is very well laid out, spacious, clean and the hosts were responsive. The views are nice, the parking is convenient and we had a great stay. The laundry was easy and ready to go. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked quite a bit. The coffee they provided was great. We saw moose from the windows and the beds are quite comfortable.

The host was very nice and responsive. The view from the home was incredible - plus there was the bonus of a moose walking through the yard. The home is only about 20 minutes to Denali National Park. There were plenty of towels and kitchen supplies available and it was convenient to the local grocery store and gas station.

We were very comfortable, the location was great, close to town but away from the hustle and bustle. The wildlife was fun to watch. We have no complaints and would recommend to anyone. Would not recommend to anyone who has issues with stairs. Thank you Todd and Julie for a fabulous 3 days!

Beautiful sceney and very comfortable place to stay, only a short drive to Denali entrance and 49th st brewery. We saw a moose and her baby by the road to the house. We loved every minute of our stay.

Location is great for possible wildlife viewing. House was quiet and has great views of the mountains. Very close to Denali and places for gas, groceries, and restaurants. I would recommend staying here.

Our stay at The Taiga House was amazing. We were greeted by Todd on arrival. His kindness and enthusiasm was infectious. Our kids said he was the coolest person and it really made our stay special. The view from the house makes you feel like you’re living in a painting. It was so cool. The Taiga House was perfect for our family of 6. Todd and Julie made us feel like we were family visiting for a few days. We have stayed at many properties and The Taiga house was the most special place we have stayed at. Mahalo, Todd and Julie!

Wonderful stay! Owners are so nice and friendly. View and setting are wonderful! Cabin is well stocked. Nice peaceful trail behind the place too! We also loved the friendly dogs.

Great property and location! Comfortable and roomy for our party of 6. We loved sitting outside and soaking in the scenery. Close to all we wanted to do and close to good food option (Totem in and 49th state Brewery) Highly highly recommend. PS - visits from the goodest dogs were a bonus

The Taiga House is owned by Todd and Julie Shorey. Todd travelled to Alaska in 1986 and discovered the wonders of Denali National Park and the warmth of the people of the Interior, and never left. He has worked as a tour guide in the summer sun, and a carpenter on many Denali projects through out the winter months. Julie is a life long Alaskan, who grew up just down the road in Cantwell. Our family enjoys salmon fishing, hiking in Denali, picking and eating the seasonal berries, and the winter sports of ice hockey and skiing. Life is good for us here in Healy, and we look forward to sharing our mountain view home with you, and our knowledge of the Alaskan Interior.

Our family purchased this house and six acres of property in 2011 as we moved north from McKinley Village, and instantly fell in love with the open landscape that flows from the south door to the Mountains of Denali Park. As a family we have worked together to create a home, as well as guest spaces for visitors to enjoy. We are sure you'll agree that our location is ideal for your once in a lifetime Alaskan experience.

Our rental has wonderful mountain views and instant wilderness access, while still being at the edge of town. It is a great home base for your adventures into Denali, a wonderful location to take a morning trail walk with a cup of coffee, and an inviting space to simply relax and enjoy the view.
