I juni har konstruktionen på Kahana Reef's Sea Wall återupptagits och planeras vara klar i slutet av året. Som ett resultat kommer det att ske byggnadsarbeten på fastigheten, och det kan leda till byggnadsbrus på morgonen och hinder för utsikten från området i närheten av simbassängerna och slutet på slutet av året på andra sidan. Vi håller våra priser extremt låga för att återspegla eventuella besvär som detta kan orsaka våra gäster!

Denna mysiga lilla lägenhet är perfekt belägen bara 60 meter från kanten av havet med panoramautsikt över både Lanai och Molokai! Du kan titta på valar och havssköldpaddor medan du smuttar på ditt morgonkaffe direkt från bordet på lanai, eller du kan utforska området med front Street i Lahaina, Whaler's Village i Kaanapali och den högst rankade stranden i hela USA, Kapalua Bay Stranden, bara 5-15 minuter bort !!

I april 2019 avslutade vi några bra förbättringar inklusive en helt ny kungmadrass i sovrummet, total kök ombyggnad med alla nya apparater, ny queen size bäddsoffa med minne skum madrass, vackra vinylgolv, och vi tycker resultaten är fantastiska!

Om du vill bo nära hemmet kan du välja mellan poolen, gräsmattestolarna längs havsväggen eller vårt eget lilla lugna sandstrandområde norr om byggnadskomplexet för att koppla av, eller så kan du använda lägenheten som din startplatta för alla fantastiska platser att utforska på ön!

Köket är fullt utrustat, och samhällsgrillen är också tillgänglig för din användning precis till höger om vår enhet !!

Vi har badlakan, solstolar, förolämpad islåda, boogiebrädor och snorklar tillgängliga för din användning !!

Denna lägenhet har varit i vår familj i mer än 18 år, så vare sig det är en familjesemester eller en romantisk tillflyktsort, hoppas vi att du kommer att vara vår gäst och njuta av en underbar tid på den vackra ön Maui !!

Kahana Stay

The unit had an amazing oceanfront view. We enjoyed the patio and lawn for daily sunsets. We loved the quick and easy access to the grounds being on the ground floor. We saw so many turtles everyday. The beach out front isn't very swimmable, but a further walk along the path leads to a pretty secluded beach. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. No AC, but we kept the windows and doors open, and the trade winds kept it fairly cool. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and even snorkels (we did not use) provided. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location. I booked several condos on the west side for my grown children as we were attending my daughter's wedding. My son 2 sons and their wives stayed here. They really enjoyed the pool and it was right on the ocean!

Comfortable unit with amazing views!

This unit was comfortable for my husband and I. We loved sitting on a lounger under the palm trees and listening to the waves. We snorkeled right in front of our unit and swam with turtles, it was magical! We found enough places nearby to eat and driving to lahaina was not that far of a drive!

Throw a line out, you're that close to the water!

Condo is nice with breathtaking views! It's nearly impossible to be any closer to the water!Enjoyed watching the turtles and the shark's fishing near the shore!Helpful hands for future travelers, the coffee maker is a Kurig, so be prepare your shopping accordingly. Consider your expectations as disclosed no AC, so it can be hot and humid. Absolutely, we would consider staying here again!

Lovely Location

There are a good number of positives about this property. The location can't be beat, the views are amazing, and the condo's quaintness made for a great experience. The towels were fresh and new, and the bedding was very clean overall. The kitchen is well stocked, and the fridge has an icemaker, which helps keep those beverages cold. We saw numerous sea turtles, rainbows, and beautiful sunsets. The downside of this property is that the bathroom and the condo itself need a deep clean. The bathroom is older, which a person can deal with. However, it was not clean.

Lovely first floor unit with unbeatable views. Very comfortable master bed along with plenty of kitchen necessities. By far the warmest pool we have ever experience. That was a great surprise. Easy parking and excellent proximity to food options galore. Thank you!

This is the place!

My wife and I spent a week at this beautiful condo. The condo decor and accommodation are fabulous! As far as the location (especially on the ground floor), it was the BEST experience ever! You're able to open the sliding door and enjoy the ocean view, sounds, and breeze. There is no AC, and it was not needed with the cross breeze moving through the condo. The location is exactly what we needed. Not too close to the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas but still close enough to drive to. One huge plus, we were able to see Whales, dolphins, and tortoises, from the back deck. The owners graciously have binoculars to use along with snorkel gear. This condo rental will be our number-one choice for future Maui vacations. Needless to say, super happy with our condo choice!

I hesitated when I saw that it was a ground floor unit, but pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It’s a private area with an excellent view of the water which really is 60 feet away from your patio. China Boat is a restaurant across the street which we had takeout from and ate on our patio and it was excellent. The accommodations were magnificent. They really do have a gem on Maui.

Great location

Older property but great location and view! We loved our stay and plan to return. Very convenient and close to the main tourist areas but we looked forward to getting back to our room, and view, each day after activities. Having snorkel gear, and beach chairs was a plus. No A/C was a concern but the ocean breeze flowing thru the unit very nice!

Great place in Maui. The room is oceanfront on ground floor. No direct beach access due to rocky area, but you can walk to nearby beaches if desired. I'd stay here again.

Great location.

Loved this location. Plenty of great beaches & plenty of great restaurants in the area. Saw turtles almost daily. Loved having the beach chairs & snorkeling gear as well as a small cooler on hand. Chocolates on arrival a nice touch. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 is that it’s slightly outdated & a little on the warm side with no air conditioner. Fan was provided. There is a self pay laundry station just out the door. We would book here again. Great communication with the hosts.

This cozy little spot beautifully overlooking the Hawaiian Islands of Lanai and Molokai has been in our family for 18 years, purchased the year my husband and I got married. My parents, Dave and Sandy, mainly used it as a winter retreat seeking a reprieve from the cold winters of Northern Idaho.
After my Dad’s passing in 2017, we began to consider how best to manage it for the future. Makana is the Hawaiian word for gift. The Hawaiian Islands were very special to both my parents, but my dad especially really loved it here. Being able to keep this beautiful spot in our family feels like a gift that he has left behind for his kids, his grandkids, and I hope his great grandkids!

Varför värden valde detta boende

You can’t spend 5 minutes on the Hawaiian islands without recognizing what a incredible gift this beautiful island is to it’s occupants and many visitors. Makana at Kahana Reef, or the gift at Kahana Reef, reflects our thankfulness to God for blessing us with such a gift in His vibrant creation so apparent as you listen to the bird song, smell the fragrance of all the different varieties of flowers, watch the whales breaching just off the shores, and on and on as you wander through this incredible island.
My dad was a retired law Enforcement officer for the U.S. Forest Service. You’ll find ‘his’ coffee cup in the cupboards! If you use it, consider sending up a quick prayer for your local law enforcement community! :0)
On a practical note, we have just finished major renovations of the Condo this past April 2019. We plan to finish next year by completing the bathroom makeover, new flooring in the bedroom, new ceiling, and tiling on the lanai. We hope you enjoy the improvements, and appreciate your understanding that there are still some parts of the condo with some character left from the old days! :0) Also, as some of our first guests, please let us know how we might better equip the condo to make it a even more enjoyable stay! If there is something we missed, we’d love to hear about it!

The best thing in our opinion about this condo is it's location!! The Ocean is your front yard, with so many places to enjoy right on location, but Kahana is also a incredible location for seeing some of the most beautiful parts of Maui!!
