Beautiful view home

One of the best homes we have stayed in. Kitchen had everything you needed. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our family and it worked out great. The owners were wonderful.

Always a pleasure to stay here!

We always love staying here when we come out to Hood River for the Salmon Season. The owners are very friendly people, who are great with communication and are super helpful if I have any questions. I would recommend this place to anyone! Everyone who was part of our group was totally impressed with the home and the million dollar view of the Columbia River Gorge.

Spacious Home, Spectacular Gorge View with a Vineyard!

This home and location was awesome. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and our family stayed at this stunning property. The home is so spacious, each area, there is room for everyone. The kitchen, living areas and master bathroom are enormous and so cool and contemporary. The owner has thought of everything, we wanted for nothing. So many homey touches! Walls of windows make for spectacular expansive views of Hood River and overlooking this working vineyard was breathtaking. The owner is perfectly communicative and to notch. We would rent here again in a minute and appreciated everything about this well situated and set up place. Thanks for the opportunity to stay!

Great home with stunning views.

We stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful home. Its in the middle of an active vineyard and has stunning views of the river gorge and surrounding mountains from pretty much any room in the house. Would definitely recommend.

The BEST

This home is outstanding in every way! The views are breathtaking - we woke up early each morning so we wouldn't miss the sunrise. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need for hosting and the thoughtful touches are everywhere. Comfort abounds- beds, seating, the fireplace! The ping pong table was also a hit with our crew. Sarah was incredibly accommodating, easy to contact and so very kind! I loved everything about this stay.

Amazing view and a beautiful house

An amazing place for a family reunion. You cannot appreciate the view from the pictures and the house was spotless. Kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and tool. Beds were VERY comfortable. We had 16 and 18 year old cousins, and 93 year old grampa as well as a couple in between and all were able to find things to do from wine tasting to hiking and biking. Relaxing at the house was great too. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Gorge Home

This home will not disappoint! Fantastic quiet location with an incredible view of the Columbia River, Mt Hood and Hood River. The home itself is very spacious and clean. A large well equipped high end kitchen with plenty of room to entertain, four bedrooms each with it's own bathroom/shower, a large private patio area with a BBQ and table, and a large front patio with an outdoor sofa and that fantastic view! We spend most of our time in the kitchen/living room enjoying the view from the large widows throughout or outside sipping coffee or wine on the front patio. The Host Sarah is incredibly nice and attentive to any needs or questions you have. There are several wineries very close by to go wine tasting at and it's fairly close to Hood River with lots of great restaurants and activities. Bring cash for the toll bridge ($2). We will definitely be back to this amazing home!

Gorgeous

Stunning home in a stunning location. Communication with the owners was super easy. The home has four bedrooms, all en-suites. The home is all on one level. Everything is top quality, from the appliances to the cookware to the beds and towels - luxury everywhere. The view is even better than the pictures. Huge views of the Columbia and you can see the top of Mt Hood. There are tons of hiking trails nearby. Hood River and White Salmon are both sweet towns with great food options. We are looking forward to coming back.

The house and property were spectacular! Not a bad view in the house, and it was quiet and comfortable. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful. We loved the comfortable mattresses and the well stocked kitchen. We can’t wait to stay again!

Fabulous

The home is just as described but the views are even more amazing than the pictures show. Everything worked beautifully; appliances are top of the line, beds are excellent, lots of extra high-quality towels, comforters, etc. Communication with Sarah couldn’t have been easier. All four bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms and everything is on one level. White Salmon and Hood River are both charming towns. We highly recommend this gorgeous home if you’re looking for a luxurious space for your group.

Wow! Just Wow

We stayed here as the launch pad to celebrate our sons wedding weekend. The home was perfect for us. We were a complete mix of ages 23-60 and everyone loved it. One small glitch at the start was quickly solved by Sarah our gracious host. Oh, what a view to wake up to!!!!

Absolutely Beautiful

This home is absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect place for our annual family trip. So spacious for us all, our adult children, and their families. The views are stunning, the rooms are large and it is so great to each have our own bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked and all the thoughtful little touches makes this home…. Feel like home. We would love to have the opportunity to rent this home again and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay.

Wonderful family gathering! Together for Thanksgiving.

Plenty of room for 4 couples and 2 children. Perfect for Thanksgiving! The kitchen has 2 ovens and 2 dishwashers and a spacious kitchen for prep. The view was spectacular! Would highly recommend! Great location.

Columbia River Family Wedding Retreat

We needed a large place to stay as our daughter was getting married at the Tin Roof Barn in White Salmon. This home and the views of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River are nothing short of breathtaking. The home is very well stocked with everything needed to cook or entertain with plenty of room to spread out and plenty of privacy in each bedroom. It is easy to navigate to from the Portland area and the home itself sets isolated giving the feel you have the mountainside to yourself. It is often said that you get what you pay for and while this home is on the high side of what we usually budget for in a VRBO/AirBNB type home, it was worth every penny and more. Perfect for a large family or 3 or 4 couples.

Beautiful House & View

Our group had a wonderful time at this house for the 4th of July. The views are stunning and great for the fireworks show. This is the second time our group has stayed at this house and I expect we'll be back again!
