Heaven in the mountains

Absolutely a perfect place to stay. Larry and Sandy are wonderful host. This house is amazing, the view from the porch was awesome. Can't say enough about how great this place is. I didn't want to leave because it is so well kept.

Great place to stay for Ouray area adventures

We really enjoyed our stay here! It’s a nice cozy spot very close to Ouray which was our destination. The owners were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Wonderful spot to relax and explore the area for a family

Absolutely amazing place for a family to explore Ouray and Ridgeway. The kids loved the grass area to run around in...the onsite owners were so kind. Very clean and well appointed. I loved making dinner on the grill after hot springs days.

Cozy, peaceful cottage

This was a nice private location away from the busyness. Very comfortable and clean. Well furnished- we had everything we needed. The host was very kind and considerate. We would stay here again!

Perfect location!

Ideally situated between Ridgway and Ouray - 10 minutes or so from each. Owner was responsive to texts and gave us complete privacy. If I visit the area again, I’d stay here without hesitation.

Great location, just right!

This property was our first vrbo experience. We found it to be extra clean, very well supplied, and well managed. The views were great, and the close proximity to Ridgeway and Ouray was exactly what we wanted. Easy access. The owners were so nice. I highly recommended this place.

Lovely Guest House

Clean, quiet, cozy, and beautifully furnished. We especially enjoyed the thoughtful touches like the stocked kitchen supplies, individual toiletries, complimentary coffee, and extra blankets. Fairly easy (and very scenic!) drive to and from Telluride, between Ridgway and Ouray (as others have noted). Felt like a true mountain escape. Thank you Sandy!

Cabin with Mountain View’s

My husband and I were celebrating 30 years of marriage. We were looking for a place in a location to venture out to all the popular destinations. It was perfect as we made little trips each day to see so many beautiful places. The cabin was just as pictured and the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever encountered. The owners, Sandy and Larry live on the property and were extremely nice, as well as their beautiful lab. My husband threw her the frisbee several times and she loved it. I highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay there again.

Nice quiet cozy place to stay

The property was well taken care of, very clean, nice view of the mountains, and secluded. We were met my the owner who made us feel welcome. We enjoyed it better than some other places we have stayed with VRBO (nicer views and quieter). Couple of nitpicky things that didn't affect our stay, the screen door needed a little TLC (was hard to open until we learned how to open it easier, squeaky door into the bedroom, and ice trays that seen better days.

Great place

This is very nice place. We had absolutely everything that we needed and more. House is clean and has a garage. We had a chance to meet both Sandy and Larry which was very nice since they had great suggestions for us. Our main purpose was hiking at Ouray. We took highway 550 over the Red mountain pass and it was great experience. We hiked the Perimeter Trail at Ouray and vere very satisfied and happy to come back to such a nice place and relax in a quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay again in a heartbeat.

This property was just as pictured and felt brand new, and every need that came up the host had thought of beforehand. It was a very comfortable space for 2-4 people, with plenty of room for storing suitcases, with an entire laundry room for washing, drying, hanging towels, and a table for folding clothes or storing suitcases. The bedroom also had a second TV, plus two large closets for hanging clothes and suitcases. The kitchen was well-stocked with high-quality pots/pans/utensils/plates/etc. They provided towels for us to use at the hot springs, there was a grill and a 6-person outdoor table with an umbrella, and plenty of yard space for kids to run around in. We even had a garage to park in! We were there in the heat of early August and when cooking the space did heat up quite a bit, but there are plenty of windows to open and two room fans. The location is 5-10 minutes north of Ouray, so while the distance is not far from dining/shopping, it isn't walkable either.

Amazing experience!

We could not have had a better experience here! My husband and I drove up from Durango after our wedding and could not have asked for a better home base to explore the area. It’s only about 15 minutes from Ouray but still in beautiful country with no super close neighbors. Everything was so clean and comfortable with all the amenities we could have asked for. Larry also greeted us and gave us some great recommendations. You won’t regret staying here!

Great location and beautiful views

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect for us to go on all the outings that we had planned. We cooked dinner every night and had everything we needed available to us in the apartment. We ended up sitting outside most evenings enjoying the scenery and watching the sunset.
