We were at Solitude for a downhill mountain bike race and this condo worked well. It is not at the bottom of the bike lift but there is a path that connects this condo to the bike lift. The condo was clean and the host was friendly and responsive. iTrip manages this property and they were good to work with. The one thing I didn’t like is that they communicate through email, not the VRBO app so I was always searching for the relevant emails. Also, the top bunk in the sleeping area is only rated for 125lbs. It didn’t impact us but could if you’re traveling with a couple teenagers or multiple adults.

Perfect location

Walk to slopes, have lunch back in the condo and hit the slopes again! Amazing. Manager seems to be on 24/7! Very responsive to questions and needs.

Great location

Unit was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils as well as the basics (oil, spices, salt, pepper). Towel bar in the bathroom is missing and would be helpful to be replaced.

Beautiful condo close to everything. The condo was very clean and cozy. We especially loved the shelf full of games! My son and daughter thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub!

Stay at Solitude condo

The condo is great and has everything we needed. The location is super convenient for ski in ski out and the complex has so many amenities. We loved our stay.

Location great, unit needs attention

Great location to ski Solitude and area mountains. Amenities outside of rental unit could not be better, Solitude employees pleasant. Under-building parking is super convenient, shared amenities are wonderful (hot tub, pool, gym). However, property manager should give rental unit much needed attention in terms of upkeep, housekeeping, and stocking bare necessities in kitchen. Grease and oil all over cabinets and countertops upon arrival, dirty washcloths left in bathtub, carpets frayed with nail sticking through and facing up. Kitchen was minimally appointed - very small bowls, only 3 wine glasses, and as another reviewer pointed out, we had to wash during meals in order to have use of what we needed. No windex, tin foil, Saran Wrap, baggies, Tupperware. These items should be available to renter, as closest supermarket for these items is 15 miles away and as unit is outfitted for at-home cooking, food storage options should be available. No fault of building manager, but hair dryer shorted out on first use (should have additional appliances available and ready to be installed instead of having to be purchased downtown) and bathroom lighting stopped operating (again, should have replacements available same day). A quick run-through of the unit by property manager would have ensured that all appliances are in working order and that unit is stocked appropriately (pans, blankets, minimal kitchen needs). Property manager is responsive to inquiries.

Weekend mountain getaway

Excellent location, very easy check in, and communicative host. Beds were comfy and kitchen well stocked. Only complaint was airflow - it was extremely hot and stuffy when we arrived, and then even with all windows open, fans on, and window unit running, could not get good airflow for the bunk nook or in the main bedroom. Made sleeping a little rough.

Great get-away

This was a nice property. The price was great for the off season. The service and booking fees were pretty high and not mentioned in the listing so after fees and taxes the total was double what I had anticipated. But the area was spectacular, the condo was pretty nice, and it was great to have access to the resort ammenties!

Perfect unit for our family

Unit was exactly as described. The bunk room was great and the privacy curtain was an added bonus! The small touches of coffee and popcorn provided were such a nice and welcome touch. Location was excellent with good proximity to pool, lifts and general store. Will rent this unit again is available!

Great place close to slopes

We really enjoyed our stay. Location in the village was great - just a short walk to the shuttle or Apex lift. Condo was cozy and clean. Ski lockers downstairs were very convenient. Access to Club Solitude, especially the pool/spa was a very nice perk for us!

Great condo in Solitude Village

We had a blast and enjoyed our week in Solitude. Condo is located in the middle of the village. Stores and restaurants are a short walk away. Underground parking was a plus as it snowed a lot while we were there. I hope we get to come back next year!

Powder Stash Was a Powder Blast

The location, amenities and closeness of everything we needed was excellent. We had 4 feet of snow this week and it was the Best Powder we have ever skied in. This is our 3rd trip to Solitude and by far it was the best. Condo was perfect for 4 people.

On Solitude Mountain

We stayed in Powderhorn Lodge. The unit and amenities were just as described in the listing. The kitchen was well equipped and bathroom supplies also plentiful. Club Solitude was a nice bonus. We would definitely like to return to this unit.

Comfortable and convenient

We enjoyed our apartment very much. It was very clean, plenty of beds, nice TV, easy parking, a hot tub and very close to the base lifts at Solitude. The ski locker was a great convenience. There is a washer & dryer available. Upon arrival we couldn’t locate our parking pass. I called the iVacations number and within moments were connected with someone who helped us find the pass. I highly recommend this apartment for a group of 4 adults or a small family.

Perfect Place for Solitude & Brighton

Terrific location to ski and stay in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Very good amenities - hot tub, pool, ski locker, well-appointed kitchen, underground parking - to make your stay enjoyable. Called with a small issue and it was handled within hours. Would definitely recommend.
