Mountain Joy Cottage # 10, Big Bear, är inrett i ett björt tema. Denna romantiska stuga är utrustad med en jacuzzi-badkar.

Ursprungligen var Maggie Setzer, för vilken Maggie Valley heter, det land som Mountain Joy sitter, en speciell plats. Du kommer att bli förtrollad med det berget charm, familjär atmosfär och karaktär. Vi erbjuder alla moderna bekvämligheter du kan förvänta dig med året runt tillgång och avskildhet som mycket få kan erbjuda.

Njut av den lugna landsbygden i våra stugor. Vi har en, två och fyra sovrum stugor alla utrustade med vedeldade eldstäder, kabel-tv, internet och kök redo att laga en hemlagad måltid. Utanför verandorna har gungstolar så att du kan njuta av ditt morgonkaffe eller njuta av solnedgången på bergen på kvällen. Vårt glasomslutna utomhuspool (säsongsbundet) erbjuder en härlig plats att koppla av.

Mountain Joy Cottages ligger centralt i hjärtat av Maggie Valley, bara ett kvarter upp i Setzer Cove Road, med enkel tillgång till alla sevärdheter i området. Vi är bara några minuter från Scenic Blue Ridge Parkway och Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Området är laddat med hantverk, antikaffärer och presentbutiker. Den stora utomhus erbjuder ridning, golf på området bergskurser, öringfiske i strömmar, forsränning och natursköna enheter. Snöskidåkning och slangar är tillgängliga för hela familjen på Cataloochee Ski Area. Nattlivet innehåller allt från jazz till bluegrass, igensättning eller middagsunderhållning. Våra stugor ligger bara en kort bilresa till Great Smoky Mountain Railway, Asheville och The Biltmore Estate, Cherokee och Indian Reservation och Harrahs Casino och historiska downtown Waynesville.

Mini vacation

Our three day stay was very pleasant. We found the cabin clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The cabin was convenient to the main road.

The cabin was cute, its an older cabin but still had charm. There are ELK that wander through the yard and eat apples off of the tree right there in front of you!!!!! Absolutely Amazing!

Our two night stay was wonderful. This was our second time staying in this cabin. The cabin was clean. There were plenty of linens. We enjoyed being lazy and sitting around the fireplace. The bed was comfy and extra pillows and blankets were provided.The office staff were kind when we arrived. We can't wait to stay again 😊

This is our second time in this unit. Very quiet location on the pond. Very nice location for a couples weekend getaway. Enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable bed. Wood burning fireplace is a nice touch as well. Bring your own food, as there isn't a good reliable restaurant in Maggie Valley. Unit was very clean upon arrival.

Bed was horrible, sheets stained, floors dirty, air filter dirty, hot tub dirty, and didn’t feel safe with out a deadbolt on the doors.

Great cabin getaway

It was our second time staying here & we very much enjoyed our time. Prior to our trip, we did message the property managers asking questions but never received any answers. The cabin was very clean except for some dirty dishes & cutlery (dried food, etc) that we had to clean ourselves before they could be used. Suggestions would be to upgrade the blinds so that all could be opened (missing parts) & microwave to higher power model. Refrigerator also could be upgraded for a more aesthetically pleasing vibe (it looked like ALOT of mold on the outside of the fridge). Overall, we enjoyed our stay & hope to return in the future!

Just a little get away

Good just needs some better cleaning

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin isn’t a bad place but you could use a better cleaning crew. There were cobwebs in places such as the curtain rods and just kind of dusty in general. There were a pair of dusty jeans that have been under the bed for a good while. Feet also turned black after walking on the floor. TV remotes also didn’t work so I’m assuming they had dead batteries.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The process of renting was great. Phone was answered and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was fine but for a few issues. The loveseat was horrible. Can't say this strongly enough. TV was tiny and only 1 in the cabin. You have to wash and put dishes before leaving but there is no dish soap to wash with. Do not use anything without washing. One show door is off the track and cannot be moved. Dust hangs off the wall behind the bed in clumps.

Christmas Week

The cabin was sweet, perfect size for a couple.……the furniture was impossible to get comfortable in, wifi service was poor, there are cracks in the walls to the outside and the fireplace didn’t have a good draw.

The Mountain Cottages

Beautiful place. Enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the porch seeing the pond and ducks. This morning we saw two Elks that came right up to the back porch where we were. Enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely be back.
