Pretty location with a lot of quirks

Pro's-Sunset, dock, covered garage, clean interior. Con's--1 bedroom is lacking a wall so it's connected to the living/tv area; No water pressure in the tiniest of showers & in 1 bathroom sink; Patio furniture fully covered in spider webs that we couldn't use; No locks on bathroom doors plus cracks in doors/sides so they lack privacy; Weird set up for other bedroom--must go thru either bathroom to get in or out of room so if occupied you are stuck on either side.

Nice lake cottage

Nice place with a great view of the lake. Owner was responsive and everything went smoothly. Location was convenient to restaurants.

Outstanding experience

This was the most relaxing weekend we’ve had in a long time. Much better than advertised. We spent most of the time on the porch that has a huge shade tree over it.

Beautiful bday getaway

We did a getaway from Austin area for my birthday. We brought up our boat, so the dock was perfect. The cove is calm and quiet. My boys finished each morning and evening off the dock. Super cute cabin stocked with all the basics. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. They gave tips for best places to eat. Thanks again

Private dock, amazing sunset, & beautiful cabin

The private dock was fun to swim off of and had a ladder for easy in/out. Great patio area to watch the sunset. Comfortable beds & furnished beautifully. Very relaxing atmosphere. We met here for a ladies getaway & it was perfect! Great communication with the host. We will definitely be back.

Lake Time

This lake cabin is clean, cute, and right on the water!! There is plenty of space outdoors to enjoy the sunshine, fish, and take off on your watercraft! It is truly the BEST location!

Great Lake House

Owner was amazing and very accommodating. We were staying there for a Rocker B baseball tournament and had a late game on Sunday and the owner was gracious enough to let us have a late check out. if you have a boat, it has great access to the lake with a boat ramp just a few houses down. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

Easter Weekend Getaway

The house was incredible- so close to the water. Easy to launch my kayak. Spacious multi level deck great view from the sunroom. The host was very helpful. We will be going back! Did not disappoint!

Extremely well appointed lake house

All the details have been thought of and it’s super clean. Both indoor and outdoor fun for the family. The back patio overlooking the lake in the morning is worth the price alone.

I am a native Texan, working professional, a mom and a grandmother. I have a long history with Possum Kingdom Lake, and have been coming here since I was 5 years old. We have kept our boat here since 1979, and, finally, have purchased this house. We couldn’t be more excited!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We have rented houses in this cove for years, and have been waiting and watching for a property to come available. When this property became available, there was no hesitation to purchase it. After having looked extensively all over the lake, we believe this cove is the best kept secret on Possum Kingdom Lake!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The entire cove is a no wake zone, and, for this reason, the cove stays mostly smooth and calm. This makes it ideal for swimming, fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking. The back of the house faces the west, so we get beautiful sunsets! The cove is very quiet and peaceful. It is a wonderful place to get away and relax!
