Ligger på tjugo ett hektar, njut av lugnet i vårt lands semester reträtt bara 10 minuters bilresa från Bathurst och Mount Panorama. Koppla av på däck och ta in dalen utsikt och rullande kullar, eller ta en promenad runt fastigheten och utforska de enorma stenblock som skapats av tusentals år av väderosion. Vårt boende i Bathurst erbjuder en unqiue country experience och ligger ungefär två och en halv timmes bilresa från Sydney. Beläget strax utanför Bathurst är det en vacker tio minuters bilresa till stadens centrum så vi är nära alla shopping, kaféer och restauranger som Bathurst har att erbjuda. Great Location

We were there for the races, great proximity to the track. Wonderful views, our host Andy and Amanda were most helpful with all our need. The house provided us with all our needs, we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing time.

Stunning country retreat

We were absolutely blown away by the beauty and comfort of this beautiful property. The views over the valley are just perfect and the house is laid out in a very user friendly way. The wood stove in the kitchen kept us super warm. The beds are beautifully comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The two bathrooms helped immensely with our party of 4 adults and 3 kids. We loved our stay, thank you Andy and Amanda!

Views for Days

We had a wonderful stay at this property, everything was clean and tidy. Very hot weekend but inside was lovely and cool. Beautiful outlook. We were unable due to time to explore the property more. However our girls enjoyed trying to feed the Alpacas, which the owners left hay/grass for us and brought them up to the pasture next to the house so we could meet them. Fantastic stay. Thankyou

Granite garden and alpacas

This is a lovely place to stay. So many birds and wonderful views of the country, but only 15 minutes to Bathurst. The alpacas were a calm presence who reminded us that dramas are not evident in Evans Plains

Great accommodation. Amazing views.

We have stayed in Bathurst the weekend before Christmas for many years and we all agree this was our best accommodation choice so far. The house was perfect for our needs and well equipped . The view over Evans Plain is stunning, made all the better by an electrical storm in the evening. Communication with Amanda and Andy was excellent and very clear instructions on how to get to house and information about house. Birdlife and alpacas were very popular with family. We would love to return.

Large comfortable home in quiet location with beautiful rural views

Lovely home with everything we needed and more. The large outdoor area was stunning. The inside was very comfortable. Andy and Amanda were very friendly and obliging - nothing was too much trouble.

The most gorgeous cottage with the most extraordinary Views.

Having 2 families staying it was fantastic that we could find out own space when needed. Lovely cottage with plenty of charm. Comfy beds, everything you need in the kitchen, two bathrooms and a fire pit! What more could you ask for - oh that’s right AMAZING scenery.

Nice for a short break just outside Bathurst

Spectacular view from the deck, bathrooms recently renovated. Beds were comfy and house was spacious. Fire pit not in use during our stay but would be amazing in winter. Would have liked some milk in the fridge on arrival but other than that it is a lovely place to stay for a weekend.

Peaceful, comfortable home

We enjoyed our stay at the property while visiting family in Bathurst for Christmas. We were very comfortable, the house is big, the views were beautiful. Highly recommend- there were five of us and we all had plenty of room.

Evans Plains was a great place to stay with amazing views and everything you could need. Andy and Amanda were perfect hosts with great communication, would definitely stay when we are next in the area.

Home away from Home

Very comfortable property. Lovely hosts Andy and Amanda Thankyou for being so accomodating. The kitchen has everything you need including baking tins and it’s huge! Appreciated the coffee machine and pods. Loved the BBQ on the large deck with an awesome view. We would have loved to use the fire pit but it’s bushfire season. The alpacas were amusing but a bit standoffish. It’s only 10 mins out of Bathurst bit further to Orange but makes for a nice drive. Can recommend Huntley Berry Farm to pick your own strawberries when in season and a visit to Millthorpe. Overall we had a great time and would rebook.

Well setup farmhouse in scenic location

We had a very enjoyable stay over three nights this farmhouse set among granite boulders. The unseasonably cold spring weather meant we appreciated the ducted aircon. We made good use of the firepit for marshmallows.

Very comfortable stay in a scenic location

We had a very enjoyable three night at the Bathurst Country Retreat, also known as Bungawarra. The house was very clean and and well supplied with games. The ducted aircon worked well to keep us comfortable during Bathurst winter nights and the we enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire pit.

Very clean and comfortable. Gorgeous views from balcony

House was spotless. Very comfortable. Great size kitchen and excellent having 2 bathrooms. Thank you for local red wine that was left on dining room table for us. Lovely property with great views from balcony. Would have liked a BBQ. Lovely that the house is air-conditioned.

Amazing place

Andy and Amanda's place is immaculately maintained, peaceful, and set in a picturesque location. The house allows you to relax, take in the views, and be carefree. The single beds for children are well thought out, and the adult beds are of utmost comfort. I did not expect the house to be this nice to stay at, and at the end I could not have asked for anything more.

Idyllic country retreat

Had a fantastic stay, was everything we needed, a lovely peaceful setting to unwind after a hectic few months. The property was easy to find, so quiet at night yet only 15 minutes to the center of Bathurst with shops, restaurants etc. Everything required for a couples get away or a family get together plus more is available, the owners have thought of everything. Beds and pillows are super comfy so slept like a baby and enjoyed the district views from in front of the wood stove with a cuppa, perfect!
