Cozy Cottage, Lovely Location

We were in town for a family wedding, having camped our way across the country in a tiny travel trailer. There was plenty of room to park both our car and trailer and the security gate gave us peace of mind to leave the trailer while we were busy with family. The cottage has everything you need and is very comfortable. There is a claw-foot tub for a bath and a fully enclosed outdoor shower. There is also a hot tub which we did not have time to use, sadly.

Beautiful but not at all private

House was a little difficult to spot. The check-in email contained the address but since it was a unit on the owners property a clear address wasn’t posted onsite. We spent about 15 minutes driving up and down the gravel drive trying to determine which building we were staying in since the pictures of the property are from an angle not visible from the driveway - upon arrival the outside of the house looked nothing like the pictures. We would have appreciated some kind of note in the email or sign out front making the location of the rental more clear. The house itself was clean and well decorated; very comfortable and met our expectations aesthetically. We were disappointed by the lack of privacy, however. Lots of large windows provided tons of natural light during the day however come nightfall we felt like we were in a fishbowl completely visible to both neighboring houses, since there were no curtains or blinds on any of the windows. There is a claw foot tub in the one bathroom upstairs and an outdoor shower but walking to the shower involves walking to the back of the house via the deck which looks on to the neighbors house and yard with only a few panels of bamboo to provide some privacy. We ended up leaving a night early because we were uncomfortable with the lack of privacy. This was a beautiful property and would be well-suited for a couple comfortable with open windows or who did not intend on spending much time in the unit.

Great spot

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage. The property was nice and quiet and the house was perfect. The wood burning stove was really nice and the hosts provided us with some wood and starters. The bed was soft and comfortable but it’s a bit awkward to get in and out of, but the outdoor shower was a unique and fun touch!

The hosts of the property were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was very comfortable, and did not lack for anything. Loved the area and Port Townsend. We would definitely come back!!

The VRBO was perfect place to stay while visiting family. The outdoor shower was the best. The space was super clean. Comfortable beds, great kitchen. Can’t wait to stay again.

Almost just right

The setting was beautiful, and the cottage cozy and quiet. The bed was a challenge, and the bath was quaint but a little awkward. A great little place for more "agile" visitors. Will recommend it to our adult kids!

A cute, comfy, cottage

We really enjoyed our stay in Port Townsend. This cottage is pretty close to town, but feels like you're way out in the country. It's a charming, well appointed home, with all you need. It has a cool claw foot tub and an outside (very private) shower. A garage to park your car too. The owner's pets are around, but not in the way. Very friendly too (three dogs and a cat). We loved our stay.

Mother & daughters getaway

Very quiet and relaxing

This property is off the beaten path. It's a about a 15 min drive to Port Townsend but it made us check out some other places to eat that we probably wouldn't of gone too. Very quiet and peaceful. Very cute house only issue for my husband was no shower. But I loved the claw foot tub! Usually most places don't have a tub so one time didn't kill him lol

Cozy Cottage In The Woods

A great spot for a romantic get away, or a long weekend with your significant other. A central location allows for ease of access for many adventures- wineries, breweries, cideries, great food, mountains, islands and beaches. And for the history buff lots of coastal artillery museums. Super friendly dog and cat. Cool outdoor shower for the adventurous soul and a huge tub for the less so. We will return next year for sure.

Very comfortable and peaceful

Adorable cottage, very clean and well appointed, much larger in person than in the pictures. Peaceful and rural, but only minutes to town. Wonderful hostess!
