Lakefront stuga på 4mm på tyst vik av Lake of the Ozarks! Helt ny dock!

Njut av detta klassiska fiskersjöhus som byggdes i slutet av 1950-talet och har renoverats omfattande !!! Inbäddat på baksidan av Dry Branch Cove är vattnet lugnt och perfekt för bad eller umgås på den helt nya bryggan. Med 160+ fot vid vattnet finns det gott om utrymme att fiska och massor av avskildhet! Dock har generös badplattform, eldstadssits och sitter i fridfullt vatten som väntar på ditt personliga (eller hyrda) vattenskotrar.
Hemmet på övervåningen renoverades och har trägolv i hela, ett mysigt vardagsrum, tre sovrum och ett helt nytt badrum med duschkabin. Det stora sovrummet har dubbelsäng och generös väggmonterad LED-TV med DVD. Det andra sovrummet har en skön fullstor säng och en väggmonterad platt-TV med DVD. Det tredje sovrummet har en tvilling över fullstor våningssäng. Varje säng har helt nya kuddtoppar / minne-skummadrasser som är så bekväma!
Nedervåningen hittar du köket, matplatsen och ett andra badrum som har enkel tillgång till det nya däck eller sjön. Denna del av huset har också renoverats med ett helt nytt badrum och tegelgolv i hela. Köket är utrustat med grytor och stekpannor, kaffebryggare, brödrost, mikrovågsugn, glas, bestick och disk. I princip är allt du behöver tillgängligt.
Det bästa med fastigheten är den stora gården med mogna träd, stort utrymme mellan våra grannar och den milda sluttningen ner till vattnet. En eldstad för familjens lägereldar, Weber kolgrill och uteservering bidrar till din lägerupplevelse.

Our family of four had a great stay. We enjoyed spending time on or near the dock...fishing and floating. The cove was nice and quiet. Our boys took the kayak and SUP out a few times. The communication was always quick and helpful.

Great property! The outside area is what really makes it standout! The dock is huge with an awesome bar area and another sitting area around a fire pit. Fishing was good also. The deck next to the house is really nice also. Overall, this was an excellent place to spend the week on a quiet cove at Lake of the Ozarks!

My husband and I had a great week at Dennis and Mary’s place. It was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed— from soap and towels to the very well stocked kitchen— everything. The shower upstairs was great and the bed in the main bedroom was so comfy. Because of the summer heat, we split our time indoors and out— and oh, my goodness the dock was amazing! SO much room! It was almost like three extra living spaces— cute tiki bar with lights, table and chairs (with a mini fire pit built into the table) and loungers. We didn’t swim/kayak this trip, but the dock had a great swimming area off of it with a ladder. Don’t hesitate to book this place— it is just as shown in the listing, better even! We look forward t going back!

Great Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our family of 8. The quiet cove was great for spending time in the water. Our favorite part was the dock! Perfect setup with plenty of room in the sun or shade.

3rd vacation stay

This is our 3rd time vacationing here and it was amazing as always! It is the best spot for relaxation. A very quiet cove to swim, fish, and hang out with our family. We will be back again!

BEST DOCK EVER!!!

This was a wonderful and very clean place to stay. We brought our tritoon boat and parked it right in the slip at the amazing dock where we spent the majority of our time. Mary was so quick to respond to any questions. It is also a great location and close to many fun restaurants and bars.

Amazing place!

This is an absolute beautiful cottage! The cottage is truly on a quiet cove of the lake. We were able to relax and spend our day on the beautiful dock and big backyard. The water was warm and clear and the dock was perfect to fish and swim from. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful.The location was great- it is within minutes from the big attractions in Osage beach and Lake Ozark. Mary and Dennis were terrific and got back to us with any questions we had. We would not hesitate to go back again!

Fun family vacation

Everything was beautiful & just like how it was described. Dock was awesome & spent most of our time there. Loved that we were in a quiet cove away from the craziness of the main lake. If we had any questions, the owner responded & was very helpful. Would definitely recommend for a family vacation. Fair warning to others: if you bring your own boat, the parking & roads near the house are pretty difficult to maneuver with a trailer. Other than that small issue (took some brainstorming), everything was perfect!

Everything was excellent

We stay at different locations all over the lake. We always look for a quiet cove and great dock. This property wins the game in those categories. The house if clean, beds comfortable and kitchen and supplies very adequate. Mary responds quickly with any questions. We had no issues and would definitely recommend and put this one on our list to rent again. Dont hesistate, this is a good one!

Could have been cleaner, bad experience with owner

On arrival we found that the property wasn't as clean as we expected. There were pubic hairs in the shower upstairs, the toilet had not been properly cleaned, and there were extensive water stains on the shower door in the downstairs bathroom. There was an excessive build up of dead bugs in the bar area of the tiki bar at the dock. The bar lighting was very dusty and had clearly not been cleaned for some time. The grill was very dirty and had not been cleaned for a long time either, which we had to do. On departure we spilled a small amount of juice on the kitchen floor and made our best efforts to clean it up with washing up liquid as there were no other supplies available. There was a small scorch mark to the dock from a firework, we did our best to clean this. On leaving we also found female underwear left from a previous stay. Since then, we were notified of a $100 fee added to our stay 'for cleaning and damage caused'. When queried, the owner came back with a list of items that were clearly not our fault, and had not been damaged, said that they don't clean the grill or bar. We asked for photographic evidence and did not receive anything that would support her claims. We also paid a fee for cleaning and took out insurance in the event of a problem but the owner is refusing to go through insurance which would be in everyone's best interest. Suffice to say, we would find it hard to recommend this property to anyone and will be taking this further.

This guest gave positive feedback after arriving at the property and sent a message telling me how beautiful it was. I had only one other message with him to clarify the wifi password. Upon departure, our cleaning crew called us to the property to show us some issues. A curtain rod in the living room had been pulled from the wall on the left side, the glass to the entry door on the lake side had been damaged/ melted by something hot, there were fireworks scorch marks on the dock, and a large sticky spill of dried fluid that was left on the kitchen floor about 2 feet in diameter. The liquid had soaked into the tile grout and it took a significant amount of work to get it scrubbed out of the grout. I paid my cleaning crew more for the extra time and only collected $100 from the deposit to cover the cleaning and repairs. Once I did so and sent a message detailing the concerns, suddenly the guest became unhappy about these items that he's detailed above. In 6 years of opening our lake house to VRBO guests, I've only had to utilize a deposit to cover damages 3 times. I did have to ask this guest how they would feel if someone stayed at their house and left a big spill of something sticky in their kitchen that took a long time to get cleaned up, pulled a curtain rod out of a wall, damaged the glass in their entry door, and left scorch marks on their property- meaning that the falling cinders from fireworks were potentially falling on all of the neighbor's boat covers. I really don't believe I was unreasonable to utilize $100 for extra cleaning and repairs and I fully predicted that this guest would retaliate with a poor review. He hinted that he would leave a bad review if I didn't release the full deposit back but I had to stand up for what was right.

Great place!! Entire family loved it. Wonderful dock, we spent al.ost out entire weekend out on the dock. Kids swam for hours. Tons of lightning bugs very cool to watch at dusk. Highly recommend!!

Perfect Lake of the Ozarks stay!

The house was perfect for our family. Very clean and just as advertised. Situated on a quiet cove and the dock is amazing! Home is updated and there is room for parking. Highly recommend!

Relaxing

We were there for a short family vacation and the house was perfect for the number of people we had. It was close to the dock/water and we enjoyed one day of swimming and relaxing by the dock. We boated the rest of the trip. The house had everything we needed!

Perfect mix of quiet and entertainment

This was perfect for us: my husband and our 3 kids. 2 of them adults plus their spouses= 8. Youngest 15 to oldest 24. The dock is where we spent all of our time. Rain or shine this quiet cove will not disappoint. Sleeps 7 with a couch with an extra air matt in the closet. Amenities were great. Very nicely updated interior. And cannot say enough great things about the outdoors. There is an air compressor on the dock which was awesome. Will be back!

We had a great time! The dock is so fun to hang out on! We mostly hung out at the dock and swam! Barely went anywhere.

Memorial weekend vacation

A group of 6 of us stayed here over memorial weekend and it was absolutely perfect. We chose this rental because because of the dock and it did not disappoint! It was great for drinks at the tiki bar, swimming in the cove, and ending the night by the fire pit. Our group was all adults, but this house would be perfect if you had little ones too.

This place was just as advertised down to every detail. The beds were very comfortable and the outside area was fantastic! Our kids has a blast swimming off the dock. I highly recommend this place!

Dennis and I have lived in Columbia, MO since 2006. Dennis is a Navy Veteran and a realtor for House of Brokers in Columbia. I have been a nurse for 20 years and am proud to call Truman VA Hospital my workplace. Dennis and I have been married 25 years and have always had a love for boating and watersports. We took the "plunge" in 2015 and bought the cottage at Lake of the Ozarks.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Lake of the Ozarks has world renowned freshwater fishing, plenty of activities for families (ie: miniature golf, bumper boats, go-karts, indoor water park, outdoor water parks, and movie theatres), and nightlife fun! This cottage was built in 1958 and owned by the last homeowner for 42 years. It is built on three lots of mature trees and a very gentle slope to the water. When we saw the water view, the trees, and the house, we knew that this was a unique opportunity to begin our own story at the lake.

We used a local dock company to build a custom dock with a spacious swim platform, a swim ladder, oscillating fan, and LED color change lighting. This is the perfect place to enjoy the water view and keep your personal watercraft close by. From water, the property is just minutes away from Jolly Rogers, Coconuts, Lazy Gators, H. Toads, and The Boathouse. Sunday brunch at Jolly Rogers or nightlife at H.Toads or Shady Gators are a short boat ride or car ride away.
