Great location

Loved being in this classic neighborhood near the St. John Cathedral and Manito Park. It was very convenient for getting on/off 1-90.

Great 3rd Floor Retreat on Spokane's South Hill!

Great older house conveniently located in the heart of Spokane’s South Hill. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. I especially liked the large outside deck which was perfect for an evening beer and a book (I felt like I was in a treehouse!). The AC was able to keep up with 100+ temperatures during our stay. Great neighborhood for walking and just a couple of blocks from Manito Park. Hope to stay here again!

Quaint older home, clean

Property is an older home with all its charms, clean anna comfortable. Well stocked kitchen work new appliances. Only one bathroom is the only downfall. Off Street parking is nice. Overall good experience.

Disappointed

The apartment was gross. There were Chunks of food and a dirty towel on floor, the garbage can was nearly full, the carpet was filthy and the kitchen sink was leaking. We did not stay there and asked for a refund, which is pending.

Nice place in the heart of South Hill

Great place to stay. A little hard to find at first. Don't trust Apple Maps. Air conditioning was not quite adequate but we were there when it 96 degrees and no wind at night. I would stay here again.

Perfect taste of Spokane!

We loved the older home in this area of Spokane! We walked to Manito Park and went to Rockwood Bakery every day (I'll be dreaming about those scones for a while). Very convenient to Riverfront Park! We traveled with our daughters who are 3 years old and 19 months. Apparently, they sounded like a herd of elephants after the long car ride to get to the home. The owner was very understanding (& hopefully the downstairs neighbors were too after things calmed down).

Mostly great, some opportunities

The main thing that we disappointed with was the state of the deck, which was the reason we booked. I had to wipe down all of the deck furniture before we could use it. The BBQ was also a draw but it was absolutely filthy. I spent a good half hour wiping it down prior to us using it, plus there wasn’t adequate propane to cook a steak. The response to drop off more was excellent though. The rest of the unit was just fine. I’d suggest doing something with the shower tap as it’s hard to get the water to flow only to the shower head and the result is that you’re showering in ankle deep water.

Peter Purchased this property in 2002 and lived in one of the apartments and rented out the others, slowly restoring all the property.

In 2013 Peter married Sarah and the next year they had their first baby, Piper and quickly were outgrowing their place. With baby #2, Riley, they have moved out of their place and are now happy to have it as a place for guests to stay. We hope you enjoy staying here as much as we did!

This is an amazing place to stay. If has a wonderful deck as well as a picture window with a nice view of the cathedral and neighborhood trees. The cozy bedrooms have queen beds with plenty of room to stretch out.

The kitchen is upgraded with quality appliances as well as a washer and dryer in the pantry.

Its a quiet spot, with off street parking and great places to walk. Restaurants, drinks, and snacks are just a few feet away

Also has 48" TV with bluray player and netflix. Redbox is across the street
