Välkommen till vårt vackra hus i Peru, Vermont, vilket skulle vara den perfekta platsen för din nästa semester. Oavsett om du åker skidor, snöskoter, mountainbike, vandrar eller bara njuter av bladverket - kommer du att älska din vistelse.
Huset är ett rymligt hus med 9 sovrum, 6 badrum, som är byggt på 10 privata hektar och sover 24 personer bekvämt. Det ligger i slutet av vägen som ger gott om integritet. Det är det perfekta huset för familjeåterförening, företags reträtt eller en stor grupp vänner med fantastisk utsikt över Vermont Mountains och har egen privat sjö direkt framför huset. Huset ligger i närheten av fyra berg: Bromley, Stratton, Okemo och Magic Mountain. Det ligger också nära det historiska Lincoln familjebolaget, golfklubbar, American Museum of Fly Fishing, VAST stig och New Englands längsta zip-linje vid Bromley.
Fastigheten har gott om plats för alla externa aktiviteter. Du kan spela boll, göra grill, sola vid vattnet, laga marshmallows i eldstaden, gå till bastun eller bara ha cocktails med dina vänner i den stora jacuzzin medan du njuter av utsikten.
Huset har gott om plats och flera egna aktiviteter. Vardagsrummet har en öppen spis, Smart Tv med Direkt Tv, och skjutdörrar för enkel åtkomst till stora däck. Köket har alla nödvändiga apparater, pantry artiklar och redskap. Köket har en ö med fyra avföring och ett stort matbord sittplatser tolv. Om det inte finns tillräckligt med utrymme finns det två bord på däcken. När du kommer in på den lägre nivån hittar du dig själv i spelrummet med utsmyckade pool och bordsfotabord.
Efter en lång dag med aktiviteter på huvud- och nedre nivåer hittar du åtta sovrum; fyra på varje våning med queen size-sängar och färskt sängkläder och handdukar. Tre av sovrummen har egna badrum och varje våning har ett extra badrum på korridoren. På den övre nivån i nionde sovrummet hittar du fyra queen size-sängar och eget badrum. Detta rum får dig att känna att du är i skogen på grund av att sängar och möbler är gjorda av tunga stockar.

Just okay trip

Its a very old property in a remote location. Literally nothing around for amenities. Dont look at the listing pictures and fall for it. House is clean but very minimal products available for use (laundry detergent). Laundary machine not clean and dryer takes hours with minimal effect. Host responds quickly. Overall just okay for that price.

Good not great

Rented this place for a ski trip. To get there you travel on a long dirt road, something to consider in the winter time with snow and ice. The place is a bit beat up, towels wreak of mildew once wet, no coffee pot, kitchen items/utensils not the cleanest, 1 paper towel roll for a 24 person home. But other than that it’s a great space for a large group. I’m sure it’s beautiful in the summer time with the pool and lake. As long as you don’t have high expectations it’s fine.

Great weekend away!

We spent a weekend with 6 families. This house was the perfect size for our group of 23. The kids had a blast playing pool and foosball. There was plenty of space outside for them to run around as well. Vlad was very available if we needed assistance. Rooms were roomy and clean. The location is a bit off the beaten path down a dirt road, but was very quiet and private. It was a relatively easy drive to Bromley and Equinox mountains and close to Manchester.

Rental Review

My family and I recently stayed at the Peru property. The home accommodated our family of 18 for a wonderful 70th birthday celebration for our mom. The swimming pool, along with the jacuzzi, kayaks, and pool table were enjoyed by our group. The kitchen included all necessary items, even a rolling pin which I had left at home. Overall the experience was positive and offered many wonderful memories for the three generations who gathered. The home itself is in need of updates and attention to detail. Marianne's review from July states many observations my group also noted. The pictures offered, while reflecting accurate furniture and home layout, do not reflect the ware and tear of extended use of this home. Detailed cleaning and general upkeep of building maintenance (chipped paint in bathrooms, dinged walls in stairwells, outside paint), landscaping and personal touches are other areas missing within the rental. This rental has many elements to satisfy, but could offer a higher level of luxury with further attention to detail, high level of cleaning, and home updates.

DOG HAIR UNLIMITED

The location was nice, especially the pool. The pond is very small. The house was disgustingly filled with dog hair. Even though this is a pet friendly house, the dog hair was excessive: in layers under all furniture, embedded in all cloth furniture, embedded in several bed comforters, under heating registers, in closets, under the beds, it was everywhere. The baby could not crawl on the hardwood floor without being covered in dog hair. The owner was kind enough to send the housekeepers back for some spot cleaning of dog hair and for the dead bugs found in the sheets of one of the bed's downstairs the first night. The dog hair was even stuck to the felt on the top of the pool table. The owner was polite even though he refused to refund the cleaning fee and the cost for one of our families who had allergies, who slept in the car for two nights, then left. (The owner was informed of the allergies when I rented. He said the cleaners would take care of it.)The owner told me, again, this was a pet friendly home and I should have expected dog hair and bugs, after all, it is in the woods in Vermont. Yes, that is what he said. Obviously the owner and I had different expectations of cleanliness, and I am sure he will respond to this by telling you I am a complainer and that he let me in early, 1 hour. None of that changes the facts. This property has the potential for a great rental, but every piece of furniture would need replacing, the walls painted, plus the circular stairs to the bunk room would need to be replaced. It jiggles when you climb the stairs. The bunk beds upstairs look cute, but think twice before you try to sleep in them. I booked this home for a family reunion and 50th anniversary. It was a disaster. Four of the 6 families with us have their own dogs which they left home. Two of the dog friendly families left after 3 nights.. The remainder of us left on the fifth night. We were just done with the whole mess.

Dilapidated Rental - not as advertised

I am a long-time VRBO renter and rely heavily on accurate reviews and descriptions of rentals. I feel in this case that I was deceived by the rental description and previous reviews. My aim is to provide an honest and accurate review for fellow renters. Overall, the actual cost of this property far exceeds the worth of this rental. Positives: 1. The location/setting is beautiful and tranquil. Lovely stars at night with very little light pollution 2. The dumpster was very convenient for a big group 3. The owner, Vlad, was accessible to both texts and phone calls 4. The firewood for fire pit was provided Negatives: 1. Exterior of the house is VERY dilapidated...peeling paint, cracked front steps, very weathered siding, some trash in back yard, random (almost 'junk yard') fire pit furniture, tears in outdoor table 2. Interior of house is also VERY dilapidated...broken drawers in fridge, holes in walls, peeling paint in bathrooms, actually 'boarded up' fireplace, decor is very random and poor quality, especially in basement rooms 3. Towels...there were towels provided for each room, however none for the kitchen and most had a mildewy smell, one was a beach towel with holes (Vlad did provide additional towels) 4. Kitchen...the dishwasher was partially filled with dishes, pots and pans in heaps in cabinets with a film of grease and many dishes/glasses were dirty, which involved cleaning everything before using; the fridge had broken/missing drawers; the sink faucet was loose, the dishwasher 'rocks' back and forth; there were no ice trays, no can opener, no broom available for cleaning up; filter above stove was filthy with no working light 5. There was a mildewy collection of laundry that was left in the washer...(Vlad sent someone to remove) 6. There was also a 'sulfur' smell from one of the upstairs bathrooms (Vlad sent a handyman to 'seat' and 're-seal' the toilet) 7. We knew there was no AC provided, however there were no screens in the sliding doors, which made ventilation VERY difficult. The bunk room is quite hot and needs a ceiling fan 8. 'Rickety' spiral staircase to the bunk room on the third floor, one of the screws from the railing on the top was loose as well Although we called/texted Vlad several times and some of the items were 'fixed', the fact remained that the property was falsely advertised and represented. I felt very deceived, especially as I am a regular VRBO renter and never had this experience before.

Lovely place

Everyone loved this place. It was breathtaking, especially when it snowed. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. Would book again.

Great getaway with family. Beautiful house.

Very large house We have been looking for a house for our dad's birthday for a long time. The house has met all our requirements - large, clean, with 6 bathrooms and a large number of bedrooms, fully equipped with everything you need. Children played outside and in the house from morning to evening and were very pleased. In the evening, the whole family sat next to the firepit. Some people from out group tried a hot tub and really enjoyed it too. Everyone had a great time. Many thanks to Vlad as he was always in touch and was our guide to nearby attractions and shops. Highly recommend house for family holidays and nature lovers.

Great vacation time in PERU

We come to this house yearly before kids go to school. Pool, hot tub, private lake, firepit with provided firewood, plenty of space for activities. What not to like. We saw that the new, sky link internet was added, which has a really great speed. Previously house had dish and it was not that fast. This house is really comfortable for our big family of 22 and a lot of new things were added and done from the last year, which is always a pleasantly surprise. Hopefully we will be back again next year.

A very pleasant time for a large group

Vlad was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Very accommodating. Our large group fit quite comfortably. The pool was very refreshing during the day and there was plenty of firewood for a fire during the night. Towels were helpfully left on all the beds and the pond was very pleasant, especially for a little kayak around.

Great for big group.

We had 20 people stay at this house with ease. The bunk room was great with 9 kids sleeping in there together. Great basement for the kids to play in and a huge family room for everyone to gather. The hot tub was great and the proximity to Bromley was great especially with the snowstorm that hit!

Fall review

This property was great for a large group, although the queen on queen bunkbeds aren't quite for older couples, but were good for the youth. The house is getting a little run down, could use a few updates, might be nice to have nightlights in the bathrooms and lamps next to all the beds. Living room curtains are falling off the hooks. The shared bathrooms might be a drawback to groups that aren't family. Hot tub was enjoyed, kitchen was adequately equipped, and pond was pretty. Overall satisfied but for the price I hope it gets updated sometime soon.

Will and Syd's wedding retreat

Te house came as advertised. I had spoken with the owner on seberal occasions but did not have an opportunity to visit the house before everyone descended on it the Friday before the wedding. When we got there the property manager was cleaning the hot tub and making sure the kayaks on the pond were all set. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great weekend. I ABSOLUTELY recommend the house for a large group that wants to stay together in Vermont.

Very disappointed

We were unfortunately disappointed with this property. Our family has been using VRBO for multigenerational vacations for many years and this house did not compare favorably with similar places we have enjoyed around the country. The house was much smaller than expected. While all the bedrooms were cramped, several of the bedrooms were so tiny that the only furniture in the room was the bed and a single night table - no dresser. The occupants of these rooms spent the week living out of suitcases placed on sofas in the shared family areas. The kitchen was also small with no pantry or cabinet space for food - we stored food on the china cabinet in the hallway. We were saddened to find that the dining area was not large enough for us to eat meals together. There was no table to play board games - we drove to Bennington to buy a folding card table which we squeezed into the front foyer to put together a puzzle. The deck had no shade nor were there comfortable places for small groups to gather for conversation. We found the house to be in a state of disrepair - peeling paint, drapes falling off the rods, furniture soiled and broken, carpets stained, missing and broken tiles in the entrance. The linens were insufficient (two mismatched towels per bedroom with no extras), the house had a musty, mildew smell, and Corelle dishes and plastic wine glasses were not what we expected. We have stayed at many VRBO homes of similar size over the years. I have never left a negative review, but we were dissatisfied with the quality of this property and cannot recommend it.

Perfect house for an extended stay!

Me and my family had a blast. The house is in a secluded area with beautiful views of the lake. Everyone had something to do on the property, and I especially enjoyed roasting marshmallows around the fire pit in the evening. We were able to kayak, swim and just all around enjoy ourselves for the duration of our stay. The house was big enough for everyone to sleep comfortably, and the kitchen had all the needed plates and utensils. The second fridge in the lower floor was also a huge bonus. Overall my stay was amazing, and I would to come again.

Nice retreat.

Lovely property in a secluded location. We’ve enjoyed our time together with a group of friends. The house is very clean. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfortable, enough of bathrooms for a large group. Plenty of space for everyone indoors and outdoors to feel comfortable. Kids loved bunk beds room upstairs and had a blast playing outside. We’ve enjoyed hot tub and fire pit. Vlad was very helpful. I would recommend this place for sure. We will be back.

Perfect for a small yoga retreat

We had a small group of health minded individual together for the weekend. The kitchen was adequately stocked. There was tons of space and close to hikes! We will return for sure!

Great Ski Vacation

We rented this house over New Years Eve, the house was immaculate upon arrival. Honestly cleanest house I have ever stayed in! All guests, young and old had a great time. The hot tub was a hit as was the foosball table and pool table. The hot tub was even drained, sanitized and re-filled prior to our arrival. Vlad was readily available by phone/text and addressed any questions/concerns immediately. We had 20 people in the house and we were very comfortably spaced out. Hall bathrooms were nice and big too. Okemo and Bromley are a short distance away, so we were able to enjoy both. We had a great time in this house and looking forward to returning to VT.
