Dog Trot Cabin, som ursprungligen byggdes 1927, är en unik, helt återställd, mysig tillflyktsort. Helt avskilt, men fortfarande inom stadens gränser, är det bara fem minuter från centrala Cleveland och I-75. Dog Trot sitter på 8 trädbevuxna tunnland mittemot en 80 tunnland stor naturpark. Det är ett bra ställe för en weekendresa eller en längre vistelse nära staden.

Slingra upp till det historiska centrum av Clevelands Five Points Museum och Red Clay Theatre. Charming historic retreat!

Dog Trot cabin is a cozy, secluded retreat conveniently located to restaurants, recreation, and entertainment. Anne and her husband have lovingly restored this 1927 treasure, and the attention to detail in can be seen inside and out. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

In town getaway

This property is great it is in a great neighborhood but is hidden from the road and neighbors. The cabin was laid out well and the host had everything looking great when we arrived. We definitely look forward to staying here again.

So relaxing!

We certainly enjoyed our weekend getaway at the Dog Trot Cabin. The cabin was so comfortable and the outdoor space so inviting. Anne was a pleasure to work with. Hopefully, we will be able to schedule a return trip soon.

Secluded and Serene

Lovely property located in a small Tennessee town. Beautiful surroundings. Property was homey with thoughtful touches. Cabin is renovated from an original property built in 1927. We had a wonderful time here.

Perfect Lee University hideaway

came for graduation at Lee University, and the DTC far exceeded my expectations... was 5 minutes from the campus, yet felt like we were tucked away in a secluded mountain retreat! the cabin/amenities/ large sheltered back porch with a swing that stayed in use ~ all added to a Most delightful trip. FAR and Above staying at a hotel!

Peaceful Place

The cabin is wonderful, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything a guest could need. But our favorite part was the outside space. The back patio is amazing! We ate breakfast out there twice and enjoyed time just swinging, looking at the gigantic trees and hearing all the sounds of nature.

Beautiful, Secluded Property

Even though not really secluded, this property seemed secluded because of the trees and because the neighbors were up above you on both sides. It is a beautifully decorated, quaint cabin with a lot of rich history. Great place for two people to stay. Anne is a great host and was willing to answer any questions. We enjoyed our getaway very much!!!

Perfectly quiet!

I was looking for a quiet place to stay while I was in town working. This cabin was perfect for that. Very easy to get places as it’s not far out at all but it is nicely tucked back from the road for privacy. Loved it!

Charming Cottage

Dogtrot Cabin was a charming cottage with lovely details such as fresh flowers and snacks on arrival and a well stocked kitchen complete with coffee ready to brew! Every detail was meticulously planned for a relaxing secluded weekend in the heart of Cleveland, Tennessee. A must see for all who love antiques and relaxing!

Delightful Place

This is the sweetest place to go if you want some time away from the world. Quite, secluded, peaceful. I LOVED the sweetness and detail of this cabin. Very well loved. The outside is as enjoyable as the inside. I will definitely be back!

Perfect Stay

Booked to attend friend's wedding at Howe Farms in Birchwood. Dog Trot Cabin has the sweetest atmosphere and was the perfect place for respite. We enjoyed Grit & Grace Summer Market and the convience of Fletcher Park for walking the beautiful trails. Owner was beyond friendly, communication was easy and the fresh flowers and snacks were the perfect touch. We will be back!

Beautiful Place

Looks just like it does in the photos. Really beautiful, cozy property on a nice sized piece of land that my dog had a lot of fun running around on. There was also a fantastic park across the street, and all of the conveniences and stores around that you would need despite the fact that you feel far away from it all. It was an awesome getaway, and Anne was really communicative and friendly!

Peaceful, romantic, a true gem.

This was our second stay at dog trot cabin. It is beautiful and very peaceful. You feel like you are miles away from everything, but you are close to town. The cabin itself is amazing, the interior is nicely decorated and fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. We will return again and again.

Very Pleased

This was the perfect place for my husband and I. It is very cozy with nicely appointed furnishings that make this place unique and charming. I enjoyed the fresh flowers and appreciate the attention to detail the owners put into restoring the cabin. We spent a rainy winter weekend here relaxing and reading. So peaceful. We look forward to visiting again.

Nice and Quaint But Not What We Anticipated

Great cabin and very close to downtown Cleveland and 30 min to Chattanooga. Inside has a cozy feel and luv’d the fireplace. However, there were a few disappointments that would have added to a lot to the full cabin experience.

Travel back in time in this beautiful cabin and it's tranquil surroundings!!!

What a great place to stay!!!! LOVED all the care that went into transforming this cabin back to 1927!!! Beautiful property, lovely decor and peaceful surroundings!!!! LOVED that we could take our dog Jake along with us. Access to the park across the street was wonderful for morning and early evening walks and runs! Close to Lee University where we dropped our daughter off for her first year of college...we will be making many trips up to watch her play volleyball and making sure we stay at Dog Trot each and every time!! GREAT owner!!! Lots of care and love went into this renovation!!!

As an interior designer I saw the potential for saving and restoring this little cabin. It was almost 2 years of hard work. I rent it out to help pay for the cost of my restoration and to let others enjoy this little place as much as I do. Its is my favorite place to be.
My design studio and home are just a few miles away from Dog Trot which makes it easy to manage. I really enjoy meeting all the nice people that have stayed at my cabin. Many guest have returned back for multiple stays. Some guest have left behind a nice note telling me how much they enjoyed staying at Dog Trot Cabin...which makes all of my hard work worth while.

My little cabin is located across the street from Fletcher Park, an 80 acre nature park and within the city limits of Cleveland makes Dog Trot a unique get away close to my home.
