Family getaway

The homes are Dated inside but we knew that going in from prior reviews, other than that it was just what we needed. Comfortable clean provided the essential’s, the pool’s were great and the workout facilities. Very peaceful in the evening. Lots to do in the area.

We love Shawnee Village!!

We swam in the pools, grilled, golfed and rafted in the river. There is an outfitter on-site that took us 3 miles upriver & we floated back down the river to Shawnee.. So much fun, love the area. This listing is for a Wyndham timeshare property and we usually do not know which village/house they'll give us.

The property was very spacious, in a good, quiet location, and pretty clean. The fact that the condo is part of a resort makes the price we paid more worth it as we had access to all of the resort's amenities. However, there were a few issues related to the resort itself, such as having challenges reaching the resort staff for assistance. For example, when the Wifi was down, the resort staff told me that I was responsible for calling a tech support hotline when they could have done it themselves after not picking up the phone for 20 minutes. Or, the kitchen sink ended up having issues with clogging the first time we used it.Otherwise, the host, Gina, was very communicative and accommodated us as best as she could.

Weekend getaway

Nice condo with convenient location

Overall a nice unit. Convenient location for what we had planned in the area. 5 min from rafting and kayaking at Shawnee Inn. But be aware that this is part of a timeshare/vacation Club Wyndham. Took over a half hour to check in trying to refuse the 90 min tour. A few minor quirks with the condo. We spoke to our neighbors and all had the same issues, such as the shower sprays out and causes a leak down through the ceiling to the kitchen, so a full towel needs to be put in front of the shower to prevent this. There are not enough outlets in the bedrooms for charging everyone's devices, so we bought a multiple charging station. Ant spray is needed for the kitchen, i saw this in other reviews so i was prepared and sprayed upon arrival but still had some ants. Rugs weren't vaccuumed and cardboard box was left on the middle of the room. Like i said minor issues that we resolved. It's a good set up , especially for a family with children.

Great property, easy access to Shawnee Inn

Loved the neighborhood and easy (walking distance) access to the Shawnee Inn, where we were attending a wedding. Condo was spacious and well-stocked, and the air conditioning kept it cool on the very hot days we were there.

Comfortable and convenient

It was a perfect set up for a girls weekend high school reunion. The place was clean and comfortable. We had a little trouble regulating the heat, but other than that I would recommend it.

We highly recommend this place!

We highly recommend this place for couples and families who would like to have a quiet weekend getaway from the city. Location just an hour and a half away from Manhattan and close to both sought after indoor water parks - Kalahari & Camelback. A stone throw away from the Delaware water gap where you can go white water rafting and trekking. This place has amenities too that you and your family will enjoy. The place has fresh & clean sets of white towels, toiletries and complete kitchen appliances, pots, pans, mixing bowls, utensils… perfect for people and families who prefers to cook & eat home cooked meals. The place is quiet and peaceful. Recommended for families with kids. Just make sure that if you have elderlies with you, ask for a unit that is elderly or handicap friendly. Unit R-96 is not for families with elderly companions.

Bushkill Falls

The trip to Bushkill Falls was a small ride from the condo. (15 to 20 minutes) The pools were very nice. My family enjoyed staying at the condo and all the sites near by.

Fun trip

The process to arrive at our stay was at first very complicated but after several minutes of discussion with staff about it which took 2 times of going back and forth to the front desk it was cleared. However the property had all full size beds which we were promised the main bedroom had queen to king size beds. Am glad my host Gina was able to accommodate us to the proper area. Also the first property which was nice had some plumbing issues with the bathroom for the kids. Problem was that we had to start from square one during the time that was a big line and we were in the front desk area before I received the message that our new property was ready. So we had to go back to the place, pack everything up, come back to the front desk, be on line and then head to the new area. Mind you the distance between both areas to the front desk was 2 hilly miles. All that happened within 24 hours of our initial day. That being said the place was really nice for us and the kids it had pool jacuzzi gym, decent game rooms and arcades, as much amenities as advertised was wishing the ziplining and the camelback resort was included, also mini golf included for a $8 fee from opening to closing time which was very cool. Also despite the process and mishaps on the first 24 hours, gave it four stars the area and was nice due to what I described. Also be prepped as this is a resort feel not a typical Vrbo site feel. Very nice for a family and kids.
