Guadalupe River Road Retreat ligger mellan 2: e och 3: e korsningen, halvvägs mellan Gruene och Sattler. Denna oas på floden Guadalupe riktar sig till familjer och par som vill njuta av floden i en lugn miljö och komma undan de rika massorna och feststugorna.

Gäster i våra stugor har friheten att vandra 6 parken som tunnland under skuggan av majestätiska ekar, pekannötter och cypresser. Du kan njuta av en fantastisk utsikt över floden Guadalupe från hyttdäck och bänksvängningar, ta en tupplur i en hängmatta eller spela tennis dag eller natt på vår nybyggda tennisbana, och naturligtvis spendera tid i och på floden!

Floden är tillgänglig från två områden, en betongdocka med steg ner, eller via naturlig väg ner till ett sittområde under baldakin av två massiva cypresser. Tvärs över floden från fastigheten är en unik kalkstensutbredning huggen vid floden där folk ofta tycker om att hänga ut, leka i vattnet och titta på toobersna flyter genom.

Repeat Guests- Excellent Location & Host

This is our favorite place to stay in NB. We love River Road & even more love this property has direct river access. The owners are more than accommodating & friendly. This is our 3rd time back at this property & its everything & more. The natural wildlife & atmosphere is top notch.

Relaxing getaway

We had a great time!! The property is on a great spot on the river. Our house was closest to access to the river. Carlton and Laura were very welcoming and fun to visit with.

Fantastic hosts! Couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating! Absolutely perfect location - peaceful and quiet, secure, the most beautiful trees on the river!! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a tranquil spot to relax and enjoy the best of the Guadalupe!

THE BEST Place and Hosts

Spectacular 6 acres on a perfect stretch of river. Carlton and Laura are exceptional people - you are family from moment they meet you at the gate into their painstakingly maintained property, and they go out of their way to make your stay at their family place special. Sit in the river or in a hammock in the shade or by the firepit. And don’t miss all the fireflies at dusk! The best place imaginable by the river for a quick or a long getaway. Play with Abby the border collie, and if you’re lucky, go on a walkabout with the fancy geese. Your cabin will be spotless and even stocked with a few essentials (s’mores). Wish we could’ve stayed for a week or two. We are staying here from now on. Seriously, this place is the best and so are the owners.

Wonderful weekend

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at the Guadalupe River Road Retreat. It was our 4th time to stay at this Beautiful place. Carlton & Laura our fantastic host full of information about the area and see to it that your needs are met. The honeymoon cabin was very clean and comfortable for the 2 of us. Had everything we needed. Nice comfy bed , AC kept the cabin comfortable. BUT the views!! Our wonderful!! You are just steps away from the river! Easy access for tubing, Kayaking a rock beach area for children playing in the river. So much fun for the family. We will definitely be going back.

Perfect Couples Getaway

We had an incredible experience, even before our arrival. The hosts were exceptional, with communication, tips, instructions and super attentive in all ways possible and the cabin was just perfect for a weekend away. It was a surprise for my husband and he was certainly fascinated, with the peace, river access, and great location - Highly recommended.

Perfect find

My husband and I stayed at this property and felt it was the perfect find. The hosts were welcoming and so nice. We walked down to the water, set up our chairs and enjoyed the floaters passing. I highly recommend any of their rentals on this property.

Perfect relaxing getaway

The hosts were so friendly and had so many thoughtful personal touches that made us feel welcome! The cabin was clean and updated and adorable with everything we needed, and the river access was perfect! We loved the trees and shade and animals! It was such a great getaway and we will be back!

Perfect Getaway!

Location is amazing. Just a min walk from the river. Cabin was furnished with everything you could possibly need. The host even provided supplies to make s’more’s!! This is the cleanest rental we have stayed in. We will absolutely return!!

Gorgeous Spot Right on the River!

Grounds & spot on the river are breathtaking! It was wonderful waking up listening to the river & the birds & the surrounding nature. Cabin was cute, quaint & had everything that we needed. Carlton & Laura are wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!!

An Unexpected Hideaway off the Beaten Path

If you're looking for a quiet get away look no further. Quaint, beautiful and roomy home for 2 with full kitchen and walk-in shower. And don't forget to bring your tubes and river chairs. The calming waters of the Guadalupe await you out the back porch and a short walk down the stone steps for easy access to and a relaxing day on the river. There are also plenty of chairs to sit in just above the river bank. Enjoy your meals on the large back porch while watching the birds at the bird feeders and listening to the flow of the river below. There's plenty of room to take a walk around the beautiful tree covered property. And the wildlife come out at night! While enjoying supper on the porch we saw 2 foxes, a raccoon, and later a group of deer who come out to feed at night. Owners Laura and Carlton are also raising some ducks you can even enjoy visiting with up close. If you need anything during your stay, Laura and Carlton are just a stone's throw away on the property. If they don't have what you need or forgot, they can tell you where to get it nearby. They were great and friendly hosts. So glad we found this beautiful place. Little piece of paradise

Warm welcome by hosts including detailed information about the property and area. Cell service is not great but WiFi provided was excellent. The cleanest rental we have been to, and we have been to dozens this year. The wildlife on the property made it feel like you were in your own animal sanctuary. Water access was perfect, but the property also allowed tons of shade. Beautiful spot for morning coffee and a day full of fun on the river. We already want to come back!
