Best Vacation

We’ve been coming to HHI for our full family vacation for over 25 years. This home was absolutely perfect. It was very clean and spacious. My wife and I are 75 and the elevator was a big plus for us. The only drawback was the walk to the beach. But the younger family members did not mind and my wife and I were very happy to sit on the deck and enjoy the beautiful breeze and magnificent ocean view.

Excellent

This house is amazing! Perfect for large families or a group of girls like we had. With 2 bedrooms on each floor, everyone had privacy. We will be returning for sure.

Beautiful home with Quirks

Home is beautiful but showing wear and tear from all the use. Parking is constant shuffle for 4 cars, bushes limit ability to side of cars getting in and out.Electric to hot water to frst floor and elevator are inexplicably linked together so you can only use 1 option! We had no hot water to two showers for 2 days! Service time to repair was not prompt. Cleanliness of unit questionable with dirty clothes and rag left from cleaners and previous guests. Location was amazing. Third floor bedrooms are good for someone who likes to wake at dawn due to lack of window coverings. All in all we did have an amazing family vacation!

Perfect size for multiple families with close proximity of all that Hilton Head offers. Would highly recommend. Very responsive property management.

Always a great family week. Like the area. House was too far from beach. Pool was small. Hot tub never worked. Had some other maintenance issues but all in all a good week.

Reviewer Comments: This is not for a review but a survey to get back to management. 14 Singleton was a tremendous disappointment based upon our expectations. I've stayed at 2 other Singleton properties as guests and this was by far the worse. Upon arrival, the place was not cleaned. We wasted hours trying to bring it up to speed before other relatives arrived. Appreciated the Property Manager showing up the next day and getting someone out to do what should have already been done. Stairs were unvaccummed and all of us were sneezing. Walls were filthy. One of the beds had signs of ejaculation on the covers...2nd first floor bedroom; food wrapper on fireplace 2nd floor; cup and lighter on pool deck; food crumbs on the floor in several rooms; a shirt food on the floor partially under the dresser in the twin bedroom on 2nd floor; baby spiders on the 2nd floor; windows in the common area not clean; pool was filthy. Photographs were submitted to the property manager of much described. Some things people were embarrassed to tell us about because we had hyped up the trip so and they didn't want to hurt our feelings. Very disappointing. Do not place this publicly.

We went down with a group of 16 for The Heritage. The house is HUGE! The pool was great, definitley recommend heating it. The views were amazing and we could not have asked for a better stay. We went to Salt for lunch one day - beach bar by The Marriott, and to Coco's on the beach the next for hamburgers/hotdogs and fun drinks. LOVED everything about our trip, have already been talking about next year!

There were a few issues,but considering that the area was still in recovery from the hurricane, we overlooked them. The security system had to be reset every 12 hours, or it would continue to beep. Alarm company said they would come fix it but never did. We had a handicap person in our group so thank goodness for the elevator. There is a lot of stair climbing in this home! I wish the kitchen was on the first floor where the large patio is, and the wet bar was on the second floor. Kind of a strange set up, having the main gathering area on a separate floor from the kitchen. Very nice home, but it is set up strange..

There was some damage within some of the bathrooms that existed before we arrived. Would be nice if those things were corrected first but they did not cause issues for us. The rental phone app came in very handy.

Why Us?

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We lived in the beautiful home for the weekend. The second day we started to notice the neighbors starting to continue to stalk us, and start to take pictures everyday. The stalking continue until the last morning we were there. Racism is real! If you are African American, I don’t advise you to rent. Also, we basically stayed in the home the whole time because it was nice. We cooked, and ate in everyday. We bought around $800 worth of groceries. We had so much unopened food to where we wanted to bless the person(s) who was coming to get the place back together, because we didn’t want to throw the food away. These role are charging me for leaving brand new food on the counter stocked up like it was at a grocery store. There was no food left in the refrigerators because you have two. Overall we feel that we were discriminated from day two, but the home was nice and spacious.

Great getaways for friends

The property was beautiful and well designed for a big group. We are “older” and appreciated the convenience of the elevator. The dual living spaces, pool and spa were perfect for multiple activity interests. The sunrise and sunset views from the balconies were stunning. Great kitchen with amenities. Close to restaurants and shopping! We had a wonderful long weekend!
