OSWEGATCHIE ADIRONDACK CABIN RETREAT

Vår Oswegatchie Adirondack Cabin Retreat är byggd med rustik elegans i åtanke. Kabinen är belägen på 1. 5 hektar vackert Adirondack skogsland omgivet av 13.000 hektar statligt mark i västra Adirondack Mountains med västra Branch av Oswegatchie River cirka 100 meter från ytterdörren. Nära kabinen finns många omgivande dammar som franska damm, lång damm, rund damm, vallång, öring damm, klar damm och lera damm som är alla från 100 meter bort till inom två miles. Ett spårhuvud för Jake's Pond finns i slutet av Long Pond Road bara ca 3 miles away. Det finns kartor på stugan för din användning för att personifiera ditt eget Adirondack Adventure!

För snöskoter finns kabinen nära Lewis County # 5 och # 8 spår - alla vackra spår till någonstans i staten. En fantastisk 30 mil åka sydost till Stillwater Reservoir sedan Old Forge; norr till Harrisville och Star Lake; eller upp i fem dammar vildmarken som är österut på Long Pond Road. Vi har gjort stugan bekväm för vinterbeläggning med gott om trailerparkering, en ugn och en tillval elektrisk spis för att hålla dig varm.

Vår Oswegatchie Adirondack stuga var specialbyggd av en lokal mästerskapsmaskin. Stugan ligger på en nivå med en stor täckt uteplats i ett stort välutrustat kök, badrum, tvättstuga, mysigt vardagsrum och tre sovrum.

Oavsett vilken säsong, varje dag är vacker. Sommarsolen från vattnet, vintern allt i vitt eller hösten med sina intensiva färger. Stugan är omgiven av stora vita tallar, hemlövskog och lönnträ för färg och doft. Kabinen är cirka fjorton miles från staden Croghan och sex miles från Belfort Inn i Belfort.

Njut av mycket R + R-tid, simning, vandring, kajakpaddling, paddling, fiske, jakt, ett spel med hästskor, ett lägereld under stjärnan eller säsongsbetonade aktiviteter som sirap på våren på många lokala sockerbuskar och vintrar av släde , snöskoter, längdskidåkning och snöskor.

Perfect place for our trip

We actually got 2 cabins for our party of 8, they were very close to each other and worked out perfectly! The owner was easy to reach if we needed anything and very accommodating!

Work away from Home Cabin Retreat

Nice cabin, beautiful area with nice hiking trails. Great internet, I was able to work remotely without a hitch during the workday. Hike to waterfalls in the evening!

The cabin was perfect for a little get away. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We were even blessed with snow allowing for a nice treck through the woods. So pretty.

The pictures don’t do it justice!

My husband and I took my parents here for a Memorial Day weekend and we had the absolute best time. The cabin is thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need from kitchen utensils to books and movies. The WiFi was strong for easy communication back home. And we really enjoyed the hikes to the nearby waterfalls. Erin is a wonderful host and we highly recommend this wonderful, comfortable, spacious cabin.

Family weekend getaway

This property did not dissapoint and was perfect for our family getaway. We rented both properties side by side. The screened in porch and covered firepit area were great for our rainy day and the private beach was perfect on sunny day. The owners, Dave and Erin were wonderful to work with. Very responsive to every question I had and provided us with eveything we needed. We would definitly stay here again.

Snowmobiling

What a great place to stay, and so close to some great riding. So accommodating, and has everything you will need for your Adirondack getaway. I highly recommend the area and property. All the people we meet were so friendly. If you chose to stay, plan on making a trip to the Buckhorn for some awesome food, drinks and staff. Great experience.

Nice location; fun lake; deceptive advertising

Overall, Lewis County is a nice spot. The house was 15 minutes away from Croghan and was comfortable with the exception of the squeakiest box springs on the beds I have ever encountered. Also, the photos and description are deceptive. From the main angle, it looks like it's a cabin alone in the woods. Imagine our unpleasant surprise to find there is another, huge house whose back porch is about 100 feet away from the back door, which means that if the people in that house are loud and having fun, the noise drowns out your own group around the back porch fire pit. No privacy and annoyingly loud neighboring rental residence detracted from the experience considerably. Aside from that, there was a nice private lake with kayaks and row boat available. No fish in the lake that we could discern, but nice for swimming and rowing. Overall, a nice stay, but I think the owners should be a lot more honest about the way-too-close other rental right on top of this one.

Perfect private beach getaway in an oasis

This house is immaculate, far exceeded expectations. There was not one item that was not in the house or on the property that anyone could need. There is a private sandy beach with plenty of canoes, kayaks and boats. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating as I had the pleasure of personally meeting her. My family, my husky puppies and I have no complaints whatsoever and made memories to last a lifetime. There is no rental or location that will top the spot.

Cute-Comfy-Clean Cabin

We traveled to do some snowmobiling, and we enjoyed everything about our trip. The cabin is super clean and cute, and we were able to ride from the driveway. Erin is super kind and sweet. Never would stay again or recommend

Would NOT stay again. The property your staying at has a "garage" which two people were at every night. The one girl kept opening it and looking at us at the fire like were getting watched. The truck pulled in and didnt even take inconsideration we have kids running around. The comforters in both queen beds had what looked as if was blood stained and of course the washer broke the day of us coming so we couldnt even wash them. The room with the single beds was not clean. There was an odor and it was super dusty. The kids couldn't even sleep in there with how dusty it was. The airhockey table was COVERED in dust, it was honestly unreal. Thank god we had allergy medicine. The dresser in the room was not dusted at all. So I was sent an attachment when we booked and it said firewood was included as well as trash bags. Well when we got there the only fire wood that was there was 2 logs and boards. When we emailed the owner she said firewood was not included (even tho is clearly states it is with what she sent me) and she became VERY snarky and implied we were ungrateful. She had her neice drop off 4 logs for a 3 night stay which lasted maybe an hour. We had to go out and buy firewood when we could of brought it from home. When something gets sent to you and says what’s included you would expect it to be there. It also says trash bags are included because you have to take your trash. There was NO trash bags. Again something we would of brought from home. The owner did offer to take 1 bag for us. We paid a cleaning fee and we are super unsatisfied with this property was. The property has the beach and had kayaks for us to use. This was great and the view was beautiful. Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again. There was false advertising of what was included and then when we inquired about it we received unprofessional attitude.

Wonderful Weekend

My boyfriend and I had a great long weekend here paddling around the different ponds! The owners were very personable and knowledgeable about the area, different activities and places to shop/eat. We stayed for my birthday and they even added a special treat of cake for us. The cabin is very spacious and is fully stocked-just bring your own food and you're all set! There is also a covered area out back where the fire pit and grill are, so if the weather turns, you can still be outside.

Amazing experience in the heart of the Adirondacks woods!!!! Tidy, clean cabin with all necessities!

Was perfect for our 3 day New Year’s stay! Beautiful wooden cabin, very rustic! Outdoor area is well equipped with all necessary stuff for grilling and fire! Huge plus the deer themed sheets and wildlife decorations! made us feel good! That region got so much snow in winter, so we felt in wonderland during our stay!

Cozy cabin

My family thoroughly enjoyed staying here to celebrate Thanksgiving together. The cabin is cozy and clean. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and pans for cooking. The setting is absolutely beautiful tucked in a forest of evergreen trees. We took advantage of the kayaks provided and awesome nearby hikes. Highly recommend!

Fantastic getaway

The place was really beyond our expectations, upscale accommodations, well equipped, clean and in a beautiful area. I frequently stay a VRBO listing; our hosts Dave and Erin were the best hosts I’ve ever had. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly without being intrusive. Definitely would rent from them again!
