Peace and quiet at beautiful cottage and beach!

Wonderful cottage, providing everything you need to make the stay enjoyable. Short stroll to quiet beach. We absolutely loved staying here.

Back again!

Had the opportunity to return a month after our first stay, and couldn't resist. A cozy little house that feels like home. It has everything we need, and is the perfect base for exploring the 90 mile beach. Beautifully quiet and peaceful... only the sound of crashing waves and wattle birds.

Family stay

Ideal location with just a short walk over the sand dunes to the beach. The backyard slide was a hit with kids. The house had everything we needed plus more. Can’t wait to visit here again. Anita, Sam, Yolanda & Orla

Quiet escape

Beautiful beach holiday

The property was very clean and all our needs had been carefully considered. Having small children, a highlight for us were the toys there for them to play with. We had a great experience and would definitely visit again.

A great quiet place

The property is basic but had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. The communication from our hosts was friendly, clear and concise. The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to a beautiful beach which we had to ourselves and is surrounded by lots of native birdlife. I would definately recommend and would like to stay here again myself.

Perfect coastal bush locale

Delightfully rustic and comfortable accommodation with a sunny veranda to sit and enjoy breakfast and birdlife. Everything you need in the kitchen. A stroll over the sand dune and you can have the whole beach to yourself. Communication with our host during our stay was excellent.

Beach getaway

Cute log cabin more stylish than the usual basic beach shack in the area. Right opposite the beach, which was pretty wild when we were there, might be more suitable for swimming in different conditions. Great spot for relaxing. Lovely big windows looking out on to trees and birds.

Good house and location. Bottled water was supplied. However, fyscreens not fitted to all windows. Toilet window would not close. Kitchen window was locked. Could do with decobwebbing. Overall, a good getaway place.

Schönes Haus am Meer

"The Honeysuckles" ist ein geräumiges Haus, ausgestattet mit allem, was man im Urlaub brauchen könnte! Wir haben die Nähe zum Strand und zum Ort Seaspray sehr genossen. Die Vermieterin war gut zu erreichen und die ausgelegten Informationen hilfreich! Zur Perfektionierung unseres Aufenthaltes hätte neben dem Hängestuhl nur eine zweite gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeit auf der Terrasse gefehlt! Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber!

Lovely short break!

Overall experience was great! Beautiful, cosy & comfortable little beach house. Great communication from the owner. Perhaps having satellite internet by Starlink would be great in the future so you can watch movies. Highly recommend.

Retreat from the hustle and bustle.

Two friends had an amazing stay for four nights in a property that had 'Welcome' stamped all over it. We walked into the living room where the fireplace had the makings for a fire all ready to go at the strike of a match. That was a first in our many years of experience with properties that had a fireplace - no one had ever made ready a fire for us to just light. The linen was perfect - 100% cotton. There has been much thought and care put into making us feel pampered and valued in the quality of equipment and furniture. We loved the baby magpies that would come up every time we stepped outside; their fearlessness was a joy to encounter. Thank you Melinda and family for making available your property for us to enjoy a time of retreat with the Lord and His Word.
