Nice Cozy Unit

Nicely appointed unit! But RIGHT next to train tracks, and the train comes through all times of the day and night - sometimes loudly. Convenient to lots of what the city has to offer though.

Great stay!

Very clean with nice amenities. I appreciated the gated entrance and the stocked items in the kitchen for paper towels, soap, laundry detergent. I would definitely stay here again!

Better than a hotel

For an extended stay and visit with family in the area, Tobacco 212 was just what we needed. It was much better than a hotel room. It provided a private bedroom, full kitchen and nice space to sit and visit. And the central location was perfect for everywhere we needed to go. Thx for accommodating us so well!

Peaceful, Quaint, and Cozy Stay in West Nashville

Tobacco 212 was perfect for a long weekend! We primarily spent our time exploring the city and walking A LOT. We were able to come “home” and unwind after a long day of galavanting. If you prefer the peace and quiet (which we did) over the hustle and bustle of the downtown core, then Tobacco 212 is a great choice. Kevin and his team were also super accommodating allowing us to check in early so we could get a jump start on our weekend in Nashville (huge thank you!).The only criticism I have is that the bathroom (specifically the shower) could use a good clean along with a new shower head.

Relaxing Nashville

This was our first time staying in Nashville so we didnt know what to expect. Tobacco 212 was a perfect spot to come back to and relax or make something to eat before going out. The music at the bar was amazing! Only downfall was the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.

15 year anniversary

The place was nice. Had everything we needed. Location was great. Train didnt bother us at all. Nice bar area by the pool with a refrigerator to keep your beverages cold. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful property site! So clean and comfy and beautifully renovated! Huge bathroom!!! Within driving distance of so many sites! Would recommend this to anyone who loves history! Amazing what can be done with a former tobacco barn!!!

Perfect spot for Thanksgiving get away!

The unit was great-very clean, updated and very nicely decorated. There was plenty of space for me and my husband. Proximity to downtown was perfect. The train noise was the only down side but it really wasn’t that bad.

Nashville Fun

My Hubby and I stayed for 8 days, and my bro and his wife for two. The property was beautifully furnished, very secluded and peaceful. The bed was so comfy! The location was perfect. Close enough for a quick Uber if we wanted to party on Broadway, and easy for us to figure out on our own if we drove. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect

My wife and I were going on our honeymoon and wanted a place close to downtown but something that gave us privacy and felt like home. Boy did it. The 1865 was a wonderful place to stay and when we go back Nashville will definitely stay there again.

Great property. It was an easy & short trip into downtown. The property had everything we needed with a little more than we expected. I thought the gym was super cool & loved the train coming by, ( maybe once in a day..I love trains & this was a feature that drew me to this property). The area was very quiet & restful after returning from downtown...just what we wanted!

All good. Very responsive. Not anything really with in walking distance but they didn’t say there was. Uber was very quick and easy One recommendation is to add a towel bar in the bathroom

New, comfortable & clean

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while we moved our kids in to college. It was a welcome, nicely decorated space to return to after a long, hot day of lugging boxes. The bathroom is spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the living room has ample seating. Having read the other reviews, we knew about the possibility of freight trains passing by. Only once did that happen (in the morning) but we were already awake. There is obvious construction going on next door, but it did not disturb us. We would definitely stay here again.

The train noise is....

Ok. So I read the reviews prior to reserving. I saw the comments about the train. Seriously the train was NOT an issue at all. There is construction next door. So if you're an early riser. No problem. The property is really nice. The unit was spotless and cozy. And I really loved all of the available FREE parking. Enjoyed my stay.

Had a great time!

Not wanting to stay downtown, we selected this property for its layout and charming appeal. It didn't disappoint! It was perfect for my husband and I, including the ability to entertain. The only thing we did different than originally planned, was halfway through our trip, we rented a car. We tried Uber, scooters and walking but the cost for Uber and the scooters was prohibitive for the two of us, walking downtown was a bit too far, and not having a car didn't allow us to travel outside the area with any type of freedom or more expensive fair (going over to Opryland was about $60 round trip for Saturday night, over holiday weekend).

Overall the property was very clean and nice. However you do hear the train blowing at night as it runs right behind. We also had some lady walk into our room one morning (door was locked) I’m not sure if she was supposed to be cleaning the room next-door and mix them up or what happened there but it was very odd. Because she didn’t say anything when she saw us she just walked back out. Other than that it is a nice place to stay!

1st time / Great time in Nashville

This was the first time ever vacationing in Nashville. We had an absolute wonderful time! We were a little disappointed that we were booked into the newly built building as opposed to the original 1865, Tobacco auction building. Also, may be my fault, but I did not read that there were train tracks 40 feet from the building. This, however, was not a problem! They are going very slow, and unless they blow the horn, which is very infrequent, you can barely hear the train through the walls. We had one – two blows of the horn each night, but fell right back to sleep. It was actually kind of historically charming. We would absolutely stay here again! Very clean and very nice!
