Really nice place !!

I had the harbor view and it was great to watch the boats come and go. Restaurant was good w a wonderful sunset. Room was clean and as advertised. Would stay here again !!

We stayed 2 nights for my husbands Dr check-up. This was an amazing place. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant/bar next to the hotel was very nice. Good food, good music and met several locals that were very friendly. The view of the boats and sunset was an added surprise. We will definitely stay here again.

Convenient

This property is convenient to the beach and restaurants. Very clean and the check in was flawless. The Tiki Bar attached to the property had great food (however the service on one of the days was very slow). The two nights of our stay had a great band. The marina was very relaxing. Very close to the Sarasota airport, Owen’s Fish Camp and Cortex Fishing Village

Great place to stay!

We loved it! We could have used a few more towels but we were told ahead of time for longer stays to bring our own. We stayed 3 nights. We got 3 bath towels for the two of us together. We could buy more if we wanted but we made it work. Loved the view. Loved the Tarpon Tiki lounge and the pool. Very clean.

Had a great time for my convention stay

Was in town for a convention and love the waterfront location. No red tide The newly redorated restaurant and tiki bar was really nice with great food and drink. Live music early evenings was nice Great room, slept great on new bed and big screen HD TV, many digital channels I’ll be back February for my next convention!

For the value it was a good place to stay-nothing fancy, clean, comfortable bed and easy access to major roads. It is near the airport so a lot of airport noise, landing and takeoffs = but no air traffic after 11 pm or before 7 am. If you are looking for a bargain in the Sarasota area, I would recommend.

Clean and comfy

Enjoyed our stay very much. More towels would have been nice for the length of time we were there but we were prepared for that by a previous review and knew to bring some. No issues with this room.

The setting right on the marina with water and boats just a dozen steps from the door makes it feel like you're at a resort. Breakfast at Cragans is a 3 minute walk. The Tarpon Bay grille right on the property has music and good food. It's hopping on Friday and Saturday. All around 5 stars

It was a beautiful vacation! The host was very helpful when I had a question. The room was exactly what I expected. It was very clean and comfortable. It was directly on the bay. The views of the sunset were gorgeous. The property was nice. The pool was only a few steps from the room as well as the on site restaurant / bar. I would definitely book again.

Pretty good but some maintenance needed.

Overall, nice location and place to stay for the price. Note: first two days the A/C was not working properly but fixed on the last day of our visit. Also, the faucet handle is very hard to move back and forth and the shower light flickers off and on.

Beautiful view

The value for the room is good for short term stays. The king size bed is not new, it was most definitely used regularly by the indentations but it is comfortable. There is no dining area within the room. However, plenty of space just outside the room as part of the hotel property. Kitchenette included small fridge, microwave and single serve hotel coffee pot. Close to airport, beaches, quiet area in the morning and day time. Hotel was accommodating and a wonderful resource for any local questions.

Loved having the bars attached. They had music on the weekends which we enjoyed. The pool is very nicely heated. Super easy check in and out. Communication with the owner and manager was great. The place is small but we expected that. There is tons of storage and the king size bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the view of the harbor out our door and could easily walk in the neighbourhood behind that is right on the bay. It is a drive to any bars restaurants and the beach but we knew that.

This is a old updated motel room with a worn leather recliner. Desk/chair no table to eat at. Picnic tables under tiki hut outside door Not for extended stay over 2 nights. The place is clean to look at but floors where dirty walking from bathroom to the bed our feet where filthy don’t know last time mopped the tile floor. The furniture also needed cleaned. bed was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed driving to the nearby beaches and found several good restaurants

WORST PLACE EVER! STAY AWAY!!!!!

Property manager has not refunded my stay after only staying 3 nights out of the 6 booked. Told me to contact the owner. Vagrants gather behind the property and have loud, obnoxious parties right near your entrance to your space. Had to call the police in order to go to bed. Then there is a bar next door that plays loud, obnoxious music till late hours on a Wednesday night. Had to go find other sleeping arrangements in order to have peace and quiet.

Opened door to a wad of hair on the floor. Mess under air conditioner. Bedspread with fist sized brown spot. Pillows were less than comfortable - worn out. Shower had not been cleaned. Room had an odor of urine or ammonia. One bedside lamp did not work. Locks were outdated on entry door. No additional blankets. No way to sweep floor-no broom, etc. Floor was filthy. Could not control air conditioner without being too hot or too cold. Right across street from Sarasota airport, planes overhead all night long. Would not recommend.

My room was clean, the property was clean and the view of the marina was great. I enjoyed the pool and the drinks at the tiki bar. The servers were very friendly. It was in a good location with a short drive to my daughter’s apartment. Thanks for sharing your place. Hope to come back!

Searching for condo

Check in girl wasn’t friendly. I declined getting daily breakfast buffet because it sounded like mostly rolls breads waffles
 I’m looking for omelet bar. That said she neglected to tell me that I could get coffee! Instead I was buying coffee at diner next door. The girls in morning were lovely and when I asked if I could buy coffee they told me it’s free. The restaurant food delicious! But the grouper dinner 47 crazy expensive!

Spring Vacation

Good for a short stay. Only issue we had was not enough lighting. My wife had a hard time w make-up every morning because of not enough light. Floor was dirty, if you walked around room in bare feet they were black. For the price it was a very good stay. Did call 0n-site manager # listed on Vrbo but never a response re the lighting.
