Tallarna i jul - Nära avbildade klippor

Pittoreska lakefront stuga på Furnace Lake. Det är bekvämt beläget precis utanför M28 under julen, mindre än 5 miles från centrala Munising, början på den avbildade klipporna National Lakeshore. Det finns 2 sovrum och 1. 5 bad. Stugan har 1 king size-säng, 2 fulla sängar, en bäddsoffa i full storlek och en soffa. Kom upp och njut av avbildade klippor och över ett dussin vattenfall i området. Furnace Lake kan användas för icke-motoriserade aktiviteter, men simning rekommenderas inte.

Utrymmet
Det andra sovrummet här brukade vara ett jacuzzi-badrum. Jacuzzi-badkaret togs bort, och nu finns det en säng där inne. Rummet har fortfarande en toalett och diskbänk i det. Vi har lagt till en gardin för att blockera toaletten från utsikten från sängen, och så småningom kommer den att tas bort. Detta hem har INTE central luftkonditionering men med all skugga från träden och vinden från sjön, förblir det vanligtvis ganska bekvämt. Hemmet har en vacker utsikt och är väldigt tyst och lugnt. Vi hoppas att du gillar det lika mycket som vi gör :) Hundar är tillåtna, men det finns en återbetalningsavgift på 75 $ som måste läggas till.

Our stay at The Pines

Had a great stay! Did a lot of fishing off the dock and took our kayaks out. Perfect place to come back to after shopping, going to the beach, boat tours and hiking!

Picturesque location

We loved staying here! Danielle made everything very easy and was responsive with any questions we had. She had great recommendations for us. The view of the lake was amazing! We highly recommend The Pines!

This is our second time staying at The Pines. This is the perfect location for adventuring in Munising. The kitchen has everything we need to make meals, and the hosts are fantastic about anticipating the extras that make our stay extra special and effortless.

we came up to the UP from illinois for our honeymoon, and we had the BEST time! this house was so perfect & danielle was truly the best host. the house was so cute, cozy, and clean and had everything we needed. we are picky with the air temp in houses, and the AC was 10/10 and kept us nice and cool! we would totally recommend and stay again with danielle!

Danielle is a great host and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. Midweek the lp tank on the grill needed to be exchanged. Within 15 minutes of me contacting her, it was done. We appreciated having a second sink and toilet, a well equipped kitchen, and using the row boat and kayaks. We enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful area, great accommodations

The pictures do not do this cabin justice! Cabin is clean, cozy and comfortable! Especially loved the outdoor space. Large yard and very private. Cooked all meals in the kitchen (10 days) and found it very adequate. I would highly recommend this property!

Nice place in Munising

Our family of 6 and 2 dogs stayed at the property in late August 2024. The house was clean and had everything we needed, including a rowboat. We spent some time on the little lake and explored the Munising area and beyond.

Anniversary Trip

My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights! We had an amazing time & Danielle was wonderful to work with. Loved being so close to pictured rocks with so many things to do. We also loved fishing on the lake, especially my hubby! Would definitely book again. Great trails for riding arc’s from the house, major bonus!

The Pines in Christmas

Really enjoyed our stay at the Pines. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds and very nice furniture. Outdoor swing overlooking little Furnace Lake was nice. Danielle responded quickly to any questions I had. Very good experience!

Wonderful home

We had a great time at The Pines. The hosts were very responsive to questions, the house has everything you could possibly need (including some nice homey touches) and the beds are comfy! We were there in the buggy season so did not use the outdoor spaces. We were very thankful for that big sunroom/porch to enjoy coffee and happy hour before and after our outings. Overall a great stay!

Perfect location, clean, and amazing host

The house is on a beautiful private lake that is so peaceful in the morning. They have such a great setup and left little things like dog dishes out for us to use which I think goes a long way. The little details they make sure to include so it feels just like home. Literally 2 mins from Christmas and 10 from Muinising. Our host was so responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. Definitely will stay again !

The Pines in Christmas

We had an enjoyable stay at The Pines. The property manager checked in to make sure everything was OK and responded quickly to our questions. Our dog liked swimming in Furnace Lake. Foggy's (great food) and the casino are within walking distance!

Excellent Cottage

This property is wonderful. Fishing off the dock and sunset watching in the evening are just a couple perks. Property is pet friendly and our dog was a happy camper here! The host was wonderful and even offered a kennel if we didn’t want to travel with ours. Close to all the Picture Rocks excursions you may want to do. We would for sure rent again if we come back to the area. And, the bed in the main room was amazing! Best sleep we’ve had in a long time!

I met my husband Kevin on a "girls" snowmobile trip in February of 2011. I was visiting from Byron in the lower peninsula and he has lived in the Munising area for most of his life. We got to know each other and fell in love via technology (Facebook and phone calls/texting). We were married on Grand Island in July 2012. After living after apart for the first 11 years of our relationship, I was finally able to move up here in March 2022. We love living near all of our properties and being able to work together to give our guests the personal attention and service they deserve. We love sharing this beautiful area with all who come to visit!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We have this property because it was included in a package deal from the previous owner of the White Pine Lodge. We love having a cute, little cottage on the water. It is the only property we have in our portfolio that has lake access, so we include couple kayaks and rowboat for guest use. We love being able to offer a heated garage for our winter enthusiasts as well as some beautiful sunsets all year long! While this property is not set up the way we would have preferred, we are trying to make the best of what we have to work with.
