Charmig stuga med privat pool, elegant spa och pentry utomhus

CALMAR Cottage ligger i den norra församlingen St. Peter, en (1) minut från den världsberömda Mullins Beach och Royal Westmoreland Club och Indulgence Spa.

Stugan ligger 5 minuter från Speightstown och 15 minuter från Holetown där du hittar lokala och internationella shopping, restauranger, postkontor, medicinska kontor och banker.

Vid ankomst till stugan får gästerna:
- en gratis flaska vin
- vatten på flaska och läsk
- ett prov av söta godis

Detta rymliga 3 sovrum, 2 badrum, stuga sover 1-6 personer i två (2) King sängar och en (1) Queen bed.

Alla rum är utrustade med luftkonditioneringsanläggningar och platt-tv med kabel. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng och eget badrum.

Gästerna kan njuta av Calmars privata pool eller lounge i avkopplingsområdet och titta på sitt favoritprogram på 70-tums-TV.

Gazebo erbjuder ett intimt avkopplande område med ett 5-sitsigt Sunrise Spa inklusive hydroterapeter, LED-upplyst vattenfall och Bluetooth-ljudsystem som alla är omgivna av palmer och tropiska växter.

Stugan har också ett fullt utrustat gym med ett övre däck som kan användas för yoga.

Det utomhuskök och grillområdet består av en midnattblå bänkskiva och rostfritt stålkran. Skåpen ger förvaring och ett litet kylskåp finns också. En gas- eller kolgrill tillhandahålls.

Det fullt utrustade och eleganta köket har en vacker bänkskiva i granit och bakplatta. LG-kylskåp i rostfritt stål, gasugn med dubbla ugnar och diskmaskin kompletterar detta ultramoderna område.
En mikrovågsugn, brödrost, mixer, kaffebryggare och vattenkokare finns också.

WiFi finns tillgängligt i hela stugan.

För våra yngre gäster erbjuder vi en spjälsäng, spjälsäng och en barnstol.

Linne och städtjänster tillhandahålls för stugan varannan (2) nätter. Bad / hand / tvätt handdukar samt badhanddukar och poolhanddukar tillhandahålls.
Stugan är utrustad med tvättmaskin, strykbräda och strykjärn.

Great place to stay as a family

Booking was seamless with lots of contact from host. Being picked up from the airport was great as no hassle and then the accommodation was perfect for our needs - 3 big bedrooms so kids had their own space, great outdoor space with lovely jacuzzi and pool and fully kitted out kitchen and living area was lovely - would stay again in a heartbeat as right near Mullins beach where we swam every day and went to cicis and seashed for food - our hosts were also amazing and we will be back

Wonderful stay in Mulins

We had a fabulous time here- the location of the home was wonderful. We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants and a local convenience store. What we really enjoyed the most was having the pool/ hot tub/patio and outdoor grilling and eating to start and end each day with. The rooster found his perch in the tree, announcing his arrival at 6pm every evening and the monkeys played tag on the roof a couple of mornings. Charles and Eunice were so helpful and welcoming! We had an amazing time!

Lovely Stay

The hosts and housekeeper were very informative and accommodating. The cottage is small and comfortable and the outdoor patio is a bonus. The location is great. A lovely stay!

Location, Location, Location

Just returned from a great 12 night stay at Calmar Cottage. We loved the Mullins area and hope to return here again. The cottage is a quick walk to the beach, great restaurants ( Sea Shed a must!!), & welcoming rum shops. The gas station at the end of the street is great for essentials - well stocked. You can easily walk into Speightstown. We loved Adrian’s Beach Bar and rented chairs/umbrellas there most days. The cottage is cozy, with all the amenities you need. Beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the housekeeping service every 2 days. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood. While we mostly swam at the beach, we did use the pool and the hot tub. Having Charles pick us up at the airport and return us as well was a great service as we did not rent a car. Overall, we had a grand stay.

Perfect Spot

Calmar cottage was the perfect spot for the first leg of our trip. Tony made us feel very much at home and very welcomed. The special treats upon arrival were a nice touch. The location was great. An easy walk to beaches, dining and Speightstown. The monkeys were fun to watch. With airport transfers included, this was the ideal place for us. We'll be back for sure. Thanks Tony, Eulene, Eunice and Jackie.

Excellent, beautiful and safe location

The property was exactly as you see it from the pictures. Charles was an excellent host - made us feel very welcomed ( plus the treats were delicious!). The pool and jacuzzi were used everyday - the kids especially enjoyed. The location was perfect- walking distance to Mullins beach and local restaurants (Shea Shed a must). It is a quiet area and felt very safe as first time visitors.

Family holiday at Calmar Cottage

Perfect place for our family holiday. Charles is a great host and went out of way to make our first time in Barbados very special. Excellent location with plenty to do within walking distance around Mullins and Speightstown. We particularly enjoyed the lovely pool and garden in a peaceful neighbourhood.

The villa was exactly as described a 3 minute walk to the beach the pictures of the pool area don’t do it justice the pool is private and shady for the most iof the day the children loved jumping in the pool first thing in the morning

Wonderful house!

We loved staying at Calmar Cottage. It was a perfect location wtih a two minute walk to Mullins Beach and several restaurants. The house itself was comfortable. We loved eating outside on the veranda in the oasis of a backyard. We used the pool and hot tub everyday. Everyone slept comfortably on the beds in the AC. Plenty of ice and filtered water from the fridge. We also enjoyed seeing the monkeys in the mornings. We'd stay here again without hesitation. Charles and Eunice were lovely.

Wonderful host, wonderful house, wonderful location

We rented this wonderful house with another couple in February 2018. Charles met us at the airport (what a great bonus!) and drove us back to his wonderful house where there were amazing treats prepared upon our arrival. The house is located just steps away from Mullins Beach and you can spend your day in the sea or in his great pool. We spent our time in Barbados on catamarans (highly recommended), on various beaches, exploring the island or just resting at the house and in the pool. After 24 hours we felt that we had been there a week because we were so relaxed! Charles was around to help us with anything we needed and was able to provide fantastic advice about the island. He and his team are great hosts that we couldn't recommend highly enough! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

What more can you ask for?! This home is located in a great location. Mullins beach is within a 2 min walk with options for dinning and take away food. Many sightseeing options are within a short drive or ride on the local bus. Charles, Eunice and Eulene make you feel at home and provide great recommendations for touring. Linens and towels are changed every two days along with general housekeeping. The home was a cozy place to wake up and come home to at the end of the day. Air conditioning keeps the bedrooms cool and the beds are comfortable. The main room has a big couch and large screen TV ideal for movie nights. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with a dishwasher. There is a washer and dryer on site if you need to wash any clothing. Our teenagers loved using the fully equipped gym, hot tub and pool, and appreciated having their own rooms to relax in. Monkeys visited us a few times and the stars visible from the backyard at night were stunning. Us adults spent a ton of time sipping coffee and wine, and munching on snacks while sitting on the comfy patio furniture near the pool. The place is equipped with wifi strong enough for Zoom meetings and did not fail with multiple people using it at the same time. Thank you for such a great visit, Charles, Eunice and Eulene!

Perfect Stay

We have just come home from a two week stay at Calmar Cottage over Christmas and New Year. It was bliss. The pool was lovely and the hot-tub a bonus we had not expected. We rented a car and made our own way to the proper because we had been to the island before and knew our way. We had a warm welcome, drinks in the fridge, plus some beautiful cakes, fruit and a bottle of wine. They had also put up a fantastic christmas tree decorated with sea themed decorations. Under the tree was a gift for each of us. Very thoughtful. Maxine and Charles could not have done more to make our stay easier. Helping us book turtle trips and advice on the food truck (parks at the end of the road with some of the best food we had all trip) were particularly useful. If we wanted anything we just had to ask. The location is great a few minutes walk to the beach. The petrol station stocks emergency supplies and there are one or two places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk. The buses are easy if you want to go up to one of the nearby towns for more choice. We loved meeting Thor, the dog, plus his chums. They were so quite and well behaved as well as being adorable softies. The house is very well cared for and was cleaned every other day (allowing for festive holidays). The kitchen had all the equipment we needed and the BBQ was a real bonus and we eat out on the patio at least half the time. The beds are very comfy and the air conditioning meant we all slept very well. The TV is HUGE. You need to remember the DVD player is not compatible with UK discs, we had our favourite christmas movie (Elf) on a US version so we were fine. Our flight home was not until the evening and as there were no guests that night we could leave our bags and use the outside shower to clean up after a day on the beach, this enabled us to get the very most out of our time and was very much appreciated. I only wish we knew what we were up to next Christmas, I would book again in an instant.

A gem of a stay in an excellent location!

The property is a great space for 6 people to stay. We were 4 adults and 2 young boys. All rooms were clean, of generous size with huge beds! Great kitchen, well equipped with every gadget and gizmo you could need. Great living area with full size dining table, big sofa and mega TV with all the apps you’d expect. Amazing pool, hot tub and comprehensive gym! Location to a perfect for a 2-min walk to the beautiful Mullins Beach. All beach towels were provided.Whilst the villa is amazing, it has a the kindness and generosity of Charles and his family that sets this place apart! Charles is an exceptional host! Would highly recommend stayed no here! We had a fabulous stay!

Kleine oase

Voor ons was dit een super plek! Net even weg van de drukkere straat in een prettige kleinschalige lokale buurt met vrijstaande huizen. Mooi afgezonderde tuin met fraai zwembad en jacuzzi. De gastheer en vrouw uitermate vriendelijk en gastvrij. Ondanks wat technische mankementen van apparatuur in het huis (die ook wel snel zijn verholpen) hebben wij het erg naar de zin gehad. Wat ons betreft is het wel handig om een auto te huren zodat je het eiland goed kan ontdekken.

Charming Calmar Cottage

Loved staying at Calmar Cottage, had all your home comforts as well as a/c in bedrooms a fabulous pool and great outdoor area, Charles and Maxine the hosts were lovely and very accommodating, Mullins beach was only a couple of minutes walk away and beautiful, lovely places to eat within walking distance, would definitely recommend staying at Calmar Cottage😊

Lovely cottage

The cottage had everything that we needed and the hosts were attentive and responsive. We had formerly lived on the island previously so knew our way around. Mullins is a perfect area if you want to have everything you need within a few blocks. It is very safe and the Bay is spectacular. Good food choices for both local cuisine and more traditional preferences. Cottage has everything that you would need to eat in as well. Hosts take pride in their home and had great appliances and modern features. Hot tub was not working when we were there, but the worlds biggest hot-tub was a 5 minute walk away. Our cottage is quite close to the sea, and it is not usual to sit in the porch at hear the crashing waves especially late at night.
The neighborhood is quiet and friendly.
The gentle breeze on the porch and relaxation area is simply divine! .
