Beläget i en olivlund med spektakulär utsikt, som kan avnjutas från poolområdet; eller samtidigt med en BBQ på uteplatsen. Med en inomhus öppen spis, traditionella spanska köket och takbjälkar, är stugan pittoreska och full av tecken. Perfekt för par som vill ha lugn och ro som landsbygden har att erbjuda och ett bra promenadområde. 10 minuters bilresa från 3 olika byar inklusive den mest pittoreska byn Comares och 5 minuters promenad från den lokala baren / restaurangen. 45 minuters bilresa från stränderna och attraktionerna vid kusten; eller en 2 timmes bilresa från skidåkning i Sierra Nevada, det här är verkligen en semester som kommer att erbjuda massor av variation! Mountainbikrar och vandrare kommer också att njuta av Montes de Malaga, ett naturreservat som ligger 20 minuters bilresa från huset. Fastigheten är fullt registrerad hos Junta de Andalucia Turiststyrelsen, så du kan vara säker på att huset är en legitim godkänd och inspekterad semesterbostad i Spanien.

Peaceful and beautiful

A wonderful stay at this amazing, private villa. Everything you need and away from the tourist traps. Loved the little local bar, my Spanish is very poor, but we were made to feel so welcome. Thoroughly recommend.

Amazing

Our stay was really good. The house is equipped with everything you will need. It is nicely decorated and we loved the outside area. In the reviews, we read about needing a 1.4 or even 1.6 car. Our car is a 1.1 and we did not have any issues driving trough the surroundings. We would definitely recommend this accomadation :)

Tranquil, relaxing and perfect

This villa is perfect for a couple. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Communication from the owner was excellent with great directions and other useful hints and tips. We have stayed in lots of rural parts of Malaga province and it was a real bonus having Bar El Niño close by! Lots of local character and characters. If you love being away from it all and experiencing total relaxation, this is the place for you.

Stunning surroundings, stunning views

We arrived late in the night in the dark and it wasn't easy to find. We thought we had to stay the first night in our car, but after some wrong ways we finally found it. So use the map here at fewo-direkt and it will be ok. We had the bad luck to be there during the electricity blackout allover Spain and Portugal. But that' s not the problem from Liane. We had a problem with the gas heater in the late evening and it was quickly solved next morning before 9 am.We were here buying a own cottage in the stunning landscape in the hills directed Granada. So we'll going to live here forever starting in the next 3 months. So the response was were quickly as the friendly Liane was. We appreciate it really. Two doors won't close exactly; caused by the rainy period before we arrived. In summer we guess it works. The only problem for us: the behaviour of the dog owner below us. He wasn't there for really one week, wondering what's about the poor animals drinking and eating. The result were 4-5 barking dogs day and night, but nothing Liane has the responsibility for.Thank you for being there, we think we have a new guest for you; our friend would visit it too. A little bit of peaceful heaven

We loved staying at Casa Escondida. It’s a cosy, simple life in the hills with a comfy bed, powerful shower, lovely pool and AMAZING views. The little bar, El Niño, down the road is wonderful if you want to get integrated into local life. Liane was readily on hand with excellent information before our arrival which made our stay relaxed throughout. We can’t wait to return.

Little gem

What a amazing place ! Comfortable, surprisingly spacious behind those doors. Fantastic location and views, the pool area was very inviting and refreshing ! Too short a stay on this occasion, hope to re visit. Roads are definitely not for the faint hearted ! All in all a fantastic hidden gem, Thank you.

A beautiful location to completely unwind

The residence is hidden and it took a while to find it. The directions with photos were very useful to get there. There was only 1 comfortable chair in the house but given the nice weather we only sat outside In front of the house is a nice place to sit out of the sun with a nice view. The owner is very careful with providing information about the stay.

The Perfect Tranquil Getaway

This is the second time I have stayed at Liane's beautiful Spanish cottage up in the spectacular Andalucian mountains. The location is perfect for a quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, within 40min easy drive from Málaga airport. The views take your breath away with gentle sounds of cyclades and goat bells ringing amongst the hills. I was able to work from my laptop with good WiFi connection. The newly renovated modern kitchen and breakfast bar make this property a superb self catering option with a good size fridge/freezer. Liane has certainly given a lot of thought to making sure there's everything you could possibly need, from cooking utensils, pots and pans, glasses, bowls and plates, to bottle openers! There was tea/coffee and a welcome bottle of wine waiting for me on arrival, lovely thoughtful gestures. The weather was sunny in mid October, around 25 degress every day. The swimming pool was clean and warm to swim in every day. Good water pressure in the bathroom shower. The property was extremely clean with fresh bed linen and towels provided, also a washing machine and clothes line/rack, iron and ironing board. My favourite thing was to sit outside for breakfast, lunch and dinner under the sheltered outside dining table and pergola areas enjoying the spectacular views and tranquility. I would highly recommend this magical place for couples looking for a relaxing peaceful getaway. I didn't want to leave and will be going back again next year.

SEJOUR DANS L'ARRIERE PAYS DE MALAGA

Lieu parfait pour des vacances reposantes et un peu sportives dans une maison bien située entre COLMENAR et COMARES. Pleine nature, petits villages et hameaux, quiétude, calme et tranquillité pour bien se ressourcer. Maison conforme à la description sur site, très bien aménagée, belle cuisine, avec une piscine tout à fait bienvenue et bien entretenue, belle terrasse et espaces extérieurs très agréables. Nombreuses randonnées autour de la maison et surtout au Parque Montes de Malaga à 20' en voiture par la route (nombreux sentiers de randonnée). La propriétaire a été réactive et répondu à toutes nos attentes (peu nombreuses car tout était très bien). On peut profiter de MALAGA et ses alentours en 30' en voiture par l'AUTOVIA. Nous avons aussi pu profiter de la feria de COLMENAR et le village perché de COMARES mérite vraiment le détour ! Un très bel endroit !

Escapada estupenda

Pequeño cortijo en los montes de Malaga. Piscina estupenda, magnifico porche. Dentro de la casa hace un poquito de calor, es la única pega que hemos encontrado, ya que las ventanas están selladas y no hay ventilación. Por lo demás todo perfecto.

Fabulous getaway

Surprisingly large bedroom and bathroom made this a comfortable holiday let. Well off the beaten track (prepare to get lost a few times! ) the house is nonetheless in a great location for exploring this beautiful part of Spain - Antequera, Malaga and Nerja are well worth visiting and the Natural Park of Montes de Malaga is on the doorstep for spectacular walks and views. The pool is gorgeous on a hot day and the shaded patio also a real bonus! A thoroughly enjoyable break.

Kurzurlaub als Paar

Wir waren für ein verlängertes WE in diesem Haus und rundum begeistert. Das Haus liegt fantastisch ruhig mit einem tollen Ausblick über die umliegenden Täler. Einfach und sauber, aber mit allem, was für eine erholsame Auszeit nötig ist. Der fehlende Fernseher ist nur positiv anzumerken, er würde eh nur stören. Neben der üblichen Ausstattung gibt es sogar eine Waschmaschine. Wie im Inserat beschrieben, ist es eher für Paare oder Familien mit kleineren Kindern geeignet, da die Zimmer keine Türen haben und der Zugang zum einzigen Bad durch eines der beiden Schlafzimmer führt. Der Pool stellt für Kinder keine Gefahr dar, er ist komplett von einer Mauer umgeben mit einem abschließbaren Tor. Unsere Anreise erfolgte via Airport Malaga. Die Entfernung beträgt ca. 40km/1 Autostunde, was völlig i. O. ist. Allerdings sollte die wirklich detaillierte Wegbeschreibung dringend beachtet werden. Insbesondere in Colmenar, wo wir durch mussten, hat mir mein Navi (GoogleMaps) diverse Streiche gespielt bzw. die Gässchen dort sind teilweise so winzig, dass man sich ohne die Bestätigung der Beschreibung doch schnell etwas verloren vorkommen würde. Einkaufen und sehr gut und überraschend günstig Essen kann man in Colmenar. Dort gibt es einen günstigen und komplett sortierten "Supermercado Alsara" sowie einen ebenfalls sehr günstigen "Krimskrams-Laden", wo man von Schuhen über einfaches Werkzeug bis hin zu Spielzeug und Hygieneartikeln alles findet. Dieser ist in GoogleMaps nicht angegeben, befindet sich aber in der Calle Camino de Malaga, ziemlich genau gegenüber der kleinen Bank-Filiale in der Nähe des kleinen Platzes/Kreisverkehrs, und damit auf direktem Weg zum Haus. Zu beachten: Im Gegensatz zu uns in Deutschland pflegen die Läden von 14 Uhr bis 17 Uhr Siesta, wohingegen zumindest die größeren Restaurants ab 12:30 Uhr durchgehend geöffnet haben. Malaga als Stadt haben wir gemieden. Am Strand waren wir in Torre del Mar. Das ist vergleichbar weit vom Haus, dafür aber vor allem abends deutlich ruhiger und sehr sauber. Es gibt eine endlos lange und schöne Promenade, alle Nase lang einen Kinderspielplatz, Strandduschen und Miet-Liegen/Sonnenschirme. Empfehlen kann ich den Jardin Botanico Historico. Wer exotische Pflanzen mag, wird diesen Park lieben. Er ist liebevoll gestaltet, nicht zu groß, mit einem kleinen Cafe und sehr vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Wege sind durch die Bäume am Wegrand nahezu durchgehend beschattet. Es gibt nur ein Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!

We live in England with our three children. We manage to go over to our house in Spain once or twice a year, but wish it was more often! We love the peaceful life in rural Andalucia, where we can truly relax and get away from our busy working life in the UK. We love being in Spain - both in the summer when we can make full use of the pool, or in the winter when we enjoy the log burning fire and the pretty walks in the area. Holidays there offer us space, fresh air, privacy and a truly relaxed lifestyle. In April we try to go skiing while we are there, the two hour drive to Sierra Nevada is fine for a day trip, where we can catch the low season cheaper ski prices. My husband and I grew up in Cape Town, and this rural area of Spain reminds of us of the rural cape: rolling hills, pretty countryside and very peaceful. We bought the house in order to have a bolthole: somewhere to go away from our busy lives and jobs, so no tv here! When we visit, we like to spend time tending to the fruit trees and have started planting some vegetables too - so if anything is ripe when you are there, help yourself! If this sounds like your cup of tea (or glass of sangria!) do come and enjoy our little cottage in a very pretty part of Spain!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We bought in rural Andalucia because of the stunning views, the peaceful, tranquil area and the outdoor space it offered our growing family. We thought the location was ideal - 45 minutes from Malaga, only 10 minutes from the nearest villages and 8 minutes walk to the nearest pub. We prefferred being away from the hustle and bustle of the Costa and wanted to be in the "real" Spain, where traditional customs still exist.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The property is not far from local amenities such as villages with their own markets, access to 24 hour hospital care if needed, and a local restaurant.
The motorways to Malaga and Granada are both excellent, so we can easily either go to Malaga where we can enjoy a day of tourist attractions, or the beach - alternatively we can head towards Granada and the Sierra Nevada in the winter to enjoy the skiing. We think this gives us the best of both worlds! The area is a stunning walking or mountain biking area, with the Montes De Malaga just a 20 minute drive away. The property itself is very private, with its own private pool, ideal for couples.
