John and Julie were very responsive to our needs and were quite accommodating withgreat our handicap adapted needs. Having two masters was nice.

Meeting my new great nephew

The purpose of my visit was to meet my new great nephew. And he is perfect. The home we stayed in was so nice. The kitchen and dining room we open and all areas a were easily accessible. The was adequate utensils and cooking items. Appliances were clean. The ice maker had a frozen “waterfall” in it but we defrosted the waterfall and was able to resolve the ice maker issue. We did not contact management as we knew how to correct the issue. The living room was warm and inviting. The tv worked well and it was easy to use. All four bedrooms were nice. There were two master suites - as we described them - that were great. They each had king sized beds. The mattresses were a little hard for us but everyone has their preference. The other bedrooms were children oriented. They were playful and colorful. Very nice. The bathrooms were nice as well. The shower floors were a little slippery so be careful making the step out. Water pressure was good and temp of the hot water was good. The pool was a nice addition. We enjoyed some pool time and were grateful to have a private pool. The garage was turned into a game room. Pool table, football table and several other games were present. Very cool to have these things. Washer and dryer worked well. I would like to mention to the management company to make sure the trash can gets taken out as requested. We couldn’t take it to the road before we left as we left before the acceptable time to place it out. Great experience and hope to return.

EXCELLENT POOL AND HOT TUB

The house is located on a quiet gated community. We stayed over Christmas and paid extra for pool and hot tub heating. An excellent choice, the hot tub was separately heated and got really hot. Really appreciated in the cool Orlando weather. We ate out mostly but the kitchen seemed to have ample utensils. Usual american style washing machine and dryer. Could have had a starter pack of laundry gel but no great issue. Two spacious master bedrooms and a third shared by the other 2 bedrooms. Wifi worked well and a large TV in the main room. Overall excellent

Vacation to Legoland with Grandkids

We had a great stay at the Villa. House was perfect for our stay. It was safe, clean, spacious and comfortable. All our needs were met. Great communication with hosts. The kids enjoyed the pool and game room. Walmart was nearby and Legoland was about 15 minutes away which grandkids enjoyed. We also found good places to eat nearby and visited Manny's Chophouse one evening. It was awesome! Great food and service. Totally recommend this Villa!

Great last minute vacation

Julie was very helpful throughout both the booking experience and while we were at the house. The backayrd was huge, with no one looking into the pool area. We utilized the pool and spa for hours with our kids. Lots of room for 2 families to spread out. A great stay!

Kitchen well stocked

Enjoyed our visit. Kitchen was well stocked with all kitchen gadgets you could ever want. Large pantry to store food items which we found very helpful. Loved the access from the master bedrooms onto lanai. The area was secure and gated. We would recommend brighter lighting in family room to make reading easier.

Beautiful Home Away from Home

Lots of personalized touches throughout the home that make you feel cozy. The home was clean and there was plenty to do. The kids enjoyed the pool and game room. We ended up extending our trip and Julie was a gem! She was so kind and highly recommend this property! We will definitely stay again next time we are in Florida.

Had a great stay here. Everything was as described in the listing. House was well furnished. Great location close to attractions. Gated neighborhood was fantastic, clean, and quiet. Spent most of the stay in the pool and on the pool patio!

Perfect Vacation

The house was exactly as advertised. There were blinds that were broken in two rooms but one call to the property manager was all that was needed as someone immediately came and took care of them. I most likely will return to the property as it was so relaxing for me.

wonderful Florida house

The property was well kept. House was nice and clean when we arrived. We had an issue with the AC, but when we contacted the owner, they were very prompt with getting maintenance over to the property to check it out. Turned out it was just an internet connection problem, so all was well after that.

Nice Vacation Home

Home is in a nice gated community. We wish we would have known that the TV system was a streaming system where a subscription was needed to watch most of the channel's, no local news channels were available. This was an unusual time with the Coronavirus hitting while we were there. This was a big disappointment to not be able to stay current with the news!! We loved the Master suite, the bathroom is awesome. We wished we would have paid for the pool & hot tub to be heated. It was very cold, even with the 80° weather we had. The local traffic noise was very loud, we had trouble sleeping at times. We wish there would have been a gas grill there instead of a charcoal grill. The owner was very good about corresponding with us. We spent alot of time at the house due to the virus hitting Florida. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and soaking up the sunshine and warm weather.

Totally Handicapped Accessible Villa

Previous reviews of this property are not exaggerated. The property is clean and comfortable. No one has addressed the accessible aspect of this property, however. Many properties are listed as handicapped accessible, but upon further investigation, owners will reply that there is "only one small step" to enter the property. This is not handicapped accessible! The Little Mermaid Villa is totally accessible from the front door as well as out to the pool area. Floors are tiled and doorways are plenty large enough for a wheelchair or mobility scooter to pass through easily. I highly recommend this property for anyone travelling with someone with mobility issues.

Born and living in the UK I am the owner of Little Mermaid Villa. As a busy self employed plasterer I enjoy getting away on holiday to the villa with my wife and family when possible...enjoying the break whatever time of year.
I have grown to love Orlando over the past 11 years of visiting and always there is something new to see and do.
My hobby when I get time is fishing and I enjoy the mornings I spend fishing at the lake on the community..while waiting for the family to get up and ready for the forth comming day of enjoyment.
I am married to Julie with one son, three daughters. Now we have the pleasure of grandchildren all of who visit the villa
Best thing is they call it Nanny's Villa...and they love it.
That is what it is all about..holidays with children making memories
Also holiday without the children still make memories!!

The area is so handy for everything...parks 15 to 25 minutes away with Busch gardens just down the interstate four ..also direct roads to Clearwater St pete's and Tampa...driving is so easy and the location of the villa means no traffic jams and easy to navigate highways.
After looking at villas for what seemed an eternity I came across this community and made it my business to visit the site while building work was under way..I cannot help it being in the building trade!
The location is ideal for where ever you want to go..you enter the community through gates to view a large lake on the right then you travel up the small quiet roads to the villa which is situated within its own grounds and is not overlooked at all..we have a large lawn behind our villa which is a bonus guest tell me

The villa is equipped to the highest standrds and caters for all needs. Tastefully furnished with a fully equpped kitchen. All bedrooms have televivions plus the three bathrooms have ample supplies of towels. Also provided are hair driers for those who need to use them [which are all on american voltage so you do not need to pack own] A cot and highchair are also provided if required
The villa has also had adaptations for diabled use..grab bars in main shower, with shower seat when needed plus all entrances to villa are slopong so a wheelchair can access the villa without problems..also the doorways are marger to accomodate wheelchairs. We also offer details of hoist hire if required.
The villa is situated on a gated community totally private . Sun shines over the pool area all day long and once visited am sure you will want to return..as many guests do!
