It is a special and well loved house in an incredible location. We enjoyed our time there with three families and took advantage of activities like the beach and the pool as well as local sightseeing. The host and staff were very responsive and helpful in a relatively remote spot. While we got used to the fifteen minute 5km drive on the very rough road it’s worth knowing that before you arrive as of December 2025.

Beautiful home in quiet location. The area is beautiful and we only saw 3 people in the beach the entire time there. I have never seen more sea shells in my life. We had 7 people and everyone enjoyed there room and bathroom. The local manager is very friendly and helpful and easy to work with. We also used Adrianna for some meals and they were huge and very delicious. The house is showing signs of wear due to the tough salty environment, but all in all, great trip. Also, there is a new dirt road that is very smooth, so no issue or discomfort getting to the house. We also enjoyed Sisal and the restaurants very much

One month at Trinitarias

Lovely, spacious house, gorgeous beach which we often had to ourselves, unspoiled location, and a charming little town. We lived here for a full month, working remotely and enjoying the leisurely pace and delightful weather. Ricardo and the crew were welcoming and extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

Peaceful

Sisal is a small but very peaceful town. The people are so friendly and helpful! Ricardo was awesome he help us with anything from silly tourist questions to helping us get a fishing guide. The house was very spacious and everything Mitch said it would be! Merida was a very lovely town as well!! We defiantly will be returning!!

WHAT A PLACE... A little piece of heaven on earth!

We spent Christmas week here and we couldnt be happier. Ricardo and Beto are amazing! We were in the midle of nowhere but at the same time a short 10 min drive to town of sisal where we could get everything we needed. We lost power one night but the house have its own power plant and we didnt miss a beat. Thank you guys. Amazing place

Idyllic family vacation

Stayed at Los Trinitarios with a group of family and friends of all ages (8 months to 65 years). Alberto was a dream to work with, even meeting us on his motorcycle at 11pm to help us find the house when we were lost in town. The suggestions of tours and local vendors were phenomenal. This included a personal chef cooking delicious Yucatecan cuisine, in-home massage and soundbath service, and a boat cruise out to a kayaking spot at a cenote with fresh ceviche at the end! The setting is idyllic, super private, and ideal for families. The people of Sisal are warm and helpful. We are so grateful for this adventure and can't wait to come back!

The house has a beautiful patio and pool overlooking the ocean.

The view from the living room & all the bedrooms is spectacular. The house easily accommodates 12 people as does the patio. The place is very quiet and the beach, just a short walk down a path from the house, is very private and you can walk for miles with virtually no one else on the beach. Adrianna, the caretaker, is a wonderful cook and prepared a wonderful meal for us that we ate for 3 days!! She only speaks Spanish but is a delightful and helpful woman. Mitch, the owner, was extremely helpful and answered all my questions always in a very timely manner. A lovely quiet place.

Beautiful beach and great service

1. Ricardo the property manager and Adriana the house keeper and cook were very attentive. They clearly cared about making us happy. The food was excellent. 2. Sisal is an hour plus from Mérida and access to any purchasing beyond essentials in local bodegas. 3. We were there at the beginning of the rainy season so the bugs were terrible even with Ricardo’s almost daily fumigation. 4. Due to the harshness of the environment the house needs constant repairs, which unfortunately happened multiple times during our stay. 5. The beach was as special as described and had lots of shells. 6. Had we had air conditioning in the common area (not just the bedrooms) the experience would have been 100% better. 7. Over all we had a good 2 weeks.

Nothing we can do about the distance from Merida :-) though we did fumigate each time requested (at no charge) and fix whatever happened to fail. Unfortunately, you ran into a bit of bad luck. On a positive note, an AC unit has now been installed in the living room.

The road from hellz

The house is beautiful, the property manager is fantastic and the setting is perfect, BUT the house is on the far side of sisal. we knew it was a dirt road, I could deal with that but this road is pretty much washed out in many places, it takes 15-20 minutes to drive just over a mile because you can only go around 2-3 miles per hour. The cars is like a bucking bronco, to many holes to avoid them, constantly bottoming out. Find this reason alone I don’t regret this property, I would not return unless the road is completely upgraded.

Good get-away

Manager of the property was very responsive and helpful. Although there is no sea view from the downstairs, it is nice to have privacy in the pool area. Things to improve- - The quality of the bedding was poor. The house itself had deferred maintenance issues - - like a loose pool railing and a difficult to operate sliding screen door. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the oven was not operable, especially since the barbecue is tiny and delapitated. Need sharp knives (or at least a sharpener). On the plus side, lots of towels, nice lounges at the pool, lots of drinking water, and, of course, the beach. Overall, an enjoyable stay. Just need more attention to detail.

Since the review, we have now fixed the pool railing, cleared foliage that was blocking the sea view from downstairs, replaced the oven (it had been ordered prior, but delivery delayed due to supply chain, which I hadn't been notified of), replaced the large glass doors to the patio so they easily slide), and purchased new knives. The bedding is actually in great shape and very comfortable according to past guests and when I was there in December). Would appreciate more info on the quality issue (though I know you did not stay there, only your relatives).

The GREAT and the not so good...

First, the owner Mitch has been wonderful with communication and correcting the negative aspects of the house to the best of his ability during our stay. The layout, pool, outdoor area and beach are perfect especially with a large group. Literally, the best family vacation location you could ask for especially the beach. In 6 days we saw 1 person. We fished off the beach, bbqd, enjoyed the amazing sunsets and moon-- had a blast. The house however is not without many issues. The overall cleanliness was a huge issue. The quality of furnishings was very disappointing to say the least. For a daily rental rate of 338 USD (high season) we were very disappointed. Mitch is aware of the issues and states he in the process of making some major improvements and I am confident he will follow through. We would gladly stay here again once the improvements have been made and new photos are posted.

I appreciate the positive review as well as being notified about the shortcomings. To bring things back to 5-star quality, we now have the maid and groundskeeper coming every day except Sunday (rather than every 3-4 days) to clean. We are also addressing the furnishings that have become aged - e.g. we've hired someone to build new kitchen drawers and cabinets to replace those that have begun to peel due to the humidity; we've purchased new drapes, new stainless steel knives, new blender, new water dispenser, and more.

Beautiful Beach Location!

Our group of 11 people enjoyed 4 nights at this remote, secluded beachfront house. Mitch, Ricardo and Adriana were great to work with and answered all of our questions promptly. Ricardo arranged transportation for part of our group to/from Merida airport. Adriana cooked two dinners for us which were excellent. Although you are only a couple miles from Sisal, the road to get there is very rough so you have to drive slow and it takes about 20 minutes each way. There is not a lot in Sisal, but you can get staples. We found that Hunumca was better for a bigger grocery run but it's an hour round trip. Try to bring more than you think you need! Everything in the house was in working order and we had no issues. There are LOTS of biting bugs (mosquitoes?), but it's a remote location so it was to be expected. We basically had to go indoors after sundown, but enjoyed the beach and pool all day long. Thanks Mitch, Ricardo and Adriana!

Das Haus war schön ausgestattet, aber leider nicht sehr sauber. Ein größeres Manko war jedoch die Buckelpiste, die man hinter sich bringen musste, um überhaupt zum Haus zu gelangen.Zwei Badezimmer hatten Freiluftduschen, was prinzipiell schön war, aber im Erdgeschoss zu recht vielen unerwünschten tierischen Besuchern einschließlich eines Skorpions geführt haben. Die Einrichtung des Hause hat uns insgesamt jedoch sehr gut gefallen.

Muy bueno

La casa tiene todas las comodidades, no lujosa, justa para no preocuparse de nada. Si sugeriría que tuviera mejor mantenimiento... cuesta abrir algunas ventanas , los administradores son precisos no te aturden pero si están muy al pendiente (Don Beto) . Doña Adriana no le preocupa mucho la limpieza pero lo compensa con su excelente cocina típica yucateca de alta calidad y a un costo accesible, mi viaje fue familiar y todos la pasamos excelente. La ubicación es muy buena para alejarse del ruido y muchedumbre pero si te gusta la comodidad de la ciudad es un poco retirada pero no relevante, si es lo suficientemente accesible. En conclusión muy recomendable . Posdata: mi mascota fue feliz

Perfekte Lage

Die Lage ist perfekt für ein Urlaub mit Freunden. Das Meer direkt vor dem Haus. Wir waren praktisch alleine auf dem ganzen Strand. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, könnte eine Renovierung vertagen. Der Hausmeister, Ricardo ist sehr hilfsbereit, hat alle unsere Wünsche, Bemerkungen sofort erledigt. Insgesamt war es ein sehr gelungene Urlaub.

Sisal

The house has plenty of room for a large family. The property manager is great and will do whatever you need to have a great stay. There are lots or reviews talking about the bugs here. Yes it’s true you are in a very remote location just have the proper clothing and bug spray. It is a great place to get away from everything and stroll the beach. There are so many shells on the beach so best to have some type of beach shoes.

Magnífica casa para vacacionar
