Well located apartment

Great stay in this apartment located in the village. The gondola that goes to the station (1200m) is really in front of us, very appreciable.

New year stay 2024

This was a great holiday, location was perfect and the chalet was homely and worked well for 7 adults and 2 older teens. The cave ski storage and car parking were really convenient. We had superb skiing conditions throughout our week - AMAZING. The proximity to the lift was ideal, even popped down for lunch some days. Lovely bathrrom and shower, good seating and diner table. Would really recommend.The only frustration was the induction cooker that would only allow you to use 2 jets at once effectively (up to a total of 12 power points) and the dishwasher wasnt brilliant, but we just washed some by hand. .

Great location and apartment

What a great location. Literally was able to Ski to right outside the apartment and enjoyed views of the slopes from the balcony. The apartment had lots of cookware and we were even provided with tea towels, cloths etc which we haven’t had before in that resort so nice surprise. The kids loved the ps4 too after a days skiing. Very clean and tidy and cosy at night and Phil was very responsive. A great place and would definitely stay again.

Excellent location and cozy apartment with space.

Loved Phil’s loft apartment. Had great room spacing, nice kitchen, living room was perfect for hanging outafter a long day’s ski. Proximity to Morillon gondola was amazing. Only priblem was we had bad weather and there wasn’t good snow. We had one day where it rained pit completely and couldn’t ski which was a big bummer. The following week after we left had amazing snow however and the slopes had enough to have fun.

Family ski holiday

We had a fantastic week in Morillon. The flat was perfect for two families with lots of nice touches. The location was great-right opposite the gondola and the skiing was ideal for our children aged 6-8. Morillon was quiet but a lovely village with a great, family friendly restaurant right opposite the flat. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough snow to ski all the way down but the gondola up was easy. Only one criticism was we had to take our own towels and the dishwasher wasn’t working very well. Apart from that it was all wonderful.

Cosy apartment right by the lift

We spent a lovely holiday at the cosy apartment which is situated right next to the gondola in Morillon. We did have a bit of a problem locating it as the numbering was quite confusing, but that was more due to us misreading the instructions I think. The apartment has everything you need and ample seating for the five of us which can be rare in an apartment in France (there were three double sofa's one of which is a sofa bed). It is up several sets of stairs and as it is a loft apartment there are also stairs once you access the property. These can be closed off however by using the stair gate. Phil was very helpful and available at all times to answer questions and we would be very happy to return.

Parfait ! Belle expérience !

L'appartement est vraiment très bien situé, au pied des pistes de la Station Morillon Grand Massif. Télécabines à 20 m !!! Le domaine est top. Phil, notre propriétaire, très réactif, sympathique. Les explications fournies étaient très claires. Logement qui fait penser à un chalet de montagne avec une déco "vintage". Chaleureux, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Je recommande.

Short ski entre copines

Grand appartement très bien situé beaucoup de placards de rangement situation idéale pour un départ et retour ski pied. Il faudrait peut-être juste penser à renouveler la batterie de cuisine sinon c’était un séjour idéal à refaire refaire.

très belle exposition de l'appartement. les remontées mécaniques ont été les bienvenue pour accéder aux pistes. Le seul regret et le manque d'enneigement et les couteaux de cuisine qui auraient besoin d'un petit affutage. ;-)

Well equipped and comfortable apartment. Great location with Doina piste outside and a stone's throw from the gondola. Nearby to restaurants and shop. Storage for skis underneath. Great stay!

Alle lof, voor deze loft!

Heel goed contact gehad met de eigenaar, reageert heel snel! Goede afspraken kunnen maken ivm Corona. Bij aankomst stond er een leuk welkomstpakket voor ons klaar, zeer attent. Het appartement was lekker schoon en fijn dat de bedden waren op gemaakt. Heerlijk als je zo laat aankomt. Er ontbrak ons aan niets in het appartement. Bedden waren goed. Veel zitplaats voor en grote familie. Het bubbelbad deed het goed bij onze dochters!😀Erg fijn voor de spieren na het skiën. Uitzicht op de kabinelift, was heel gezellig. Top locatie, je stapt zo de skilift in en je kunt skiën tot aan het appartement. Wat een luxe!! Zeker een aanrader!👌

Well located, cosy apartement

We had a great time in this cosy apartement in Morillon. Very well located, next to the Télécabine of Morillon/le Grand Massif. Also the commerces next door (ski rental, bakery, supermarket, restaurants) are very convenient for your stay. We left our car in the garage and did not use it the whole skiing holiday! Apartment is big enough for a (large) family with multiple kids. It has got a well equipped kitchen, comfortable couches, beds already made upon arrival and last but not least: the hot tub indoors. Thanks for the very warm welcome upon arrival!

Appartement très agréable

L'appartement est très agréable, propre et grand. Très complet en termes d'équipement. Emplacement parfait. Garage très appréciable avec parking public au pied de l'appartement. Plusieurs restaurants à proximité. Petit bémol : mettre toutes les indications en français (en plus de celles présentes qu'en anglais).

Spacieux et bien équipé

Logement très fonctionnel et très bien équipé. 3 vraies chambres, salon avec 3 canapés, grande table pour se restaurer et avec tous les équipements de la cuisine, grande salle de bains. A 3 min de la supérette et du magasin de sport, boulangerie/bureau de tabac à 5 min à pied, bars et restaurants à proximité. Le propriétaire (merci à Phil et sa famille et à Fran) pense à vous dès votre arrivée et est très réactif à la moindre sollicitation. Morillon est idéal comme destination pour visiter les alentours immédiats (Samoëns, Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, Les Gets, Morzine,...), Taninges et Cluses étant assez facilement accessibles pour les questions logistiques. Super séjour. Éléments à prendre en compte : appartement sous les toits et au 3ème étage sans ascenseur et le seul petit bémol de la semaine était la télé qui n'a pas fonctionné (peu gênant pour un séjour dépaysant).

My wife and I live in Nottinghamshire with our 3 children, we have been going on holiday for years in this unspoilt area prior to us buying, which we feel is the perfect holiday destination.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We love the traditional feel to this unspoilt french village and with the apartments 4 * rating and its location close to the lift and bars/restaurants, it is rare to find such an apartment so close to all this.Also with its location to Geneva airport or drive from Calais it must be one of the quickest resorts to get to.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

To be able to ski to your door and sit on the 3rd floor balcony watching the others skiing or sledging this has to be one of the best family resorts. We hope you enjoy it as much as we always do - from Phil and Julie Robinson.
