Hands down the nicest home we've ever stayed in. Beyond every expectation!!! From the welcoming music that greeted us as we walked in the door, to the beautiful decor, the home was magical. Unfortunately didn't have time to use all the immenities on property, so we will be back! Excellent stay with wonderful hosts! 10 Stars!

Excellent host communication. Property lived up to its billing. You have to love an older house with a few of quirks. We appreciated it all.

Beautiful property, just as described. Weather was rainy, so we enjoyed spending time playing games at the large dining table. The guys enjoyed the pool table and electronic bowling game in the basement. Wonderful kitchen with lots of counter space to set out our food buffet. Lots of couches and chairs to sit and just visit, read or scroll on our phone. The restoration of this property was gorgeous, well done. We would recommend.

We were extremely happy with our stay. The house was beautiful, the setting beside the river was perfect. Communication was impaired because my internet didn’t work in the city of Rockford. I was concerned when I could not reach the owners, so we drove to the house when we arrived in town. The owners were there and were very helpful with the check in process. (Internet at the house was excellent, just didn’t work in the town). The home itself was tastefully decorated and all 4 couples agreed the bedrooms were comfortable. The water pressure was a minor challenge. If bathrooms below were in use, the water pressure was non existent on the 3rd floor. The game rooms in the basement were an additional plus. We thought it might be helpful if there were instructions how to operate the games. Overall, we had a wonderful time; would stay there again and definitely recommend it to everyone.

This is such a BEAUTIFUL and unique house and property! The hosts are also so kind. We were able to do our rehearsal dinner in the backyard and got ready in the house for the morning of my wedding. There were so many pretty places for photos and it allowed us plenty of room! Would definitely stay again

This was an amazing property! There was so much common space - multiple different rooms all with a wonderful ambience. The bedrooms were all beautifully decorated. The property itself right on the river was amazing. The host and hostess were easy to contact and so accommodating. We had all the utensils, wine, glasses, K cups, and they even left us a welcoming bottle of wine. The Wi-Fi worked wonderfully and having three different floors gave plenty of privacy. We would definitely rent this property again!
