A little off the beaten path and that was exactly what we wanted … proximity to water was key and we were entranced by the phenomenon of the tides

The house was more than what photographies show you. The people are very kind and Happy to talk with you it is extremely quiet. And once again A magnificent location to admire the beauty of the bay

Slice of Heaven

Tucked away in a quiet but friendly community, Susan's cottage is steps away from the ocean and a short drive to many exciting attractions. During our stay, we saw a Minke whale, porpoises, seals and eagles from the beach, and had the joy of watching deer, foxes and racoons play in the estuary behind the property. All the basics are here to make your stay wonderful.

Great little house close to Bay of Fundy

My husband and I plus our little dog spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed this small house. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The area is quiet but it is in a neighborhood. The house seems to have been recently renovated. There is a nice fire pit outside plus a grill on the back deck; the deck has a view of some water. The beds were comfortable. Nice relaxing spot to stay to explore the area. We were able to take walks down to the Bay and see the low and high tides. The house is a short drive to the ferry to Deer Island, which is a nice place to explore. Be sure to get groceries before you get to the house as there are no large grocery stores nearby, but there are some small grocery/convenience stores not too far away. You can get local seafood nearby, plus wild blueberries and some great homemade apple and blueberry pies!

Peaceful, tranquil place

We loved it! So relaxing and quiet. We visited all the local establishments for smoked salmon, red shrimp, the bakery downtown, and just ate out at a restaurant twice. We loved cooking on the grill out back and enjoying our morning coffee on the back deck. A very short walk to the waterfront to sit and bird watch.

Comfortable Stay in Back Bay

The owners of this property made our stay special as they were extremely accommodating and on various times during our two week stay provided an extra level of service. The house and location met all our expectations and needs. You will feel very safe in Back Bay and experience NB hospitality.

Great clean property. Everything you need to make a great getaway is there. Quiet neighbourhood.

Owners were great communicators. The renting process was a breeze. Would recommend this property to anyone. Great for 4 people easily. Great back yard. Would be great to have 1/2 bath upstairs. But overall a great spot to get away.

Perfect place perfectly situated for us

Lovely home in a great location. We had a wonderful vacation thanks to this property. We could walk outside to fish and stroll the beach or ride our bikes to the ferry to Deer Island to kayak, or hop in the car to whale watch and dine in Saint Andrews, take the ferry to Gran Manan or out to Digby Nova Scotia, or drive to Moncton for all its fabulous, must-see places.

Great value

A nice, out of the way place for a good price. A pushed together king (2 twins) and a queen bed upstairs make this place affordable for a couple of couples. You're within striking distance (30-40min drive) of St. Andrews and all that entails. Well equipped kitchen, and a nice backyard patio and fire pit (although we used neither). Just watch you heads on the ceiling if you're tall!

Beautiful, quiet spot on the bay.

The house was just the right size for two couples to enjoy a little vacation. Far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet but close enough to be able to travel to towns and cities and explore.

Perfect

We had a great short stay at this home. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The street is very quiet which made for a relaxing sleep. The home is tastefully decorated with modern amenities. Nothing but good things to say!

The property was exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations.

The house is very cozy and thoughtfully decorated. Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The location was tucked away and quiet, yet relatively close to everything. Would definitely recommend it!!! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay...wish we could have stayed longer!

We have both lived in Charlotte County all of our lives, we met nearly 30 years ago and started our family together. We are both self employed, we work hard and take pride in our home and also in our rental properties. The home we rent weekly was Jeff's grandparents home where he grew up. The home has many special memories for both Jeff and I and we hope you enjoy your stay with us.
