Fastigheten är idealiskt belägen i ett vackert lantligt läge med fantastisk panoramautsikt över 360 grader. Villan är en nyrenoverad bondgård från 1500-talet med en ljus och öppen känsla. Det har alla bekvämligheter från 2000-talet med välutrustade badrum och kök och skräddarsydda lokalt tillverkade möbler. Den stora gemensamma infinitypoolen (öppen 1 maj-30 september) ligger en 30 meters promenad bort och har fantastisk utsikt över det klassiska toskanska landskapet. Det finns 2 solterrasser kopplade till fastigheten som är perfekta för att njuta av lugnet och lugnet över ett glas Chianti-vin och utsökt lokal mat. De medeltida bergsstäderna Volterra och San Gimignano ligger båda 20 minuter med bil och är perfekta för sightseeing, shoppa eller äta ute. Den närmaste byn Il Castagno ligger bara 5 minuters bilresa bort och erbjuder en lokal restaurang och pizzeria. Siena, Pisa, Florens eller sandiga Medelhavsstränder ligger alla bara en timme bort med bil. Bondgården är omgiven av olivlundar och skogsmark och nås längs sin egen privata väg.

Beautiful Views!!

The manager was great and really helpful. The house was very lovely, and so was the rural settings. We really enjoyd our stay, and can absolutely recommend it.

Lovely stay in Tuscany

The villa is in a lovely location with stunning views across Tuscan countryside and mountains. Some great sunsets while barbecuing in the evening. It was very comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was great and essential during a very hot August. It was smaller than we expected, fine for the two of us but would have been quite crowded with 4 or 6. The swimming pool was lovely but was shared with more villas than we had expected, not a problem in the morning or late evening but could be quite crowded in the afternoon. Steve was a terrific host, always responding quickly before and during our stay and offering good advice on restaurants and other issues. Overall a great spot for a relaxing week or two.

Wonderful Stay

We stayed as a family of five and really enjoyed it. The farm house is lovely and well equipped, the location is great in the middle of the countryside. The separation of the kids (upstairs) and parents is a clear plus as is the air conditioning during hot Italian summer. The pool is close by and large enough to actually swim (or play). You can almost always a bit of shade on one of the two patios. All the attractions of Tuscany are within easy car reach.

Heerlijk landelijk verblijf in Toscane

Mooi complex met vakantiehuisjes met gemeenschappelijk zwembad. Prachtig huisje met rondom uitzicht op de Toscaanse heuvels, lekker weg van de drukte. Auto is wel noodzakelijk; dichtstbijzijnde winkel is ca. 30 minuten rijden

Prettige ligging. Fijn terras in de schaduw en wind. Twee minpunten: wifi beloofd super wn snel. In werkelijkheid dramatisch; zeer slechte wifi, als hett werkte super traag. Geen 4 of 5G. Afstand naar dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt 25 min enkele reis

Thoroughly enjoyed this gem!

The property exceeded our expectations. The villa was clean, well prepped and we did not encounter issues. The scenery was better than in the photos and the guides given to us by the host led us to some delicious meals. We spent a great deal of time sitting outside. The amenities in the house made everything easy. Beds were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

excellent location in the middle of Tuscany

Really nice property in the middle of Tuscany between amazing landscape. Therefore, however, not easy to reach with every car because of a long and gravel path. The manager is friendly and always available in case of questions.

Tuscan Villa

Beautiful setting in the country. Not exactly easy to get to since the access road is filled with pot holes, cows and very bumpy. A solid 10 minute drive off main paved road to get to Villa. Host was accomadating but a lot went wrong. It wasn’t occupied for over a month and we were greeted with water on floor in kitchen unknowing of source. Water heater never worked so we had cold showers throughout week. And then our neighbors(cows) came through property overnight and made quite a mess. Apparently this is unusual but may want to disclose so guests know. Steve our host was great but someone else opened property and heat wasn’t on even though they knew are arrival time. Having a little one it would have been nice to have the house already at a reasonable temp before overnight temps made for a rough start. Would recommend but hopeful this feedback Benefits others. Suggest leaving directions for hot water and dishwasher in other languages.

First Time In Tuscany

This was our first trip to Italy. This property is centrally located so made it super nice to have one location to tour from without having to move our luggage all around. Our flight was late getting in so it was after 10 pm when we arrived on the property and it was a bit intimidating arriving in the dark and not knowing exactly where we were going. The villa was very comfortable and the views were amazing. The Property Manager was quick to respond to any of my questions prior to our arrival and during our stay. I can’t imagine a better property or location for the money. We would definitely consider staying again.

Atemberaubende Lage

Die Unterkunft besticht vor allem durch die traumhafte Lage. Einrichtung hat alles was man für den Aufenthalt benötigt. Checkin mit sehr ausführlicher Beschreibung des Vermieters. Wir sind rundum begeistert !

At home away from home in the Tuscan hills

Our group of four seniors thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We stayed for five nights and managed to have lunch and dinner at a different spot every night within a reasonable driving distance. The property has stunning views and we spent a lot of time sitting outside with a glass of wine, just soaking it all in. Would highly recommend.

Tolle Urlaubszeit / Great Holidays

Da wir erst Ende August, Anfang September dort waren, waren wenig andere Gäste vor Ort und wir hatten den Pool fast für uns alleine 😀 Das Ferienhaus ist zentral gelegen, bis nach Pisa, nach Florenz oder auch an die Küste sind es nur 1 - 1,5 Std. Das Ferienhaus war sauber und es war alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Wir lieben die ruhige Lage und hatten eine tolle Zeit.

Ruhige Ferienhaus mi Blick auf den Hügel von Volterra

Kleine Doppelhaushälfte in sehr gutem Zustand, großer Pool mit einigen anderen Häusern geteilt. Der Blick rundum ist grandios. Es ist etwas abgelegen, man fährt über 2 km auf einer privaten schmalen Schotterstraße. Wir waren im August da, da war es sehr heiß und trocken. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toskana sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen.

Fantastisch uitzicht en fijn groot zwembad.

Heerlijk rustige locatie. Schitterend weids uitzicht. Weg er naar toe is behoorlijk hobbelig maar te doen. Alles aanwezig in het huis, echter de keuken en woonkamer zijn aan de kleine kant. En advertentie is niet duidelijk dat het om een 2-onder-1 kap woning gaat, dus je kunt directe buren hebben.

Great comfort and beautiful views

We spent a wonderful week at Collinella. The house was comfortable and well equipped and we enjoyed the two lovely terraces. The small resort is very well maintained and the pool is nice and of a good size. Steve was extremely helpful and responded quickly to all requests. Like other guests, we were a little surprised by the very long dirt road from the main road to Collinella, but that was the price for the unbeatable views on all sides of the resort. Note: We visited during a heat wave and unfortunately only two out of three bedrooms had air conditioning. But all in all: Collinella is a wonderful experience and we are happy to recommend the place when you have to choose a beautiful setting for a wonderful holiday in Tuscany.

Tuscany Adventures

Lovely property and pool which was wonderful given the high temperatures. The air con upstairs was really impressive. The lack in the down stairs bedroom was a challenge. The road to the property is mentioned in the particulars and is not a problem if you have a car that has height off the ground. The location is wonderful , amazing views and close to some well recognised sites also less known ones. The later provided a different insight into typical medevial life. There were a few minor issues that occured whilst were there which were picked up on quickly and commication with the local person Steve was great. Definate go to place in slightly cooler temperatures if you need the 3 bedrooms and are not used to the heat

This property is worth the drive. A little out of the way but so worth it. Old country farm feel. Small but cozy with outdoor areas that define country. Beautiful, period. Short drive to the beautiful Volterra and San Gimignano. Do it you will not regret it

Toskana-Zauber in idyllischer Lage

Wir waren gerade mit 4 Personen (2 Erw. & 2 Jugendliche) für 10 Tage in "Podere Collinella". Das Haus (genauer die Doppelhaushälfte) ist gut ausgestattet; es ist an alles gedacht und in gepflegtem Zustand. Die Aufteilung der Zimmer (insg. 3 Schlafzimmer davon eins im EG und zwei weitere im 1. Stock) war für uns ideal. Die zwei, zwar kleinen, aber jeweils mit Dusche und WC ausgestatteten Badezimmer sind sehr praktisch und sogar eine Waschmaschine steht im oberen Bad zur Verfügung. Absolute Highlight sind die Terrassen und natürlich der Pool! Es gibt am Haus Nr. 14 insg. drei (3!) Sitzmöglichkeiten, diese kann man quasi je nach Tageszeit genießen - ob mit einem Glas Wein auf der Sonnenuntergangsterasse oder zum morgendlichen Cappuccino auf dem kleinen Platz vor dem Schlafzimmer...einfach herrlich. Der Blick in die Weite ist traumhaft! Die hübschen, wirklich malerischen Städte (Volterra - sieht man übrigens vom Haus :-), San Gimignano je ca. 20 Min., Siena ca. 1h uva. ) sind von hier gut erreichbar. Der Weg zum Anwesen führt über einen ca. 3km langen Schotterweg - an den man sich aber gewöhnt... Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass man tatsächlich immer mit dem Auto fahren muss. Und da das Haus als DH konzipiert ist, kann es -je nach Nachbarschaft- hellhörig werden. Es gibt alles in der Umgebung (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Natur, Sehenswürdigkeiten...) und selbst an die Küste/das Meer kommt man in 1h. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder!

I am Steve and I am a retired senior police officer from the UK. I bought my dream home in Tuscany on leaving the police service in 2007. I met Allan and Claire and their lovely young family in 2009 whilst they were staying next to my property. They loved the area so much that they purchased their own lovely villa. Since then we have become very good friends. They are both busy doctors in the UK so as I have more time on my hands I help out by managing their rentals for them. I have been managing rental properties in this area for over 10 years all of which receive very good or excellent ratings from guests.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I was stunned by the amazing natural beauty of the countryside with its rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves. The area is fantastic as is the house itself along its own private road which affords it wonderful views, peace and tranquillity. It's ideally located in the middle of the 'Tuscan Triangle' only 20 minutes away from Volterra and San Gimignano which are both stunning medieval hill towns. Florence, Pisa and Siena are all only 1 hour away by car. This region of Italy is famed for its local produce with delicious food (wild boar is a speciality) and Chianti wine. Children are made very welcome everywhere and the local people are friendly, warm and hospitable.

The house is modern, comfortable, light and open. It is furnished to a high standard with bespoke locally made furniture, sofas, wardrobes. The villa is located at the periphery of the farmhouse complex and therefore has its own beautiful 360 degree views. There is a 'sunrise terrace' for coffee and cake with direct views of the ancient Etruscan hilltown of Volterra and a 'sunset terrace' for a glass of your favourite tipple with views towards Pisa and the coast. As we have a young family there is plenty of young children's equipment - travel cot, high chair, baby bath & pool toys. There is Smart TV . Its stunning rural location, access to the owners shared infinity type pool, peace and tranquility make it somewhere to really unwind and relax. Both upstairs bedrooms have air conditioning, downstairs the bedroom has a patio door with insect screen and fan.
