Such a lovely, peaceful spot. The cabin is in a great location (near parks, Grand Marais, grocery stores, trails). We ate breakfast at the picnic table next to the lake every morning. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals, and the cabin was clean and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fabulous. We have stayed at numerous places up and down the North Shore and this is by far one of the best. The huge windows, the view alone is wonderful. Super comfortable beds, great kitchen. The outdoor patio and fire pit in the access to the water is just excellent. Great location for getting to many of the hiking trail parking.

Beautiful home & location!

The fire pit is awesome and we enjoyed it both nights that we were there. Enjoyed walking up and down the shoreline, discovered the lower falls of the Fall River. Loved the inside of the home.

Great homemade for north shore exploring

My family rented Moose Hollow for a few nights on our first trip to Grand Marais. Excellent location with easy access to parks and town. We loved being on the lake and enjoying the rock beach and fire pit. Great arrangement for our family of four. Very comfortable and welcoming!

just wonderful

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as great as we remembered. Property is comfortable, clean, and just beautifully located. We loved every minute of our stay! And the kitchen is well-stocked: we were delighted to find a steamer basket while making dinner one night! We will return!

Perfect shorefront home on Lake Superior

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous home on a semi private pebble beach. The house was clean and in wonderful condition. We loved the upstairs bedroom overlooking the lake. Linda was very quick on communication and answering any questions we had. The pictures don't do the house and yard justice. Highly recommend!

Relaxing!

very quiet property on roads end, state land beyond, which made it even better. very scenic private shoreline with pebbles to explore. super cabin layout with private baths for two parties if needed, which worked great for us. clean when we arrived and easy to keep that way. the lake sounds and views are cherished. hope to come back. thanks for sharing

Back to the Nature

Upbeat place. Much beauty inside and outdoors. Works great for two couples. Great place to return to after a long physical day. Appreciated no TV in main living area; it would have spoiled the vibe. Modern and very clean. Completed each day surrounding the firepit followed by a classic Hitchcock movie.

The cabin was clean and very comfortable. We absolutely loved the location and having our own “private” beach. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen had all the things we needed to be able to cook and enjoy many meals at the cabin. The kids loved jumping in the waves and collecting rocks. We took a family adventure along the beach to the waterfall.

Love this cabin! Very clean and great layout. Especially enjoy the sitting room to sit and read with a view of the lake. Also love the great fire pit area. This was our second time there.

Perfect for our getaway!

Moose Hallow is a beautiful cabin that is tucked away and full of the amenities needed for a few days in the woods. The area along the lake is amazing! We loved having a campfire and being right on the water. Listening to the waves at night was so peaceful. Walking along the shore was fun and just sitting and soaking up the sun was perfect. Highly recommend this cabin. We loved it.

A serene oasis

We loved every minute of our stay (4 nights). The house is so beautiful, right on the lake. We loved having breakfast and dinner on the picnic table on the shore of the lake. We actually did not have enough time to fully take advantage of all the quiet nooks of the house. The place totally surpassed our expectations and we hope we can come back! Great setting, wonderful space

Very nicely finished interior, spacious bedrooms. Kitchen decor very nice, most basics present. Only 1 shower, but it's workable for how many the house fits. Outdoor setting is wonderful. Nice fire area, nice patio area, and a really short walk to a very inviting beach. Little disappointing to not have any charcoal provided nor any wood set out for the fire area. Overall, I'd stay again without hesitation.
