Casa Oliveira ligger på en ny väl utformad utveckling av små villor där diskret och omfattande utsikt över bergen i Monchique kan avnjutas. Bara några minuters promenad till den vackra orörda fiskebyen Ferragudo med flera bankpoäng, butiker, barer och restauranger. Tvärs över floden ligger marknaden och fiskehamnen i Portimão med sin småbåtshamn och badorten Praia da Rocha som kan besökas med vattentaxin som finns i byn. Österut från villan ligger en kort promenad till de vackra stränderna på den tystare stranden Angrinha och Praia Grande, där du kan njuta av solen och njuta av lunch på en av strandbarerna eller delta i en av vattensporter som är lättillgängliga där. Great Villa

A beautiful villa, lots of space, very comfortable and well equipped. In a great location, a short walk from the beach or the main square in Ferragudo. Excellent communication with the host, any questions we had were dealt with promptly. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet, safe and comfortable

The host and office assistant were very welcoming and the location was perfect - away from the very busy community of Portimao but close enough to amenities. Secure parking on the property and easy access was appreciated. Very close to some wonderful golf courses. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Excellent location

Great spot to stay in Ferragudo. Easy walking to town and beaches. Quick proximity to many attractions by car. The pool and deck area were a great oasis to return to.

Great neighborhood

House location is on quiet end of street which was a plus. House is comfortable and pool area nice. Local market and coffee shop were friendly, and village a short walk away for great food in a very picturesque place. Would stay in this vrbo again. Note: we were 2 couples, so just know that 1 bathroom is not on the same floor as the 2 bedrooms.

Had an amazing time at this property again - Its location is perfect right next to the town and close to lots of golf courses. The property itself is also great - we loved the pool and went in everyday! Can’t wait to hopefully return soon! :)

Great base for Ferraguda

Been to Casa Oliveira before 7 years ago which is why we came back. Lovely location: easy to walk to the town and beach; great facilities; great pool; everything you want from a 2 bedroom house with a pool. George, the local property manager was attentive and on hand for any help needed. We’ll be back 😁

Relaxing Break

Great 2 bed property in a good location for wandering into Ferragudo. Steps into the pool are great and much better than the ladders that many of the other properties on this development have. Pool has sun throughout the day from early morning through to late afternoon.

Good value

Everything as described, pool very clean, aircon with a young baby was helpful in very warm weather. With a 10 min walk to town where there was an abundance of restaurants and cafes, the location was great.

Charming place

We spent a great week at charming Ferragudo. The villa is as advertised, clean and very nicely decorated. Kitchen is fully equipped. Check in,check out are easy. Couple of good local restaurants in a walking distance. Beautiful beach . Will definitely come back.

A lovely quiet villa, apart from the cockerel! But honestly not a problem. Location perfect for exploring the algarve. Had everything needed for a wonderful holiday. However, could do with some updating. Would certainly return, and would certainly recommend!

Wonderful Stay

The Villa is just superb, very good location, short walk down to Square and would get an Uber return. Villa has everything needed, only used upstairs shower but was very good, the bed in the main bedroom was excellent, very comfortable, outside area just perfect, pool was just right and garden furniture all very nice, villa totally private, not overlooked at all and in a nice road. Ferragudo maybe smaller than other locations, but has everything you need, the beach in particular is great, no sharp inclines into the sea, gentle waves and clear water, beautiful for young families, restaurants are all very good but take the tip to book in advance and the local bars are so friendly. Nothing more required for a lovely weeks holiday, highly recommend and hopefully will return soon

QUALITY ACCOMMODATION IN IDEAL LOCATION

Situated in a residential development (of which there are very many) initial impressions were not great but as soon as we walked round the side of the house to see the pool area we were impressed. Privacy and space galore, coupled with a spacious, modern and well equipped villa made this exactly what we wanted. A short walk takes you to the centre/square and many restaurants (we didn't find a bad one, some were really excellent) but when you return to the house you appreciate the space and peace. First time for us in Ferragudo, we expect to return soon and would certainly check availability for this property first. Highly recommended.

Nice villa, poor admin

The villa was lovely and great for our stay but unfortunately when we arrived at 10pm with our 4 month old baby it hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests. We ended up having to stay elsewhere and the villa wasn’t cleaned until 4pm the next day. As we lost a day of our holiday and suffered quite a lot of inconvenience, we spoke to Vrbo and the owner about some form of compensation but the owner ignored our message.

Hi my name is Jan Murphy. I live and work in the UK and therefore do not get to visit the villa as often as I would like. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to enjoy such a wonderful property and hope it will give you as much pleasure.
Casa Oliveira is a family owned villa and is used by the family for vacations throughout the year we therefore believe it has a 'home from home' atmosphere.
It is lovingly looked after, having been recently refurbished and our guests to date all appreciate and fall in love with the property and it's location and tend to re-visit time and time again. We try to go at least twice a year and the rest of the time we like to think we share our villa and the lovely location with others! Many of our clients go again and again!!

Varför värden valde detta boende

My late husband found the villa whilst on holiday visiting his brother in Carvoeiro. We fell in love with Ferragudo as it has so much character. It is still very Portuguese and uncommercialised compared to other parts of the Algarve. It has everything you could want for an enjoyable holiday right on your doorstep!
It is located in such a beautiful area, in close proximity to our favourite beaches and restaurants, and just far enough out of town to be peaceful and surrounded by open areas with magnificent views from the pool terrace.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Benefits include the 8m x 4m private pool and extensive garden, a must for the children and adults alike in the Algarve sunshine. We often BBQ by the pool in the evening and then walk down to the village square for a few drinks where we like to meet up with the locals who are very friendly and welcoming.
The villa is in a quiet area but with good access to public transport. The spacious property is gated and railings for child safety. The property has electric shutters and alarm which adds to the security of the property.
