Amazing accommodation in a beautiful surrounding. Cosy little cottage jus like from a fairytale. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views. Great location for those who want to explore Peak District. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We spent a magical weekend at Woodview Barn — peaceful mornings, long walks, good food, and a bit of doing absolutely nothing. Just what we needed.

Lovely place to stay for Alton Towers. Only 20 min drive. You need to mind your head upstairs if 6ft and above. Beds lovely and comfortable. I will say and I have not knocked a star as it’s a small thing. There is no WiFi. Feel that should be mentioned on the advert

Short break in glorious Staffordshire countryside

Woodview Barn was perfect for our short break to the South Peaks and Leek. It is clean, comfortable and spacious and is located near the edge of the Peak District National Park. It’s just over a couple of miles from the interesting market town of Leek.If we come back to the area we would definitely stay again.

Simply the best

Beautiful, great views, close to alton towers and other nice little attractions like thors cave. Cosy quiet and out of the way. Always clean and tidy. Love this place.

Fantastic stay

Recently came back from woodview barn. All the family had a fantastic time. The barn was very clean, cosy and excellently converted. Was perfect for us. Beautiful location in the countryside, great walks and a excellent pub/restarant nearby which is called the reform. Would definately stay again.

More than expected

The converted cottage is full of character and everything has it's purpose. Modern central heating, placement of sockets and lighting completed overall good impression. Easy access to interesting locations makes it a great point of start for area exploration. Place to revisit definitely.

Great little stay

Lovely little cottage with everything needed to be self sufficient for a couple of days. Nearby supermarkets in Leek perfect for provisions.

Le cottage est joli, bien dĂ©corĂ©, trĂšs propre et offre tout ce dont on a besoin. Les toilettes sont au mĂȘme Ă©tage que les chambres, c'est trĂšs pratique. Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour.

Great property

We travel a lot and have to say this is one of if not the cleanest property we have had the pleasure of staying in.No dust on any surfaces or any of the usual missed webs or spiders anywhere, immaculate throughout.Plenty of room for two and all the kitchen untensils needed if you want to cook together with a table top freezer to store meals. You could smell the central heating fuel in the kitchen but was not a problem (heating housed on other side of kitchen wall under outside stairs).Plenty of storage in bedrooms, double bed mattress could probably do with replacing at this point but was fine for a two night stay. Water pressure in shower great, (always a plus).Great views from the property and private parking, the photos do not do it justice.Lots to do and see locally for all abilities and plenty of nice eateries near by.Would happily stay here again.

Lovely cosy property in peaceful surroundings. Friendly and helpful host. Ideal for recharging the batteries or using as a base to explore the surrounding areas such as Buxton or Bakewell. Fourth visit and will definitely be back again
