StÀll in praia da luz. Villan ligger 5 minuters promenad till sandstranden och 10 min bilresa till staden Lagos. Det finns ocksÄ mÄnga andra strÀnder inom kort köravstÄnd. PÄ orten finns mÄnga restauranger, barer och affÀrer pÄ kort gÄngavstÄnd (5-10 minuter). För dem som söker mer nattliv rekommenderas lagos. Det finns flera golfbanor i nÀrheten och tre stora vattenparker, den lÀngsta Àr en 45 minuters bilresa bort. För alla som har erfarenhet av "seaworld" i Florida rekommenderas en dagstur till "zoomarine" starkt, igen om en 45 minuters bilresa.

Family holiday

Lovely spacious villa, very clean & comfortable. Pool was a good size with a lovely outdoor area. Great location close to beach and restaurants. Easy to get the bus to Lagos for a bigger resort.

great time

Great accommodation, very spacious, but cosy, had a great time here, short walk to the beach, & all local amenities. plenty of bars & places to eat, very relaxing. We found Lagos, a short distance away, was good for night life. The villa was very clean, & to high standard. Brilliant patio area for late barbecues. Heated pool was a bonus :)

Beautiful villa

Lovely spacious and clean villa. Had everything we needed. Pool was great. Len the owner was really helpful when we needed him. Luz is a lovely village with lots of restaurants and a lovely beach. The Villa is a short walk. Buses go to Lagos for boat trips which we enjoyed.

Awesome Villa and Location

Fantastic and fully equipped villa with a beautiful pool and garden area. Strong WiFi connection and tv with Netflix and Prime. Super local restaurants and bars, Kelly’s sports bar shows all premiership matches and excellent beer! The communications from Len were really clear and our two weeks flew past. Definitely worth a look.

Early Summer break

Having refound Portugal last year we decided to come back and this time try a resoirt we have not been to before. We chose Praia Du Luz and this villa. The Villa is exactly as described in the VRBO listing and is very comfortable. The pool was a joy to use but I did opt to heat it as it was a tad too cold to float around on a lilo - plus it was quite a windy week and this made it feel colder when exiting the pool. Talking of the pool, we could not find any towels specfic for pool use and for all other Villas we have booked over the years, this was always included. Perhaps something for the owner to consider. Aside of that one thing, everything was perfect and allowed us to have a most enjoyable week away from the persistent rain in the UK

Stay at Priah Da Luz.

This modern semi detached property, sits well back from the main attractions near the water. The sea view is glimpsed through a gap between high buildings in the way of a wider view. On arrival the weather was cold the gas fire in the living room did not work. The owner knew about this and made no attempt to have it repaired, suggesting we wear extra clothing. Given we are all in our later 60s to mid 70s this was a big discomfort in the evenings through to the mid morning. We had to bring the bed duvets up from the downstairs bedrooms to keep warm during these times. Then take them back down stairs to go to bed. The bedrooms were damp and our clothing felt damp. Unlike all the other hosts we have stayed with during our six week trip around the Iberian peninsular, this host does not provide basic toiletries or basic kitchen essentials. So you will need to buy all this stuff, on arrival or the next day if you are arriving late. The owner also padlocked the gate and we could not park the car on the drive. All other accomodation we stayed in these items were in abundance, and the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable warm and well catered for with basics in the kitchen. We would not recommend this host or accommodation from this experience.

Nice house, good location, quiet area but boring ending to the accommodation.

A very nice house with a nice pool. The location is very peaceful and within 10-15 minutes you will find around 15 restaurants. 100 m from the house is the Portuguese restaurant Chiccas, which is recommended. Close to supermarket Baptista 3 minutes by car. Everything seems perfect. But we had to pay Settee cover stained, the cleaner said tea stains. We never had food or drink in the living room. If you rent the house, document the interior and outdoor environment so you don't get the same unpleasant surprise as we did.

I don’t think you can beat this villa for value for money. The rooms were spacious and the pool and outside area was a really good size. The beach and shops are all a short walk away so all very convenient. We had a car as we were meeting friends and family but you don’t need one. We had a lovely time.

Careful this guy is a scammer. House is not like on the pictures. There is no sea view. Fridge was dirty. Pool dirty, didn't use. After we left, he wants to charge me because supposedly I broke a lighter and a mob, which were already broken. Overall, the owner is not polite. Never book this!

Great villa in a fantastic location

The owner Lenny gave us details of a taxi company to pick us up from the airport which was a great start. It's about an hour drive. The pool was a good size for just the 4 of us. We were all apprehensive when we realised there was no air-conditioning but to be honest it was fine. The bedrooms were cool at night and the front room/dining room and kitchen was lovely and cool with the balcony doors and back door open (lovely).. short walk to some fantastic restaurants which we went to every evening and reasonably priced. A Choncha, Chiccas, Zest, Arte and Fortaleza de Luz all were of a high quality food with great service. Our only disappointment which was nothing to do with Lenny or his Villa was; the next door villa had their family with 3 young boys stay for 4 days out of our 7 days duration..and they were should i say out of control! Noisy and jumping in their pool with water coming over on us whilst chilling the pool. We normally tend to book adult only hotels to avoid this! As i know it can't be helped? So if was very disappointing for us but couldn't be helped i suppose. Boys will be boys and im sure it was a one off. Other than that it was a brilliant holiday!

Great stay at Lenny’s place

The house is spotlessly clean with a good outside space and pool. It is well placed in PDL, being close to Baptista and multiple restaurants plus the beach. Lenny is a great host, most accommodating and helpful. He is super prompt with comms and that is helpful. I stayed with my adult son who left an item behind on departure and Lenny has been very gracious in his help. Not all owners are helpful with lost property. Thanks Lenny!

Great villa in great location

Great villa with all the necessary amenities, clean and spacious. Great location to get to the beach and restaurants. Minor comments were the springs in the mattress in main bedroom were a bit more prominent than I like and the bedding is a bit dated but neither spoiled our stay. It was very clean and we had a nice message from Mady left on the dining table with some chocolates.

Great Location

Enjoyed a week in this upside-down house. The location is great, just a short walk into Luz & the beach. The villa is tired, doors don't open, the beds & linen are basic. Having bedrooms on the ground floor was not a problem but access to the pool was either out the front door or through a bedroom. The kitchen equipment is very basic, no dishwasher, but if you are eating out it's not a problem. Len helped get us an extra travel cot & a high chair ( although at a cost) Mady the cleaner got us some basics for when we arrived, which made things easier, but cost 15 euros. Good family villa in a great location.

Fantastic villa, perfect location

This was our first villa holiday as a family, and it was absolutely brilliant. Len’s communication was fantastic from start to finish, very accommodating, and even arranged the cleaner to sort some basic supplies for us as we had a late arriving flight. Luz is beautiful, it’s a short walk from the villa to the town and beach, with plenty of restaurants. The villa was spotlessly clean, everything we could need was there, and the kids absolutely loved the pool. I would definitely recommend this villa and location.

WohlfĂŒhlurlaub

Wir haben die zwei Wochen in dem schönen Haus genossen. Es ist alles vorhanden, was gebraucht wird. Wir haben es in einen gut gereinigten Zustand ĂŒbernommen. Die Kommunikation mit dem EigentĂŒmer war gut und unproblematisch. Das Haus liegt etwa 10 Gehminuten von Restaurants und Strand entfernt, also wohnst du ruhig, bist aber schnell im GetĂŒmmel. Der Besitzer reagiert schnell bei technischen Problemen (die Pumpe im Pool war ausgefallen). Die Adressangabe fĂŒrs Navi kann noch verbessert weren, das erspart suchen.

Great Villa in Excellent Location

Had a brilliant stay in Luz. The villa and especially the pool were excellent and gave us a good base to explore Luz and surrounding areas. Pool is a great size and everyone loved it. Easy to wander down the hill into Luz for beach, restaurants and bars and handy for driving further afield. We easily visited waterpark, Cape St Vincent and Silves.

Great Villa for the family

We had the most amazing stay here. The villa was very spacious and had all the facilities that we needed. A very big outside area, and lovely pool which was a huge hit with our children. Only a 10min walk down to the beach and local eateries, and a few local supermarkets also nearby. Len was a great with communicating which made checking in nice and easy. The villa was immaculately clean when we arrived as was the pool. We will definitely be back next year.

Fabulous villa

Our family of 6 stayed here,and the villa is fantastic,far better than the pictures.Very spacious and well equipped.We had a lot of fun in the pool,the outside area is very spacious too.Its a nice stroll down to the front,but coming back in the heat is a bit of a struggle,but it's only 4 Euros for an Uber.Highly recommend this villa,and Praia da Luz is beautiful.

Lovely villa

We had a lovely stay in Luz at this villa. Apart from a problem with check in which was sorted by a very helpful neighbour and excellent cleaners it was wonderful. We did find there were a lot of dogs in the area which barked constantly this was a bit annoying, also the patio doors on the small bedroom did not open, I presume they will get mended and be able to open for other guests. The villa had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The area was great we ate out at lots of lovely restaurants, we found all menus varied and enjoyed every meal. Our favourite lunch out was a bottomless brunch at Lattitude on Sunday, an experience not to be missed.

Absolutely brilliant

Lenny and Ploy are fantastic hosts, really friendly and helpful even before we'd gone. The villa was spotlessly clean on arrival and has everything you can need. The pool was great and we used it a lot whilst there, and the area around the pool was even big enough for our son to play football. All the rooms are large with plenty of space to relax. The location is perfect for the beach, shops and local restaurants with everything within a 10 min walk max. Thank you Lenny and Ploy, we will definitely be staying again.
